Design and experiment on intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters显示文摘When sowing summer corn without tillage,it is necessary to ensure that the furrow opener is free from straw congestion and that the spacing of the sowing can be adjusted according to the breeds of corn and the preset seeding rate per acre.On the basis of the structural features of newly developed no-tillage corn fertilizers,an intelligent fuzzy monitoring system for corn planters was developed in this study. The system facilitates automatic control of the spacing adjustment and the status monitor for the fertilizer tank, seed tank, and seeding orifice.According to the preset number of rows, line spacing, number of plants per acre, and seed germination rate, the control rate can be calculated through designing in surveillance software. The control rate is output to the fuzzy controller through the digital output module of the CAN bus.Fuzzy control is applied to the DC motor for stepless adjustment of the spacing.A system for video surveillance of the working status of a planter is developed for displaying a real-time video image of the planter operation and achieving an anti-congestion status monitoring of a no-tillage planting operation in a dusty environment.Through field trials, the detection accuracy was 91.4%.The seed-clogging fault-alarm accuracy was 96.0%.The entire system remained stable and reliable. | Du Ruicheng Gong Bingcai Liu Ningning Wang Chenchen Yang Zidong Ma Mingjian | 2013 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2013,6,3: | 16

Measurement and prediction of tomato canopy apparent photosynthetic rate显示文摘Given the lack of technical conditions and research methods, instruments that can measure the canopy apparent photosynthetic rate have low precision and are rarely studied.Comparative studies on canopy apparent photosynthetic rate and single leaf photosynthetic rate are also relatively few. This study aims to measure and predict the canopy apparent photosynthetic rate of tomato.A canopy apparent photosynthetic rate measuring system, which was comprised of a wireless sensor network(WSN),an assimilation chamber, and a LI-6400XT photosynthetic rate instrument was established. The system was used to determine the greenhouse environmental parameters and CO2 absorptive capacity of the whole growth stage of tomato.A semi-closed assimilation chamber was designed as a side opening to conveniently measure the canopy apparent photosynthetic rate.WSN nodes were placed in the chamber to monitor environmental parameters, including air temperature, air humidity, and assimilation chamber temperature.A grid and pixel conversion method was used to measure the whole plant leaf areas of tomato. As a semi-closed measurement system, the assimilation chamber was used to calculate the canopy apparent photosynthetic rate.To conduct a comparative research on the canopy apparent photosynthetic rate and the single leaf photosynthetic rate, the LI-6400XT portable photosynthesis system was used to measure the single leaf photosynthetic rate, and the support vector machine was used to establish the prediction model of canopy apparent photosynthetic rate. The experimental results indicated that the correlation coefficients of the photosynthesis prediction model in the seeding and flowering stages were 0.9420 and 0.9226,respectively,showing the high accuracy of the SVM model. | Jian Yin Xinying Liu Yanlong Miao Yang Gao Ruicheng Qiu Man Zhang Han Li Minzan Li | 2019 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5: | 1

Expression profiles of east–west highly differentiated genes in Uyghur genomes显示文摘It remains unknown and debatable how European-Asian–differentiated alleles affect individual phenotypes. Here,we made the first effort to analyze the expression profiles of highly differentiated genes with eastern and western origins in 90 Uyghurs using whole-genome(30×to 60×)and transcriptome data.We screened 921872 east–west highly differentiated genetic variants,of which~4.32%were expression quantitative trait loci(e QTLs),~0.12%were alternative splicing quantitative trait loci(s QTLs),and~0.12%showed allele-specific expression(ASE).The 8305 highly differentiated eQTLs of strong effects appear to have undergone natural selection, associated with immunity and metabolism.European-origin alleles tend to be more biasedly expressed;highly differentiated ASEs were enriched in diabetes-associated genes, likely affecting the diabetes susceptibility in the Uyghurs. We proposed an admixture-induced expression model to dissect the highly differentiated expression profiles. We provide new insights into the genetic basis of phenotypic differentiation between Western and Eastern populations, advancing our understanding of the impact of genetic admixture. | Zhilin Ning Xinjiang Tan Yuan Yuan Ke Huang Yuwen Pan Lei Tian Yan Lu Xiaoji Wang Ruicheng Qi Dongsheng Lu Yajun Yang Yaqun Guan Dolikun Mamatyusupu Shuhua Xu | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,4: | 0
The effect of surface-free energy and microstructure on the condensation mechanism of water vapor显示文摘Obtaining high-water-yield drinking water in arid areas without consuming energy is still a global challenge.Since water vapor is ubiquitous, atmospheric water harvesting technologies are undoubtedly one of the most promising candidates.A typical water condensation process is analyzed in this paper(nucleation,self-growth,coalescence and sliding). The mechanisms of interactions between adsorbate and water vapor are discussed. The effect of surface-free energy and microstructure on water vapor condensation is described. Finally, the main problems in developing more efficient,high-water-mass and high-cycle-stability atmospheric water collectors are summarized, and the future development trend has been prospected. | Shangsheng Zhang Shuman Xu Yang Liu Ruicheng Lei Tianli Guo Yao Yao Shangyu Gao Jun Ding Zengzhi Zhang | 2023 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2023,33,1: | 0

