1Main seagrass beds and threats to their habitats in the coastal sea of South China显示文摘The distribution, species, biomass,productivity of main seagrasses and their sufferedmain threats are introduced and discussed in thispaper based on the field surveys in the offshore areas of Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces.The seagrass beds distributed mainly in Liusha Bay,Donghai Island and Hailing Island of GuangdongProvince; Hepu and Pearl Bay of Guangxi ZhuangAutonomous Region; Li’an Bay, Xincun Bay, Longwan Bay and Sanya Bay of Hainan Province and soon. The total area of seagrass beds in the coastal seaof South China is about 2400 ha. There are about 8species, such as Halophila ovalis, Halodule uninervisHalophila beccarii, Zostera japonica, Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemperichii, Ruppia martime andCymodocea rotundata. These seagrasses have highbiomass and productivity. 2Impact of built environment on physical activity and obesity among children and adolescents in China:A narrative systematic review显示文摘Background: Neighborhood built environment may profoundly influence children's physical activity(PA) and body weight. This study systematically reviewed scientific evidence regarding the impact of built environment on PA and obesity among children and adolescents in China.Methods: A keyword and reference search was conducted in Active Living Research, Cochrane Library, PubMed, and Web of Science. Studies that met all of the following criteria were included in the review:(1) study designs—experimental studies, observational studies, and qualitative studies;(2) study subjects—Chinese children and/or adolescents aged 17 years;(3) exposures—neighborhood built environment;(4)outcomes—PA and/or body weight status;(5) article type—peer-reviewed publications;(6) time window of search—from the inception of an electronic bibliographic database to May 31, 2018;(7) country—China; and(8) language—articles written in English.Results: A total of 20 studies, including 16 cross-sectional studies, 3 longitudinal studies, and 1 descriptive study, met the predetermined selection criteria and were included in the review. A total of 13 studies adopted subjective built environment measures reported by parents and/or children, 2 adopted objective measures(e.g., geographical information system, field observations), and 5 adopted both objective and subjective measures. PA behaviors included PA, physical inactivity, sedentary behavior, active/passive commuting from/to school, and park visits. Among the 16 studies that provided some quantitative estimates of the influence of built environment on PA and body weight status, all reported a statistically significant relationship in the expected direction. Availability and accessibility in proximity to greenspaces, parks, recreational facilities,and sidewalks were found to be associated with increased PA levels, reduced sedentary behaviors, and/or active commuting among Chinese children and adolescents. In contrast, the absence of bike lanes and living in higher density residential areas were associated with increased likelihood of childhood overweight and obesity.Conclusion: Neighborhood built environment plays an important role in Chinese children's PA engagement and weight outcomes. Building new exercise facilities and enhancing the accessibility of existing facilities hold the potential to enhance PA engagement among Chinese children and adolescents. 3Coastal wetland in South China:Degradation trends,causes and protection countermeasures显示文摘There are abundant coastal wetlands in South China and their main characters are the tidal flats, mangroves and coral reefs. In this paper, the status quo of coastal wetlands in South China is introduced and their degradation trends in the last decades are analyzed based on the existing literatures and information. Their degradation trends are characterized by reduction of coastal wetlands’ area, pollution of seawater environment, degeneration of ecological environment, sharp decrease of biodiversity in the wetlands and so on. At the same time, the causes resulting in the above-mentioned degradations are discussed, mainly concluding imperfect systems of management and legislation, deficient property and assessment systems of the wetlands, weak consciousness of protecting coastal wetlands, shortage of basic study and backward management level and so on. 4Pollution characteristics and ecological risk of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in surface sediments of the southern part of the Haihe River system in China显示文摘The southern part of the Haihe River system, the largest river system in the Haihe River Basin, is important to maintain a healthy ecosystem and safe drinking water as well as for the economic development of China. To assess the effect of rapid industrialization and urbanization on the pattern of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) contamination, the PAH pollution characteristics of the