1Antimicrobial peptide LL-37 forms complex with bacterial DNA to facilitate blood translocation of bacterial DNA and aggravate ulcerative colitis显示文摘Bacterial DNA(bacDNA) is frequently found in serum of patient with ulcerative colitis(UC) and Crohn's disease, even blood bacterial culture is negative. How bacDNA evades immune elimination and is translocated into blood remain unclear. Here, we showed that bacDNA avoids elimination and disables bacteriakilling function of antimicrobial peptide LL-37(Cramp in mice) by forming complex with LL-37, which is inducible after culture with bacteria or bacterial products. Elevated LL-37-bacDNA complex was found in plasma and lesions of patients with UC. LL-37-bacDNA promoted inflammation by inducing Th1, Th2 and Th17 differentiation and activating toll-like receptor-9(TLR9). The complex also increased paracellular permeability, which possibly combines its inflammatory effects to promote local damage and bacDNA translocation into blood. Cramp-bacDNA aggravated mouse colitis severity while interference with the complex ameliorated the disease. The study identifies that inflammatogenic bacDNA utilizes LL-37 as a vehicle for blood translocation and to evade immune elimination. 2Basal与非basal亚型三阴性乳腺癌临床病理及预后相关因素分析(英文)显示文摘Objective:Triple-negative breast cancer(estrogen receptor-negative,progesterone receptor-negative and Her2-negative) can be classified into two subtypes:basal and non-basal phenotype.And the basal phenotype is associated with poor outcome.The purpose of this study was to figure out the differences of clinicopathological characters and related factors of prognosis between these two subtypes.Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was performed for the CK5/6,CK17 basal markers and EGFR on biopsy samples from 40 triple-negative patients and the clinicopathology features of these samples were investigated.Results:Seventy percent of the patients were diagnosed as the basal phenotype.Compared with the non-basal phenotype,the basal phenotype lesions were significantly larger in diameter with a high nuclear grade.In the node-negative group the basal phenotype clearly showed the same clinicopathological differences.There was statistically significant concordance among all three antibodies.Conclusion:Expression of basal markers identifies a biologically and clinically distinct subgroup of TN tumors,justifying the use of basal markers to define the basal or the non-basal phenotype.It is important to help the doctor deciding the therapeutic strategy for patient with triple-negative breast cancer.Lin Sun Lin Zhang Shasha Ren Deding Tao Yaqun Wu 2010The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2010,9,5:0
3Experimental Study of Dissolution-Alteration of Amphibole in a Hydrothermal Environment显示文摘Amphibole is a rock-forming mineral widely existing on the earth.It is easily dissolved and altered during the later stage of diagenesis and mineralization,and often forms chloritization,which is an important indicator for prospecting.To explore amphibole's dissolution process and alteration mechanism,dissolution experiments were carried out under acidic conditions using pargasite-rich amphibole as raw material,and the effects of temperature,p H,and experiment duration on amphibole alteration were investigated.Experimental samples and products were analyzed using X-ray diffractometer,field emission scanning electron microscope,electron probe micro analyzer,and transmission electron microscopy.It was found that many pores and erosion edges are produced after amphibole dissolution,and there is a clear interface between the dissolved residual portion and the parent.The dissolved residual portion remains in the amphibole phase,but as the temperature and time increase,the intensity of the diffraction peak of the phase in the product decreases,and the peak position shifts to a small angle.Many clay minerals such as chlorite and griffithite formed on the amphibole surface.In an environment with strong acidity(p H=3),the amount of chamosite increases with temperature(180℃→210℃→240℃),whereas clinochlore is only increased in a 150–210℃environment.Griffithite growth was observed in the acidic(p H=6)and low temperature(<180℃)environments.Based on this analysis,large radius Cl–enters the amphibole lattice or cracks to promote dissolution.The Al-poor and Ca-and Fe-rich regions between the edge and core of the amphibole are caused by dynamic equilibrium in amphibole dissolution and alteration process,which is an essential indicator for the beginning of amphibole dissolution-alteration.Diffusion and the coupled dissolution-reprecipitation mechanism accomplishes the process of dissolution and alteration to form clay minerals.The energy of the system determined by temperature and p H is the key to controlling the rate of growth and nucleation of clay minerals.High temperature and strong acidity will dissolve more iron from amphibole,which is conducive to chlorite growth.Compared to chlorite,griffithite is more sensitive to temperature.Griffithite attaches on the amphibole surface with a star-like in a weak acid and low-temperature environment.The results of this study can provide a mineralogical basis for the analysis of hydrothermal alteration processes and the division of alteration zones.LI Yongli HUANG Fei GAO Wenyuan TANG Xu REN Yaqun MENG Lin ZHANG Zhibin 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6:0