Root-associated endophytic fungi modulate endogenous auxin and cytokinin levels to improve plant biomass and root morphology of trifoliate orange显示文摘Root-associated endophytic fungi like Serendipita indica and arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM) fungi can improve plant growth and root construction, but the potential mechanism is unclear. In this study, Funneliformis mosseae(an AM fungus) and S. indica, singly or in combination were inoculated into trifoliate orange(Poncirus trifoliata) seedlings, to assess changes in biomass and root morphological traits, coupled with auxins and cytokinins concentrations in leaves and roots and the expression of auxin synthesis and transporter protein genes. After 20 weeks of inoculation with these fungi, shoot and root biomass, root total length, taproot length, average diameter, surface area, volume, and the number of lateral roots in 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-order were improved, and S. indica showed a relatively greater effect than F. mosseae and dual inoculation. Endophytic fungal inoculation also significantly increased the concentration of indoleacetic acid, indole butyric acid, trans-zeatin,dihydrozeatin, and isopentenyl adenine in leaves and roots, whilst F. mosseae and S. indica exhibited relatively greater effects on leaves and roots, respectively. Correlation analysis revealed that both biomass and root morphological traits(except root projected area) were significantly positively associated with endogenous auxins and cytokinins. In addition, the inoculated plants recorded comparatively higher expression levels of indoleacetic acid synthesis genes(PtTAA1, PtTAR2, PtYUC3, PtYUC4, PtYUC6, and PtYUC8) and indoleacetic acid transporter protein genes(PtAUX1, PtLAX1, PtLAX2, PtLAX3, PtPIN1, PtPIN3, PtPIN4, PtABCB1, and PtABCB19) than the non-inoculated plants, among which F. mosseae and S. indica showed better effects in leaves and roots, respectively. These results suggest that root-associated endophytic fungi improved plant growth and root architecture, which were associated with changes in endogenous auxins and cytokinins. | Ruicheng Liu Liu Yang Yingning Zou Qiangsheng Wu | 2023 | Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,3: | 0
A new generation M^(pro)inhibitor with potent activity against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variants显示文摘Emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants, particularly the Omicron variant and its sublineages, continually threaten the global public health.Small molecule antivirals are an effective treatment strategy to fight against the virus. However, the first-generation antivirals eithershow limited clinical efficacy and/or have some defects in pharmacokinetic (PK) properties. Moreover, with increased use of thesedrugs across the globe, they face great pressure of drug resistance. We herein present the discovery and characterization of a newgeneration antiviral drug candidate (SY110), which is a potent and selective inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro). Thiscompound displayed potent in vitro antiviral activity against not only the predominant SARS-CoV-2 Omicron sublineage BA.5, butalso other highly pathogenic human coronaviruses including SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV. In the Omicron-infected K18-hACE2mouse model, oral treatment with SY110 significantly lowered the viral burdens in lung and alleviated the virus-induced pathology.Importantly, SY110 possesses favorable PK properties with high oral drug exposure and oral bioavailability, and also an outstandingsafety profile. Furthermore, SY110 exhibited sensitivity to several drug-resistance Mpro mutations. Collectively, this investigationprovides a promising new drug candidate against Omicron and other variants of SARS-CoV-2. | Chong Huang Huiping Shuai Jingxin Qiao Yuxin Hou Rui Zeng Anjie Xia Lingwan Xie Zhen Fang Yueyue Li Chaemin Yoon Qiao Huang Bingjie Hu Jing You Baoxue Quan Xiu Zhao Nihong Guo Shiyu Zhang Ronggang Ma Jiahao Zhang Yifei Wang Ruicheng Yang Shanshan Zhang Jinshan Nan Haixing Xu Falu Wang Jian Lei Hin Chu Shengyong Yang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 0