southern part of the Haihe River system was investigated. Sixteen PAHs in surface sediments samples collected from 24 sites covering the southern part of the Haihe River system from the upstream to the estuaries were detected and analyzed. The total PAH concentration ranged from 258.77 to 11296.66 ng/g dry weight. On average, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5and 6-ring PAHs comprised 25.32%, 27.22%, 22.62%, 14.89% and 9.96% of the total PAHs, respectively. Sites with high concentrations were concentrated in the Fuhe River, Fuyang River and Wei River, which are located near cities. A risk quotient (RQ) was used to assess the ecological risk of PAHs. The mean values of the RQ(MPCs) of individual PAHs were lower than 1.00, except for those of naphthalene (2.00) and pyrene (1.67). 5The localization of type 2 diabetes susceptibility gene loci in northern Chinese Han families显示文摘We conducted a genome-wide scan, in which 358 well distributed fluorescent dye-labeled microsatellite marker sets were applied in 32 Chinese Han type 2 diabetes families from Northern China to search for the susceptibility gene loci. The data collected from screening all the chromosomes of genome were genotyped by using genescan and genotyping software, then, parametric and non-parametric multipoint test, and affected sib-pair analysis as well, were used to analyze the data. We identified some susceptibility gene loci residing in chromosomes 1,12,18,20, respectively, or precisely, located around D1S214, D1S207, D1S218, D1S235, D12S336, D18S61 and D20S118. 6Incorporating S-shaped testing-effort functions into NHPP software reliability model with imperfect debugging显示文摘Testing-effort(TE) and imperfect debugging(ID) in the reliability modeling process may further improve the fitting and prediction results of software reliability growth models(SRGMs). For describing the S-shaped varying trend of TE increasing rate more accurately, first, two S-shaped testing-effort functions(TEFs), i.e.,delayed S-shaped TEF(DS-TEF) and inflected S-shaped TEF(IS-TEF), are proposed. Then these two TEFs are incorporated into various types(exponential-type, delayed S-shaped and inflected S-shaped) of non-homogeneous Poisson process(NHPP)SRGMs with two forms of ID respectively for obtaining a series of new NHPP SRGMs which consider S-shaped TEFs as well as ID. Finally these new SRGMs and several comparison NHPP SRGMs are applied into four real failure data-sets respectively for investigating the fitting and prediction power of these new SRGMs.The experimental results show that:(i) the proposed IS-TEF is more suitable and flexible for describing the consumption of TE than the previous TEFs;(ii) incorporating TEFs into the inflected S-shaped NHPP SRGM may be more effective and appropriate compared with the exponential-type and the delayed S-shaped NHPP SRGMs;(iii) the inflected S-shaped NHPP SRGM considering both IS-TEF and ID yields the most accurate fitting and prediction results than the other comparison NHPP SRGMs.Qiuying Li Haifeng Li Minyan Lu 2015Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2015,26,1:7
7Self-standing oxygen-deficient a-MoO_(3-x)nanoflake arrays as 3D cathode for advanced all-solid-state thin film lithium batteries显示文摘Compared with the planar two-dimensional(2D)all-solid-state thin film batteries(TFBs),threedimensional(3D)all-solid-state TFBs with interdigitated contact between electrode and electrolyte possess great advantage in achieving both high energy and power densities.Herein,we report a facile fabrication of vertically aligned oxygen-deficient a-MoO3-x nanoflake arrays(3D MO_(x))using metal Mo target by direct current(DC)magnetron sputtering.By utilizing the 3D MO_(x)cathode,amorphous lithium phosphorus oxynitride solid electrolyte,and lithium thin film anode,3D solid-state TFBs have been successfully fabricated,exhibiting high specific capacity(266 mAh g^(-1)at 50 mA g^(-1)),good rate performance(110 mAh g^(-1)at 1000mA g^(-1)),and excellent cycle performance(92.7%capacity retention after 1000 cycles)in comparison with the 2D TFBs using the planar MO_(x)thin film as cathode.The superior electrochemical performance of the 3D TFBs can be attributed to the 3D architecture of the cathode,maximizing the cathode/electrolyte interface while retaining the short Lit diffusion length.The charge/discharge measurements of the 3D MO_(x)cathode in liquid electrolyte,however,exhibit fast capacity fading,demonstrating the advantage of using transition metal oxide as cathode in solid-state batteries.Shuo Sun Qiuying Xia Jizi Liu Jing Xu Feng Zan Jili Yue Serguei V.Savilov Valery V.Lunin Hui Xia 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:6

