| 1 | ANALYSIS OF MECHANICS IN BALL SPINNING OF THIN-WALLED TUBE显示文摘Ball spinning is applied to manufacturing thin-walled tube with high precision and high mechanical properties. On the basis of plastic mechanics,by simplifying ball spinning of thin-walled tube as plane strain problem,slab method is used for the purpose of calculating the contact deformation pressure. The spinning force components,the torsional moment,the deformation power and the deformation work are calculated further as well. The influence of the two important process parameters such as the feed ratio and the ball diameter on the spinning force components is analyzed in order to further control the spinning force components by regulating the two process variables during the ball spinning process. The stress and strain state in deformable zone as well as mechanics boundary conditions in ball spinning are obtained. The effect of the three spinning force components on the formability of the spun part is analyzed and validated through the ball spinning experiments. The theoretical and experimental results show that the radial spinning component plays a significant role in ball spinning of thin-walled tube,and the mechanics situation in backward ball spinning contributes to enhancing the plasticity of the metal material,but that in forward ball spinning contributes to advancing the axial flow of the metal material. | JIANG Shuyong REN Zhengyi | 2008 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2008,21,1: | 18 |
| 2 | Point attention network for point cloud semantic segmentation显示文摘We address the point cloud semantic segmentation problem through modeling long-range dependencies based on the self-attention mechanism.Existing semantic segmentation models generally focus on local feature aggregation.By comparison,we propose a point attention network(PA-Net)to selectively extract local features with long-range dependencies.We specially devise two complementary attention modules for the point cloud semantic segmentation task.The attention modules adaptively integrate the semantic inter-dependencies with long-range dependencies.Our point attention module adaptively integrates local features of the last layer of the encoder with a weighted sum of the long-range dependency features.Regardless of the distance of similar features,they are all correlated with each other.Meanwhile,the feature attention module adaptively integrates inter-dependent feature maps among all local features in the last layer of the encoder.Extensive results prove that our two attention modules together improve the performance of semantic segmentation on point clouds.We achieve better semantic segmentation performance on two benchmark point cloud datasets(i.e.,S3DIS and Scan Net).Particularly,the Io U on 11 semantic categories of S3DIS is significantly boosted. | Dayong REN Zhengyi WU Jiawei LI Piaopiao YU Jie GUO Mingqiang WEI Yanwen GUO | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,9: | 2 |

| 10 | Mass Spectrometry Analysis of Newly Emerging Coronavirus HCoV-19 Spike Protein and Human ACE2 Reveals Camouflaging Glycans and Unique Post-Translational Modifications显示文摘The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has led to worldwide efforts to understand the biological traits of the newly identified human coronavirus(HCoV-19)virus.In this mass spectrometry(MS)-based study,we reveal that out of 21 possible glycosites in the HCoV-19 spike protein(S protein),20 are completely occupied by N-glycans,predominantly of the oligomannose type.All seven glycosylation sites in human angiotensin I converting enzyme 2(hACE2)were found to be completely occupied,mainly by complex N-glycans.However,glycosylation did not directly contribute to the binding affinity between HCoV-19 S protein and hACE2.Additional post-translational modification(PTM)was identified,including multiple methylated sites in both proteins and multiple sites with hydroxylproline in hACE2.Refined structural models of HCoV-19 S protein and hACE2 were built by adding N-glycan and PTMs to recently published cryogenic electron microscopy structures.The PTM and glycan maps of HCoV-19 S protein and hACE2 provide additional structural details for studying the mechanisms underlying host attachment and the immune response of HCoV-19,as well as knowledge for developing desperately needed remedies and vaccines. | Zeyu Sun Keyi Ren Xing Zhang Jinghua Chen Zhengyi Jiang Jing Jiang Feiyang Ji Xiaoxi Ouyang Lanjuan Li | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,10: | 0 |
