3BLT1 in dendritic cells promotes Th1/Th17 differentiation and its deficiency ameliorates TNBS-induced colitis显示文摘Leukotriene B4(LTB4)synthesis is enhanced in the colonic mucosa in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).BLT1,a highaffinity receptor for LTB4,exhibits no effect on the progression of dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced colitis,which mostly relies on innate immunity.Here,we reported that BLT1 regulates trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS)-induced colitis,which reflects CD4+T-cell-dependent adaptive immune mechanisms of IBD.We found that BLT1 signaling enhanced the progression of colitis through controlling the production of proinflammatory cytokines by dendritic cells(DCs)and modulating the differentiation of Th1 and Th17.BLT1−/−mice displayed an alleviated severity of TNBS-induced colitis with reduced body weight loss and infiltrating cells in the lamina propria.BLT1 deficiency in DCs led to reduced production of proinflammatory cytokines,including IL-6,TNF-α,and IL-12,and these results were further confirmed via treatment with a BLT1 antagonist.The impaired cytokine production by BLT1−/−DCs subsequently led to reduced Th1 and Th17 differentiation both in vitro and in vivo.We further performed a conditional DC reconstitution experiment to assess whether BLT1 in DCs plays a major role in regulating the pathogenesis of TNBS-induced colitis,and the results indicate that BLT1 deficiency in DCs also significantly reduces disease severity.The mechanistic study demonstrated that BLT1-regulated proinflammatory cytokine production through the Gαiβγsubunit-phospholipase Cβ(PLCβ)-PKC pathway.Notably,we found that treatment with the BLT1 antagonist also reduced the production of proinflammatory cytokines by human peripheral blood DCs.Our findings reveal the critical role of BLT1 in regulating adaptive immunity and TNBS-induced colitis,which further supports BLT1 as a potential drug target for adaptive immunity-mediated IBD.Jinfeng Zhou Weiming Lai Wanjie Yang Juping Pan Hu Shen Yingying Cai Cuixia Yang Ningjia Ma Yue Zhang Ru Zhang Xin Xie Zhongjun Dong Yuan Gao Changsheng Du 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,12:9

6White blood cell count and the incidence of hyperuricemia:insights from a community-based study显示文摘Hyperuricemia(HUA)is a risk factor for chronic kidney disease(CKD).The relationship between HUA and white blood cell(WBC)count remains unknown.A sampling survey for CKD was conducted in Sanlin community in 2012 and 2014.CKD was defined as proteinuria in at least the microalbuminuric stage or an estimated GFR of 60 mL/(min·1.73 m2).HUA was defined as serum uric acid>420µmol/L in men and>360µmol/L in women.This study included 1024 participants.The prevalence of HUA was 17.77%.Patients with HUA were more likely to have higher levels of WBC count,which was positively associated with HUA prevalence.This association was also observed in participants without CKD,diabetes mellitus,hyperlipidemia,or obesity.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that WBC count was independently associated with the risk for HUA in male and female participants.Compared with participants without HUA,inflammatory factors such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin 6 increased in participants with HUA.Hence,WBC count is positively associated with HUA,and this association is independent of conventional risk factors for CKD.Jian Liu Pingyan Shen Xiaobo Ma Xialian Yu Liyan Ni Xu Hao Weiming Wang Nan Chen 2019Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,6:3

8Uniform single atomic Cu_(1)-C_(4)sites anchored in graphdiyne for hydroxylation of benzene to phenol显示文摘For single-atom catalysts(SACs),the catalyst supports are not only anchors for single atoms,but also modulators for geometric and electronic structures,which determine their catalytic performance.Selecting an appropriate support to prepare SACs with uniform coordination environments is critical for achieving optimal performance and clarifying the relationship between the structure and the property of SACs.Approaching such a goal is still a significant challenge.Taking advantage of the strong d-πinteraction between Cu atoms and diacetylenic in a graphdiyne(GDY)support,we present an efficient and simple strategy for fabricating Cu single atoms anchored on GDY(Cu_(1)/GDY)with uniform Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites under mild conditions.The Cu