9Preparation and characteristics of flexible all-organic thin-film field-effect transistor显示文摘All-organic thin-film field-effect transistor was prepared on flexible poly(ethylene-terephthalate) (PET) substrate. Poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) and pentacene are used as a dielectric layer and a semiconductor layer, respectively. The hole mobility of the transistor can reach 2.10×10-2 cm2/Vs, and the on/off current ratio was larger than 105. The performances of the transistor, when the substrate is cured under different radius, were also measured. 10The receptor-like cytoplasmic kinase RIPK regulates broad-spectrum ROS signaling in multiple layers of plant immune system显示文摘Production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)via the activity of respiratory burst oxidase homologs(RBOHs)plays a vital role in multiple layers of the plant immune system,including pathogen-associated molecular pattern-triggered immunity(PTI),damage-associated molecular pattern-triggered immunity(DTI),effector-triggered immunity(ETI),and systemic acquired resistance(SAR).It is generally established that RBOHD is activated by different receptor-like cytoplasmic kinases(RLCKs)in response to various immune elicitors.In this study,we showed that RPM1-INDUCED PROTEIN KINASE(RIPK),an RLCK VII subfamily member,contributes to ROS production in multiple layers of plant immune system.The ripk mutants showed reduced ROS production in response to treatment with all examined immune elicitors that trigger PTI,DTI,ETI,and SAR.We found that RIPK can directly phosphorylate the N-terminal region of RBOHD in vitro,and the levels of phosphorylated S343/S347 residues of RBOHD are sigfniciantly lower in ripk mutants compared with the wild type upon treatment with all tested immune elicitors.We further demonstrated that phosphorylation of RIPK is required for its function in regulating RBOHD-mediated ROS production.Similar to rbohd,ripk mutants showed reduced stomatal closure and impaired SAR,and were susceptible to the necrotrophic bacterium Pectobacterium carotovorum.Collectively,our results indicate that RIPK regulates broad-spectrum RBOHD-mediated ROS signaling during PTI,DTI,ETI,and SAR,leading to subsequent RBOHD-dependent immune responses.Ping Li Lulu Zhao Fan Qi Nang Myint Phyu Sin Htwe Qiuying Li Dawei Zhang Fucheng Lin Keke Shang-Guan Yan Liang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,10:5
11Macroalgae Blooms and their Effects on Seagrass Ecosystems显示文摘Seagrass decline caused by the macroalgae blooms is becoming a common phenomenon throughout temperate and tropical regions. We summarized the incidence of macroalgae blooms throughout the world and their impact on seagrass beds by direct and indirect ways. The competition for living space and using resources is the most direct effect on seagrass beds when macroalgae are blooming in an aquatic ecosystem. The consequence of macroalgae blooms(e.g., light reduction, hypoxia, and decomposition) can produce significant indirect effects on seagrass beds. Light reduction by the macroalgae can decrease the growth and recruitment of seagrasses, and decomposition of macroalgae mats can increase the anoxic and eutrophic conditions, which can further constrict the seagrass growth. Meanwhile, the presence of seagrass shoots can provide substrate for the macroalgae blooms. Controlling nutrient sources from the land to coastal waters is a general efficient way for coastal management. 15Weak type heterodimensional cycle bifurcation with orbit-flip显示文摘In this paper, we study the weak type heterodimensional cycle with orbit-flip in its non-transversal orbit by using the local moving frame approach. For the first two subcases, we present the sufficient conditions for the existence, uniqueness and non-coexistence of the homoclinic orbit, heteroclinic orbit and periodic orbit. Based on the bifurcation analysis, the bifurcation surfaces and the existence regions are located. And for the third subcase, we theoretically established both the coexistence condition for the homoclinic loop and the periodic orbit and the coexistence condition for the persistent heterodimensional cycle and multiple periodic orbits due to the weak type of the transversal heteroclinic orbit. 16Sustainable activation of peroxymonosulfate by the Mo(Ⅳ)in MoS_(2) for the remediation of aromatic organic pollutants显示文摘Although MoS_(2) has been proved to be a very ideal cocatalyst in advanced oxidation process(AOPs),the activation process of peroxy mono sulfate(PMS)is still inseparable from metal ions which inevitably brings the risk of secondary pollution and it is not conducive to large-scale industrial application.In this study,the commercial MoS_(2),as a durable and efficient catalyst,was used for directly activating PMS to degrade aromatic organic pollutant.The commercial MoS_(2)/PMS catalytic system demonstrated excellent removal efficiency of phenol and the total organic carbon(TOC)residual rate reach to 25%.The degradation rate was significantly reduced if the used MoS_(2) was directly carried out the next cycle experiment without any post-treatment.Interestingly,the commercial MoS_(2) after post-treated with H2 O_(2) can exhibit good stability and recyclability for cyclic degradation of phenol.Furthermore,the mechanism for the activation of PMS had been investigated by density functional theory(DFT)calculation.The renewable Mo4+exposed on the surface of MoS_(2) was deduced as the primary active site,which realized the direct activation of PMS and avoided secondary pollution.Taking into account the reaction cost and efficient activity,the development of commercial MoS_(2) catalytic system is expected to be applied in industrial wastewater.Mengmeng Du Qiuying Yi Jiahui Ji Qiaohong Zhu Huan Duan Mingyang Xing Jinlong Zhang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:3

