| 1 | Adverse events with bismuth salts for Helicobacter pylori eradication:Systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘AIM: To assess the safety of bismuth used in Helico- bacter pylori (H pylori) eradication therapy regimens. METHODS: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis. MEDLINE and EMBASE were searched (up to October 2007) to identify randomised controlled tri- als comparing bismuth with placebo or no treatment, or bismuth salts in combination with antibiotics as part of eradication therapy with the same dose and duration of antibiotics alone or, in combination, with acid suppres- sion. Total numbers of adverse events were recorded. Data were pooled and expressed as relative risks with 95% confidence intervals (CI). RESULTS: We identified 35 randomised controlled tri- als containing 4763 patients. There were no serious adverse events occurring with bismuth therapy. There was no statistically significant difference detected in total adverse events with bismuth [relative risk (RR) = 1.01; 95% CI: 0.87-1.16], specific individual adverse events, with the exception of dark stools (RR = 5.06; 95% CI: 1.59-16.12), or adverse events leading to withdrawal of therapy (RR = 0.86; 95% CI: 0.54-1.37). CONCLUSION: Bismuth for the treatment of H pylori is safe and well-tolerated. | 3 | RESEARCH ON THE EVALUATION METHOD OF FRICTION AND LUBRICATION IN DEEP DRAWING显示文摘The deformation characteristic of bland in deep drawing is discussed. It is pointed out that the friction and lubrication conditions in for drawing are different from that in mechanical motion or machine work or other plastic process. The common test methods in laboratories are analyzed. It shows that though all those test methods can test the friction coefficient, the probe test method is most suitable for the research of friction and lubrication and the process in deep drawing, for this method is identical with the actual work condition either from the test principle or deformation status of the blank. | 5 | Early plasmapheresis and rituximab for acute humoral rejection after ABO-compatible liver transplantation显示文摘Acute humoral rejection (AHR) is uncommon after ABO-compatible liver transplantation. Herein, we report two cases of AHR treated with plasmapheresis and rituximab in two ABO-compatible liver-transplant patients with preformed anti-human leukocyte antigen donor-specif ic antibodies. Patient 1 experienced a biopsy-proven AHR at day 10 post-transplant. She was treated by steroid pulses, and OKT3. Because of persisting signs of biopsy-proven AHR at day 26, she was treated by plasmapheresis and rituximab. Liver enzyme levels did not improve, and she died on day 41. Patient 2 experienced a biopsy-proven AHR on day 10 post-transplant. She was treated by steroid pulses, plasmapheresis, and rituximab. Liver enzymes returned to within normal range 18 d after diagnosis. Liver biopsies, at 3 and 9 mo post-transplant, showed complete resolution of AHR. We conclude that plasmapheresis should be started as soon as AHR is diagnosed, and be associated with a B-cell depleting agent. | 6 | Influence of dissolved organic matter character on mercury incorporation by planktonic organisms: An experimental study using oligotrophic water from Patagonian lakes显示文摘Ligands present in dissolved organic matter(DOM) form complexes with inorganic divalent mercury(Hg2+) afecting its bioavailability in pelagic food webs. This investigation addresses the influence of a natural gradient of DOM present in Patagonian lakes on the bioaccumulation of Hg2+(the prevailing mercury species in the water column of these lakes) by the algae Cryptomonas erosa and the zooplankters Brachionus calyciflorus and Boeckella antiqua. Hg2+accumulation was studied through laboratory experiments using natural water of four oligotrophic Patagonian lakes amended with197Hg2+. The bioavailability of Hg2+was afected by the concentration and character of DOM. The entrance of Hg2+into pelagic food webs occurs mostly through passive and active accumulation. The incorporation of Hg2+by Cryptomonas, up to 27% of the Hg2+amended, was found to be rapid and dominated by passive adsorption,and was greatest when low molecular weight compounds with protein-like or small phenolic signatures prevailed in the DOM.Conversely, high molecular weight compounds with a humic or fulvic signature kept Hg2+in the dissolved phase, resulting in the lowest Hg2+accumulation in this algae. In Brachionus and Boeckella the direct incorporation of Hg from the aqueous phase was up to3% of the Hg2+amended. The dietary incorporation of Hg2+by Boeckella exceeded the direct absorption of this metal in natural water,and was remarkably similar to the Hg2+adsorbed in their prey. | 9 | Prognostic impact of body mass index on in-hospital bleeding complications after ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction显示文摘BACKGROUND ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)remains a major cause of mortality despite early revascularization and optimal medical therapy.Tailoring individual management by considering patients’specificities may help in improving post-STEMI survival.AIM To evaluate whether in-hospital bleeding complications may be involved in post STEMI prognosis among overweight patients.METHODS We prospectively included 2070 patients with a STEMI between January 2005 and December 2012 in the French observational cohort,“Registre d’Infarctus Maine-Anjou”.Bleeding Academic Research Consortium(BARC)in-hospital bleeding complications were recorded.RESULTS Of 705 patients(35.3%)were presented as being of normal weight,defined as a body mass index(BMI)<25 kg/m^2,877(43.9%)had a BMI between 25 and 30 kg/m^2and 416(20.8%)had a BMI≥30 kg/m^2.One-year cardiovascular mortality was lower for BMI≥25 kg/m^2(5.3%and 7.1%)patients than for normal weight patients(10.8%)(P=0.001).We found an interaction between the effect of BARC 3 on mortality and BMI groups.While a BARC 3 was related to a higher 1-year mortality in general(HR:2.58,95%CI:1.44-4.64,P≤0.001),prognosis was even worse in normal weight patients(HR:2.97,95%CI:1.61-5.5,P<0.001)than for patients with a BMI≥25 kg/m^2(HR:1.94,95%CI:1.02-3.69,P=0.041).CONCLUSION Normal weight patients presented higher rates of in-hospital bleeding complications and lower survival after a STEMI.Excess mortality might be due to greater vulnerability to bleeding amongst normal weight patients. | Delphine Ingremeau Sylvain Grall Florine Valliet Laurent Desprets Fabrice Prunier Alain Furber Loïc Bière | 2020 | World Journal of Cardiology2020，12，1： | 2 |
