1Lanthanide coordinated multicolor fluorescent polymeric hydrogels for bio-inspired shape/color switchable actuation through local diffusion of Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+)ions显示文摘Lanthanide coordinated multicolor fluorescent polymeric hydrogels(MFPHs)are quite promising for various applications because of their sharp fluorescence bands and high color purity.However,few attempts have been carried out to locally regulate their fluorescence switching or shape deforming behaviors,but such studies are very useful for patterned materials with disparate functions.Herein,the picolinate moieties that can sensitize Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+)luminescence via antenna effect were chemically introduced into interpenetrating double networks to produce a robust kind of lanthanide coordinated MFPHs.Upon varying the doping ratio of Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+),fluorescence colors of the obtained hydrogels were continuously regulated from green to orange and then red.Importantly,spatial fluorescence color control within the hydrogel matrix could be facilely realized by controlled diffusion of Tb^(3+)/Eu^(3+)ions,producing a number of 2D hydrogel objects with local multicolor fluorescent patterns.Furthermore,the differential swelling capacities between the fluorescent patterned and non-fluorescent parts led to interesting 2D-to-3D shape deformation to give well-defined multicolor fluorescent 3D hydrogel configurations.Based on these results,bio-inspired synergistic color/shape changeable actuators were demonstrated.The present study provided a promising strategy to achieve the local fluorescence and shape control within lanthanide coordinated hydrogels,and is expected to be expanded for fabricating useful patterned materials with disparate functions.Ruijia Wang Wei Lu Yi Zhang Wanning Li Wenqin Wang Tao Chen 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:2

3High-Performance Blue Quasi-2D Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes via Balanced Carrier Confinement and Transfer显示文摘Extensive investigation of the passivating agents has been performed to suppress the perovskite defects.However,very few attentions have been paid to rationally design the passivating agents for the balance of the carrier confinement and transfer in quasi-2D perovskites,which is essential to achieve high-performance perovskite LEDs(PeLEDs).In this work,tributylphosphine oxide(TBPO)with moderate carbon chain length is demonstrated as a decent passivator for the quasi-2D perovskites by strengthening the carrier confinement for massive radiative recombination within the perovskites,and more importantly providing efficient carrier transfer in the quasi-2D perovskites.Benefiting from these interesting optoelectronic properties of TBPO-incorporated perovskites,we achieve high-efficient blue PeLEDs with an external quantum efficiency up to 11.5%and operational stability as long as 41.1 min without any shift of the electroluminescence spectra.Consequently,this work contributes an effective approach to promote the carrier confinement and transfer for high-performance and stable blue PeLEDs.Zhenwei Ren Jiayun Sun Jiahao Yu Xiangtian Xiao Zhaojin Wang Ruijia Zhang Kai Wang Rui Chen Yu Chen Wallace C.H.Choy 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,4:1
4Deep learning model improves radiologists'performance in detection and classification of breast lesions显示文摘Objective:Computer-aided diagnosis using deep learning algorithms has been initially applied in the field of mammography,but there is no large-scale clinical application.Methods:This study proposed to develop and verify an artificial intelligence model based on mammography.Firstly,mammograms retrospectively collected from six centers were randomized to a training dataset and a validation dataset for establishing the model.Secondly,the model was tested by comparing 12 radiologists’performance with and without it.Finally,prospectively enrolled women with mammograms from six centers were diagnosed by radiologists with the model.The detection and diagnostic capabilities were evaluated using the freeresponse receiver operating characteristic(FROC)curve and ROC curve.Results:The sensitivity of model for detecting lesions after matching was 0.908 for false positive rate of 0.25 in unilateral images.The area under ROC curve(AUC)to distinguish the benign lesions from malignant lesions was0.855[95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.830,0.880].The performance of 12 radiologists with the model was higher than that of radiologists alone(AUC:0.852 vs.0.805,P=0.005).The mean reading time of with the model was shorter than that of reading alone(80.18 s vs.62.28 s,P=0.032).In prospective application,the sensitivity of detection reached 0.887 at false positive rate of 0.25;the AUC of radiologists with the model was 0.983(95%CI:0.978,0.988),with sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),and negative predictive value(NPV)of94.36%,98.07%,87.76%,and 99.09%,respectively.Conclusions:The artificial intelligence model exhibits high accuracy for detecting and diagnosing breast lesions,improves diagnostic accuracy and saves time.Yingshi Sun Yuhong Qu Dong Wang Yi Li Lin Ye Jingbo Du Bing Xu Baoqing Li Xiaoting Li Kexin Zhang Yanjie Shi Ruijia Sun Yichuan Wang Rong Long Dengbo Chen Haijiao Li Liwei Wang Min Cao 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,6:1