18One-step ball milling-prepared nano Fe2O3 and nitrogendoped graphene with high oxygen reduction activity and its application in microbial fuel cells显示文摘Developing high activity,low-cost and long durability catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction is of great significance for the practical application of microbial fuel cells.The ftill exposure of active sites in catalysts can enhance catalytic activity dramatically.Here,novel Fe-N-doped graphene is successftilly synthesized via a one-step in situ ball milling method.Pristine graphite,ball milling graphene,N-doped graphene and Fe-N-doped graphene are applied in air cathodes,and enhanced performance is observed in microbial fuel cells with graphene-based catalysts.Particularly,Fe-Ndoped graphene achieves the highest oxygen reduction reaction activity,with a maximum power density of 1380±20 mW/m^2 in microbial fUel cells and a current density of 23.8 A/m^2 at-0.16 V in electrochemical tests,which are comparable to commercial Pt and 390%and 640%of those of pristine graphite.An investigation of the material characteristics reveals that the superior performance of Fe-Ndoped graphene results from the full exposure of Fe2O3 nanoparticles,pyrrolic N,pyridinic N and excellent Fe-N-G active sites on the graphene matrix.This work not only suggests the strategy of maximally exposing active sites to optimize the potential of catalysts but also provides promising catalysts for the use of microbial fuel cells in sustainable energy generation.Xingguo Guo Qiuying Wang Ting Xu Kajia Wei Mengxi Yin Peng Liang Xia Huang Xiaoyuan Zhang 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,2:3
19Mechanical properties and frictional resistance of Al composites reinforced with Ti3C2Tx MXene显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)Ti3C2Tx MXene is an attractive additive not only used in base oil due to its low friction coefficient,but also used in composites due to its high aspect ratio and rich surface functional groups.So far there has been intense research into polymer matrix composites reinforced with Ti3C2Tx,Here we report on the use of 2D Ti3C2Tx to enhance the mechanical and frictional properties of Al matrix composites.Ti3C2Tx/Al composites were designed and prepared by pre s sureless sintering followed by hot extrusion technique.The prepared composites exhibit a homogeneous distribution of Ti3C2Tx.The Vickers hardness and the tensile strength continuously increase with increasing Ti3C2Tx content.A hardness of 0.52 GPa and a tensile strength of 148 MPa were achieved in the 3 wt%Ti3C2Tx/Al composite.The frictional properties of pure Al and the Ti3C2Tx/Al composite were comparably studied under dry sliding.A low friction coefficient of 0.2,twice lower than that of pure Al,was achieved in the 3 wt%Ti3C2Tx/Al composite.Ti3C2Tx acting as a solid lubricant reduces the abrasive wear in the composite,improving the frictional properties of Al matrix composites.Jie Hu Shibo Li Jing Zhang Qiuying Chang Wenbo Yu Yang Zhou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4:3
20Application of quantum chemical descriptors into quantitative structure-property relationship models for prediction of the photolysis half-life of PCBs in water显示文摘Quantitative structure-property relationship(QSPR)models were developed for prediction of photolysis half-life(t_(1/2))of polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)in water under ultraviolet(UV)radiation.Quantum chemical descriptors computed by the PM3 Hamiltonian software were used as independent variables.The cross-validated Q^(2)_(cum)value for the optimal QSPR model is 0.966,indicating good prediction capability for lg t_(1/2)values of PCBs in water.The QSPR results show that the largest negative atomic charge on a carbon atom(Q-C)and the standard heat of formation(ΔH_(f))have a dominant effect on t_(1/2)values of PCBs.Higher Q_(C)^(-)values or lowerΔHf values of the PCBs leads to higher lg t_(1/2)values.In addition,the lg t_(1/2)values of PCBs increase with the increase in the energy of the highest occupied molecular orbital values.Increasing the largest positive atomic charge on a chlorine atom and the most positive net atomic charge on a hydrogen atom in PCBs leads to the decrease of lg t_(1/2)values.Yueping BAO Qiuying HUANG Wenlong WANG Jiangjie XU Fan JIANG Chenghong FENG 2011Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2011,5,4:2
