| 1 | 一例罕见的子宫原始神经外胚层瘤病例报道(英文)显示文摘Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) of uterus is the rare of the rarest among the tumors of female genital tract. We herein reported a 32 years old female operated for lower abdominal lump,which was diagnosed,as PNET later confirmed by immunohistochemistry (IHC). She was lost to follow-up and presented 10 months later with recurrence. | 2 | Andrographolide as a potent and promising antiviral agent显示文摘Andrographolide is a labdane diterpenoid extracted and purified from the aerial parts of plants belonging to genus Andrographis(Acanthaceae).The research has shown the plant based compound is low cytotoxic,having antimicrobial,anti-cancer,antiviral and anti-parasitic effects.Andrographolide both prevent spread as well as transmission of virus to neighboring cells by interfering with different cell signaling pathways.In addition to its medicinal value,plant has been found having nutritional value.Therefore being cost effective,easy availability and having nutritional value as a natural supplement,can be used to improve the quality of life in countries having low standard of living.Due to the limited number of effective vaccines,the plant-based antiviral drugs have provided considerable hope for fighting against the viral infections.The plant-derived compound when produced in large quantities is cost effective with low cytotoxic effects.However,much deep insight research at the molecular level is needed to develop the molecules against the viral infection.This paper aims to highlight the antiviral role of Andrographolide that can made significant contributions toward the improvement of human health and will also summarize the current status and future strategies concerning the therapeutic applications of Andrographolide to combat different viral disease in humans. | Latif Reshi Wang Chi-Yong | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2020,18,10: | 2 |

| 11 | A cross-city molecular biogeographic investigation of arbuscular mycorrhizas in Conyza canadensis rhizosphere across native and non-native regions显示文摘Introduction:The ecological processes underlying the suppressive impacts of invasive species on native species diversity,both above-and below-ground,in non-native regions are not well understood.We therefore aimed to investigate the cross-city biogeographic patterns of arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)diversity in Conyza canadensis rhizosphere in native(North American)and non-native(Kashmir Himalayan)regions.Methods:We recovered AMF spores from rhizospheric soils of Conyza in native and non-native ranges,besides doing so from the uninvaded sites in the introduced region.DNA extracted from AMF spores was processed for cloning and PCR-RFLP of SSU rRNA gene to yield the restriction groups(RGs)followed by their sequence analysis to determine the sequence groups(SGs).Results:The results indicated greater diversity of RGs and SGs in Conyza rhizosphere in native than in non-native sites.In the introduced region,however,the AMF diversity was more in uninvaded than in invaded sites.The species composition of AMF varied significantly between native and non-native regions and so also between invaded and uninvaded habitats.Conclusions:Though difference in AMF diversity between Conyza invaded and uninvaded sites may be attributed to invasion,the role of other evolutionary factors seems likely for differences between the native and non-native regions.We suggest that the ecological processes underlying these evolutionary differences in two biogeographic regions,besides the intensity of urbanization,might play some role in these differences. | Manzoor A Shah Marie-Eve Beaulieu Zafar A Reshi Salman Qureshi Damase P Khasa | 2015 | Ecological Processes2015,4,1: | 1 |