atomic structure was confirmed by combining synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption spectroscopy,X-ray photoele ctron spectroscopy and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.The as-prepared Cu1/GDY exhibits much higher activity than state-of-the-art SACs in direct benzene oxidation to phenol with H_(2)O_(2)reaction,with turnover frequency values of 251 h^(-1)at room temperature and 1889 h^(-1)at 60℃,respectively.Furthermore,even with a high benzene conversion of86%,high phenol sele ctivity(96%)is maintaine d,which can be ascribed to the hydrophobic and oleophyllic surface nature of Cu1/GDY for benzene adsorption and phenol desorption.Both experiments and DFT calculations indicate that Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites are more effective at activating H_(2)O_(2)to form Cu=O bonds,which are important active intermediates for benzene oxidation to phenol.Jia Yu Changyan Cao Hongqiang Jin Weiming Chen Qikai Shen Peipei Li Lirong Zheng Feng He Weiguo Song Yuliang Li 2022National Science Review2022,9,9:3
9Validating the deep time carbonate carbon isotope records: effect of benthic flux on seafloor carbonate显示文摘It is a consensus that marine carbonate archives the isotopic composition of seawater dissolved inorganic carbon(DIC,δ13Csw),the largest active C reservoir in the hydrosphere.Carbonate carbon isotope(δ13Ccarb)excursions have been used to reflect perturbations of the global carbon cycle and related environmental change.However,the deep timeδ13Ccarb records indicate faster and more pronounced perturbations of the carbon cycle compared to the present day.Here,we reportδ13Ccarb and elemental compositions of Late Paleozoic carbonate sections from South China,showing negative correlations betweenδ13-Ccarb and Fe^(2+)content of carbonate(Fecarb).We suggest that,because Late Paleozoic carbonate was mainly produced by benthic carbonate-secreting organisms,δ13Ccarbrecorded the isotopic composition near the seafloor,where benthic flux derived from anaerobic organic matter degradation delivers both Fe2+and 13C-depleted DIC from porewater.The binary mixing between seawater and benthic flux would result in the deviation ofδ13Ccarb fromδ13Csw.The negative correlation implies thatδ13Ccarb is influenced by benthic flux and is affected by the seafloor redox and sedimentation rate.The deep time spatially heterogeneous and temporally oscillatoryδ13Ccarb records in the basin-scale could be alternatively attributed to the variations of local environmental factors rather than aδ13Csw depth-gradient.Thus,the seafloor carbonate precipitation is continuously affected by diagenetic reactions in sediments,suggesting thatδ13Ccarb recording the seawater DIC composition is conditional.Our study urges that the interpretation ofδ13Ccarb should also consider the sedimentary process and depositional environment of marine carbonate.Weiming Ding Ting Nie Yongbo Peng Yuanlin Sun Jinzhuang Xue Bing Shen 2021Acta Geochimica2021,40,3:2
10Construction of mesoporous ceria-supported gold catalysts with rich oxygen vacancies for efficient CO oxidation显示文摘Bearing unique redox nature and high oxygen storage capacity,ceria(CeO_(2))has always been a promising CO oxidation catalyst support for gold(Au)catalysts and the like.Herein,a series of Au-CeO_(2)-P(P stands for pH value)samples was prepared by a co-precipitation method with the assistance of an alkaline environment and amino groups functionalized ordered mesoporous polymer(OMP-NH_(2)).Afterward,all samples described above were characterized that the Au-CeO_(2)-P catalysts are made of Au-Ce-O solid solution and Au nanoparticles(NPs)supported on CeO_(2).It turns out that OMP-NH_(2) is not just a simple sacrificial template for mesoporous structure,but also plays an important role as an amino source,explaining the presence of rich oxygen vacancies.Due to the concentration of oxygen vacancies in Au-Ce-O solid solution is the key factor for the oxygen mobility of CO oxidation,the catalytic results also demonstrate that the catalytic activity of Au-CeO_(2)-P catalysts is related to the concentration of their oxygen vacancies.Moreover,Au-CeO_(2)-9.6 with a highest concentration of oxygen vacancies(as high as 13.98%)in Au-CeO_(2)-P catalysts exhibits the best catalytic activity(complete conversion at 10℃).Xin Shen Wang Li Shunmin Ding Xiaohua Ma Shaohua Wu Weiming Xiao Rong Zeng Sanguo Hong Chao Chen 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,3:2