5Coal rock image recognition method based on improved CLBP and receptive field theory显示文摘Rapid coal-rock identification is one of the key technologies for intelligent and unmanned coal mining.Currently,the existing image recognition algorithms cannot satisfy practical needs in terms of recognition speed and accuracy.In view of the evident differences between coal and rock in visual attributes such as color,gloss and texture,the complete local binary pattern(CLBP)image feature descriptor is introduced for coal and rock image recognition.Given that the original algorithm oversimplifies local texture features by ignoring imaging information from higher-order pixels and the concave and convex areas between adjacent sampling points,this paper proposes a higher-order differential median CLBP image feature descriptor to replace the original CLBP center pixel gray with a local gray median,and replace the binary differential with a second-order differential.Meanwhile,for the high dimensionality of CLBP descriptor histogram and feature redundancy,deep learning perceptual field theory is introduced to realize data nonlinear dimensionality reduction and deep feature extraction.With relevant experiments conducted,the following conclusion can be drawn:(1)Compared with that of the original CLBP,the recognition accuracy of the improved CLBP algorithm is greatly improved and finally stabilized above 94.3%under strong noise interference;(2)Compared with that of the original CLBP model,the single image recognition time of the coal rock image recognition model fusing the improved CLBP and the receptive field theory is 0.0035 s,a reduction of 71.0%;compared with the improved CLBP model(without the fusion of receptive field theory),it can shorten the recognition time by 97.0%,but the accuracy rate still maintains more than 98.5%.The method offers a valuable technical reference for the fields of mineral development and deep mining.Chuanmeng Sun Ruijia Xu Chong Wang Tiehua Ma Jiaxin Chen 2022Deep Underground Science and Engineering2022,1,2:0
6A green and efficient strategy facilitates continuous solar-induced steam generation based on tea-assisted synthesis of gold nanoflowers显示文摘Developing a highly efficient system for solar steam generation(SSG)using a straightforward and eco-friendly method to harvest freshwater is fascinating but challenging.Here,we stir the mixture of brewed tea and HAuCl4 to prepare Au nanoflowers,possessing broad wavelength light absorption and excellent photothermal effects.After freeze-drying the mixture of Au nanoflowers,cellulose nanocrystals(CNCs),and aqueous polyurethane(PU)emulsion,we obtain three-dimensional(3D)porous structures(CNC-PU-Au)for SSG.The whole process does not involve any sophisticated procedure or produce detrimental byproducts.The evaporation rates are 2.24 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1) for pure water and 2.18 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1) for seawater using CNC-PU-Au under one sun.The solar energy conversion efficiency is up to 90.92%under one sun illumination.Besides,CNC-PU-Au shows self-driven salt resistance and durability.In outdoors application for seawater desalination,the maximum evaporation rate can maintain at 2.19 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1) in spring and 3.42 kg·m^(−2)·h^(−1) in summer.These unique features promise the utility of CNC-PU-Au in the ecofriendly water treatment industry.Guoshuai Zhu Gaoxing Jing Guorong Xu Qiang Li Ruijia Huang Feng Li Haoxuan Li Dong Wang Wenwen Chen Ben Zhong Tang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
7A sustainable process to 100%bio-based nylons integrated chemical and biological conversion of lignocellulose显示文摘Considerable progress has been made in recent years to the development of sustainable polymers from bio-based feedstocks.In this study,100%bio-based nylons were prepared via an integrated chemical and biological process from lignocellulose.These novel nylons were obtained by the melt polymerization of 3-propyladipic acid derived from lignin and 1,5-pentenediamine/1,4-butanediamine derived from carbohydrate sugar.Central to the concept is a three-step noble metal free catalytic chemical funnelling sequence(Raney Ni mediated reductive catalytic fractionation-reductive funnelling-oxidative funnelling),which allowed for obtaining a single component 3-propyladipic acid from lignin with high efficiency.The structural and thermodynamic properties of the obtained nylons have been systematically investigated,and thus obtained transparent bio-based nylons exhibited higher Mw(>32,000)and excellent thermal stability(Td5%>265℃).Considering their moderate Tg and good melt strength,these transparent bio-based nylons could serve as promising functional additives or temperature-responsive materials.Ruijia Hu Ming Li Tao Shen Xin Wang Zhuohua Sun Xinning Bao Kequan Chen Kai Guo Lei Ji Hanjie Ying Pingkai Ouyang Chenjie Zhu 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,2:0

9Synergistic fluorescent hydrogel actuators with selective spatial shape/color-changing behaviors via interfacial supramolecular assembly显示文摘Biomimetic intelligent polymeric hydrogel actuators with cooperative fluorescence-color switchable behaviors are expected to find great potential applications in soft robotics,visual detection/display,and camouflage applications.However,it remains challenging to realize the spatial manipulation of synergistic shape/color-changing behaviors.Herein,we report an interfacial supramolecular assembly(ISA)approach that enables the construction of robust fluorescent polymeric hydrogel actuators with spatially anisotropic structures.On the basis of this ISA approach,diverse 2D/3D soft fluorescent hydrogel actuators,including chameleon-and octopi-shaped ones with spatially anisotropic structures,were facilely assembled from two different fluorescent hydrogel building blocks sharing the same physically cross-linked agar network.Spatially control over synergistic shape/color-changing behaviors was then realized in one single anisotropic hydrogel actuator.The proposed ISA approach is universal and expected to open promising avenues for developing powerful bioinspired intelligent soft actuators/robotics with selective spatial shape/color-changing behaviors.Wei Lu Ruijia Wang Muqing Si Yi Zhang Shuangshuang Wu Ning Zhu Wenqin Wang Tao Chen 2024SmartMat2024,5,2:0
