| 1 | A novel synthesis strategy to improve cycle stability of LiNio.8Mno.1Co0.1O2 at high cut-off voltages through core-shell structuring显示文摘Nickel-rich cathode materials have attracted considerable interest because of their high specific capacities,voltage ranges,and low cost.However,serious capacity attenuation and poor rate performance limit their application.This study proposes a novel strategy to improve the cycle stability of the nickel-rich LiNi0.sCo0.1Mn0.1O2(NCM811)layer material by designing core-shell LiNio.sCoo.1 Mno.102(CS-NCM811).CS-NCM811 is designed by the characteristic reaction between dimethylglyoxime(C4H8N2O2)and nickel ion to form Ni(C4H7N2O2)2-The CS-NCM811 is characterized with high nickel content in its core and high manganese content on its surface,leading to a high capacity and excellent cycle stability.The capacity retention of CS-NCM811 was 72.8%,much higher than that of NCM811(47.1%)after 500 cycles at a rate of 5 C.Not only is this method a no vel strategy to desig n high capacity cathode materials but also provides some new in sights into the cycle stability of nickel-rich layered cathode materials. | Kang Wu Qi Li Rongbin Dang Xin Deng Minmin Chen Yu Lin Lee Xiaoling Xiao Zhongbo Hu | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,10: | 12 |
| 2 | Albedo of Coastal Landfast Sea Ice in Prydz Bay,Antarctica:Observations and Parameterization显示文摘The snow/sea-ice albedo was measured over coastal landfast sea ice in Prydz Bay, East Antarctica(off Zhongshan Station)during the austral spring and summer of 2010 and 2011. The variation of the observed albedo was a combination of a gradual seasonal transition from spring to summer and abrupt changes resulting from synoptic events, including snowfall, blowing snow, and overcast skies. The measured albedo ranged from 0.94 over thick fresh snow to 0.36 over melting sea ice. It was found that snow thickness was the most important factor influencing the albedo variation, while synoptic events and overcast skies could increase the albedo by about 0.18 and 0.06, respectively. The in-situ measured albedo and related physical parameters(e.g., snow thickness, ice thickness, surface temperature, and air temperature) were then used to evaluate four different snow/ice albedo parameterizations used in a variety of climate models. The parameterized albedos showed substantial discrepancies compared to the observed albedo, particularly during the summer melt period, even though more complex parameterizations yielded more realistic variations than simple ones. A modified parameterization was developed,which further considered synoptic events, cloud cover, and the local landfast sea-ice surface characteristics. | 3 | The association between the genetic polymorphisms of LMP2/LMP7 and the outcomes of HCV infection among drug users显示文摘Objective:To investigate a possible association of LMP2/LMP7 genes with chronic hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection,and to assess whether LMP2/LMP7 genes could influence the outcomes of HCV infection among drug users.Methods:Genomic DNAs of 362 anti-HCV sero-positive drug users and 225 control drug users were extracted from the peripheral blood leukocytes.The sero-positive patients were divided into those who had persistent infection and those who had spontaneously cleared the infection.Polymorphisms of LMP genes were determined by PCR combined with restriction fragment length polymorphism(RFLP).Results:The distribution of LMP2 genotypes among the control,persistent infection and spontaneous clearance groups were not different.However,the LMP7 codon 145 Gln/Lys,Lys/Lys,and Gln/Lys+Lys/Lys genotypes were found significantly more frequent in the persistent infection group than in control group(OR=1.75,95%CI=1.06~2.90;OR=3.16,95%CI=1.23-8.12;OR=1.94,95%CI=1.21-3.12,respectively).Similarly,the frequencies of the codon 145 Gln/Lys,Lys/Lys,and Gln/Lys+Lys/Lys genotypes were found significantly more frequent in the persistent infection group than in the spontaneous clearance group(OR=1.64,95%CI=1.04-2.57;OR=2.40,95%CI=1.09-5.28;OR=1.76,95%CI=1.152.69,respectively).Stratified analysis indicated that combined genotype Gln/Lys+Lys/Lys of the LMP7 gene was related to an increasing susceptibility to HCV infection(OR=1.91,95%CI=1.02-3.55;OR=2.19,95%CI=1.243.89;OR=1.91,95%CI=1.05-3.48,OR=2.86,95%CI=1.41-5.78,respectively)and the risk of persistent HCV infection(OR=1.94,95%CI=1.12-3.34;OR=2.02,95%CI=1.21-3.38;OR=1.78,95%CI=1.12-2.85,OR=2.23,95%CI=1.09-4.58,respectively)among>30-year-old,males,the injection drug user(IDU)subjects and/or the shorter duration drug users(≤5 y).Conclusion:These results suggest that polymorphism of the LMP7 gene may have an influence on the outcomes of HCV infection,and is one of the factors accounting for the genetic susceptibility to HCV infection among drug users. | Qian Cui Yongxiang Zhang Jing Su Chao Shi Na Lei Keqin Ding Jun Li Rongbin Yu L u Wang Ning Wang | 2010 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,5: | 6 |
