Theories and Methods of Landscape Architecture Heritage Protection显示文摘This paper firstly made an overview of foreign and domestic theories and methods of landscape architecture heritage protection. It studied the landscape architecture heritage from policies and regulations, investment management, talent cultivation, and popular science education. Then,it discussed problems of landscape architecture heritage protection in China:lack of legislation, weak awareness of heritage resources, overdevelopment of heritage resources, and vacancy in management and monitoring of heritage resources. Finally,it came up with recommendations that competent authorities of Chinese government should attach greater importance to heritage management, talent cultivation, and fund input, integrate with advanced management methods of developed countries, and exploring a landscape architecture heritage protection and management mode suitable for national conditions of China at levels of thought, methods, and technology. | SHI Chengyong ZHANG Pei TANG Ying | 2016 | Journal of Landscape Research2016,8,6: | 1
Landscape Design Mode Based on the Integration of Ecology, Production and Life显示文摘Taking landscape design of Suburban Park in Yulin City for example, this paper applied the design thoughts of integrating multiple planning, defining concepts and objectives, specified the design strategies of restoring ecology, improving life and promoting production, and disclosed the landscape design mode based on the integration of ecology, production and life in which ecological landscapes, productive landscapes and living landscapes promote and coexist harmoniously with each other. | SHI Chengyong ZHANG Pei TANG Ying | 2016 | Journal of Landscape Research2016,8,5: | 0
κ-Opioid receptor activation attenuates osteoarthritis synovitis by regulating macrophage polarization through the NF-κB pathway显示文摘Osteoarthritis(OA)is a prevalent and chronic joint disease that affects the aging population, causing pain and disability.Macrophages in synovium are important mediators of synovial inflammatory activity and pathological joint pain.Previous studies have demonstrated the significant involvement of k-opioid receptor(KOR)in the reg-ulation of pain and inflammation. Our study reveals a significant reduction in synovial KOR expression among patients and mice with OA.Here,we find that KOR activation effectively inhibits the expressions of the LPS-induced-inflammatory cytokines TNF-αand IL-6 by inhibiting macrophage M1 phenotype.Mechanistically,KOR activation effectively suppresses the proinflammatory factor secretion of macrophages by inhibiting the translocation of NF-kB into the nucleus. Our animal experiments reveal that activation of KOR effectively alleviates knee pain and prevents synovitis progression in OA mice.Consistently,KOR administration suppresses the expressions of M1 macrophage markers and the NF-kB pathway in the synovium of the knee.Collectively, our study suggests that targeting KOR may be a viable strategy for treating OA by inhibiting synovitis and improving joint pain in affected patients. | Yi Shi Huaqiang Tao Xueyan Li Liyuan Zhang Chunhui Li Wen Sun Miao Chu Kai Chen Pengfei Zhu Qiang Wang Chengyong Gu Liangliang Wang Xing Yang Yuefeng Hao | 2024 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,1: | 0
Emerging paradigms in exploring the interactions among diet, probiotics, and cancer immunotherapeutic response显示文摘In the new issue of Cell,Dr.Meisel’s teamcharacterized how the orally administrated probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri(Lr)translocated from the gut to tumors in mice with melanoma.1 Furthermore, its production of a compound called indole-3-aldehyde(I3A)derived fromdietary tryptophan directly stimulates immune cells to make cancer immunotherapy more effective(Figure 1A). | Shi Huang Chengyong He Jiufeng Li Yi-Zhou Gao Zuoyun Wang Yongjun Wei | 2023 | The Innovation2023,4,4: | 0
The Evolution of Landscape Patterns of and Optimization Measures for Urban Core Areas Against the Background of Urbanization: A Case Study of Yangling Demonstration Zone显示文摘Studying the urban landscape pattern plays a crucial role in scientific land use and management and in improving the urban ecological environment. In this paper, Auto CAD, Arc GIS, Fragstats, and other software were used to analyze the data of the fourth phase of land use in the core area of Yangling Demonstration Zone. The results showed that:(1) in the core area, the percentage of construction land increased from 18.22% to 61.72%, and the percentage of agricultural land decreased from 58.36% to 11.14%. And the farm land was fragmented, and traffic connectivity was strengthened. The area of garden land was reduced from 251.89 hm2 to 50.38 hm2, and the landscape metric of forest land showed an inverted V-shaped curve.(2) The year 2009 in four phases witnessed the greatest landscape fragmentation, both Edge Density(ED) and Largest Patch Index(LPI) increased, and human interference enhanced the overall landscape complexity. Measures were formulated in terms of clear development goals, optimized al ocation of land resources, effective protection of ecological red lines, and definite ecological responsibility, so as to optimize the urban landscape pattern. | TANG Ying ZHANG Pei SHI Chengyong | 2018 | Journal of Landscape Research2018,10,4: | 0
Clogging of slurry-shield tunnel-boring machine drives in sedimentary soft rock:A case study显示文摘This paper presents a case study of the clogging of a slurry-shield tunnel-boring machine(TBM)experienced during tunnel operations in clay-rich argillaceous siltstones under the Ganjiang River,China. The clogging experienced during tunneling was due to special geological conditions, which had a considerably negative impact on the slurry-shield TBM tunneling performance. In this case study, the effect of clogging on the slurry-shield TBM tunneling performance(e.g.,advance speed, thrust, torque, and penetration per revolution)was fully investigated. The potential for clogging during tunnel operations in argillaceous siltstone was estimated using an existing empirical classification chart. Many improvement measures have been proposed to mitigate the clogging potential of two slurry-shield TBMs during tunneling, such as the use of an optimum cutting wheel,a replacement cutting tool, improvements to the circulation flushing system and slurry properties, mixed support integrating slurry, and compressed air to support the excavation face. The mechanisms and potential causes of clogging are explained in detail, and the contributions of these mitigation measures to tunneling performance are discussed.By investigating the actual operational parameters of the slurry-shield TBMs,these mitigation measures were proven to be effective in mitigating the clogging potential of slurry-shield TBMs.This case study provides valuable information for slurry-shield TBMs involving tunneling in clay-rich sedimentary rocks. | Chengyong CAO Xiangsheng CHEN Chenghua SHI Yanbin FU Chenjie GONG Zuxian WANG | 2023 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2023,17,10: | 0