| 4 | 3D macropore carbon-vacancy g-C_(3)N_(4) constructed using polymethylmethacrylate spheres for enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) evolution and CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Metal-free g-C_3N_4 is widely used in photocatalytic reactions owing to its suitable band structure.However, it has low specific surface area and insufficient absorbance for visible light, and its photoexcited carriers have high recombination rates. In this study, the 3 D macropore C-vacancy g-C_3N_4 was prepared through a facile one-step route. Polymethylmethacrylate is used as a template to increase the surface reaction sites of g-C_3N_4 and extend its visible-light range. Compared to unmodified g-C_3N_4, the H2 production and CO_2 reduction rates of the fabricated g-C_3N_4 significantly improved. The special pore structure significantly improved the light utilization efficiency of g-C_3N_4 and increased the number of surface-active sites. The introduction of C-vacancy extended the absorption band of visible-light and suppressed the carrier recombination. | 7 | Effects of reduction temperature and content of Pd loading on the performance Pd/CeO2 catalyst for CO oxidation显示文摘The content of noble metal loading and the reduction process of the catalysts are important factors influence the economic indicator and catalytic performance for industrial catalysis. In the present work, Pd/CeO2NT (Pd supported on the CeO2 nanotubes) catalysts are prepared with the hydrothermal synthesized CeO2NT and glutathione (GSH) reduced Pd nanoparticles via impregnation. The content of Pd loading as well as the catalysts reduction temperature are optimized to the CO oxidation reduction. Our results show that the best Pd loading is 1.5%Pd/CeO2NT. The catalysts reduced at 350 ℃ for 2 h prior to catalytic reaction perform the best toward CO oxidation, which reaches completely CO conversion at 70 ℃. | 12 | Functional traits of poplar leaves and fine roots responses to ozone pollution under soil nitrogen addition显示文摘Concurrent ground-level ozone(O_(3))pollution and anthropogenic nitrogen(N)deposition can markedly influence dynamics and productivity in forests.Most studies evaluating the functional traits responses of rapid-turnover organs to O_(3) have specifically examined leaves,despite fine roots are another major source of soil carbon and nutrient input in forest ecosystems.How elevated O_(3) levels impact fine root biomass and biochemistry remains to be resolved.This study was to assess poplar leaf and fine root biomass and biochemistry responses to five different levels of O_(3) pollution,while additionally examining whether four levels of soil N supplementation were sufficient to alter the impact of O_(3) on these two organs.Elevated O_(3) resulted in a more substantial reduction in fine root biomass than leafbiomass;relative to leaves,more biochemically-resistant components were present within fine root litter,which contained high concentrations of lignin,condensed tannins,and elevated C:N and lignin:N ratios that were associated with slower rates of litter decomposition.In contrast,leaves contained more labile components,including nonstructural carbohydrates and N,as well as a higher N:P ratio.Elevated O_(3) significantly reduced labile components and increased biochemically-resistant components in leaves,whereas they had minimal impact on fine root biochemistry.This suggests that O_(3) pollution has the potential to delay leaf litter decomposition and associated nutrient cycling.N addition largely failed to affect the impact of elevated O_(3) levels on leaves or fine root chemistry,suggesting that soil N supplementation is not a suitable approach to combating the impact of O_(3) pollution on key functional traits of poplars.These results indicate that the significant differences in the responses of leaves and fine roots to O_(3) pollution will result in marked changes in the relative belowground roles of these two litter sources within forest ecosystems,and such changes will independently of nitrogen load. | Pin Li Rongbin Yin Huimin Zhou Sheng Xu Zhaozhong Feng | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,3: | 1 |
