1Influence of friction stir processing conditions on corrosion behavior of AZ31B magnesium alloy显示文摘The present study aims to investigate the effect of friction stir processing(FSP)conditions on the corrosion characteristic of AZ31B magnesium alloy.Specimens made of AZ31B alloy were friction stir processed under various processing conditions,and their microstructure and corrosion behavior were studied.The corrosion behavior was studied by potentiodynamic polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and immersion test in 3.5%sodium chloride(NaCl)solution.The results showed a substantial improvement in the corrosion resistance of the friction stir processed AZ31B alloy.The improvement is likely a result of more stable corrosion products and microstructure refinement formed after friction sir processing.Hamed Seifiyan Mahmoud Heydarzadeh Sohi Mohammad Ansari Donya Ahmadkhaniha Mohsen Saremi 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:6
2Effects of Nb Alloying on Nano-Crystallization Kinetics of Fe_(55-x)Cr_(18)Mo_7B_(16)C_4Nb_x(x=0, 3) Bulk Amorphous Alloys显示文摘Crystallization kinetics of Fe55-xCr18Mo7B16C4Nbx(x= 0, 3) bulk amorphous alloys were analyzed using X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) tests. In practice, crystallization and growth mechanism were evaluated using DSC tests at four different heating rates (10, 20, 30, and 40 K/min) and kinetic models. Two-step crystallization behavior was observed when Fe55Cr18Mo7B16C4 and Fe52Cr18Mo7B16C4Nb3 bulk amorphous alloys were annealed, where Fe36Cr12Mo10 phase was crystallized in the first step of crystallization. Results show that Fe36Cr12Mo10 and Fe3C phases were crystallized in the structures of the alloys after further annealing process. Activation energy for the crystallization of Fe36Cr12Mo10 phase was measured to be 543 kJ/mol in Fe52Cr18Mo7B16C4Nb3 alloy and 375 kJ/mol for Fe55Cr18Mo7B16C4 alloy according to Kissinger-Starink model. Moreover, a two-dimensional diffusion controlled growth mechanism with decreasing nucleation rate was found in Fe52Cr18Mo7B16C4Nb3 alloy whereas a three-dimensional diffusion controlled growth mechanism with decreasing nucleation rate was found in crystallization of Fe36Cr12Mo10 phase dur- ing annealing of Fe55Cr18Mo7B16C4 alloy. TEM (transmission electron microscopy) observations reveal that crystalline Fe36Cr12Mo10 phase nucleated in the structures of the alloys in an average size of 10 nm with completely mottled morphology.S. 3Improvement in the protective performance and adhesion of polypyrrole coating on AZ31 Mg alloys显示文摘The electrochemical synthesis of polypyrrole(Ppy) coating on AZ31 magnesium alloy was successfully achieved in a solution containing sodium salicylate and monomer of pyrrole through cyclic voltammetry technique.The effect of potential range,passivation pretreatment and number of cycles of polymerization on the quality and protective performance of the coatings was evaluated using surface analysis and electrochemical techniques.Through taking the advantage of charge transfer resistance,current density,corrosion potential,optical microscopy images and SEM micrographs,the optimum condition of synthesis of a Ppy coating with the best adhesion and corrosion protection was determined.The optimal PPy coating synthesized over AZ31 increases the polarization resistance and decreases the corrosion current more than one order of magnitude and shift the corrosion potential about 200 mV toward nobler potentials.The SEM studies showed that Ppy coating have cauliflower morphology of Ppy grains with a diameter ranging from 20 nm to 60 nm.Maryam Hatami Mohsen Saremi Reza Naderi 2015Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2015,25,5:2
4Nanocrystallization of α-Fe Crystals in Fe_(52)Cr_(18)Mo_7B_(16)C_4Nb_3 Bulk Amorphous Alloy显示文摘Crystallization kinetics of Fe52Cr18Mo7B16C4Nb3 alloy was evaluated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),differential scanning calorimetric(DSC) tests and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) observations in this research work.In effect,crystallization and growth mechanism were investigated by using DSC tests at four different heating rates(10,20,30,40 K/min).Results showed that a two-step crystallization process occurred in the alloy in which α-Fe and Fe3B phases were crystallized,respectively in the structure after heat treatment.Activation energy for the first step of crystallization,i.e.α-Fe was measured to be 421 and 442 kJ/mol according to Kissinger-Starink and Ozawa models,respectively.Further,Avrami exponent calculated from DSC curves was 1.6 and a two-dimensional diffusion controlled growth mechanism with decreasing nucleation rate was observed in the alloy.Moreover,it was known from the TEM observations that crystalline α-Fe phase nucleated in the structure of the alloy in an average size of 10 nm and completely mottled morphology.S. 5In vivo acute toxicity and anti-gastric evaluation of a novel dichloro Schiff base: Bax and HSP70 alteration显示文摘Chlorine is shown to possess anti-gastric ulcer activity,since it can inactivate Helicobacter pylori,which is regarded as one of the most common risk factors for causing gastric problems.In the current study,the gastroprotective property of a novel dichloro-substituted Schiff base complex,2,2/-[-1,2-cyclohexanediylbis(nitriloethylidyne)]bis(4-chlorophenol)(CNCP),against alcohol-induced gastric lesion in SD rats was assessed.SD rats were divided into four groups,i.e.normal,ulcer control,testing,and reference groups.Ulcer area,gastric wall mucus,and also gastric acidity of the animal stomachs were measured.In addition,antioxidant activity of CNCP was evaluated and its safe dose was identified.Immunohistochemistry staining was also carried to evaluate two important proteins,i.e.Bcl2-associated X protein(Bax)and heat shock protein 70(HSP70).Moreover,the activities of super oxide dismutase and catalase,as well as the levels of prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were also measured.Antioxidant activity of CNCP was approved via the aforementioned experiments.Histological evaluations showed that the compound possesses stomach epithelial defense activity.Additionally,periodic acid-Schiff staining exhibited over-expression of HSP70 and down-expression of Bax protein in the.GNCP-treated rats.Moreover,CNCP caused deceased MDA level and elevated PGE2 level,and at the same time increased the activities of the two enzymes.Kamelia Saremi Sima Kianpour Rad Maryam Khalilzadeh Jamal Hussaini Nazia Abdul Majid 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,1:2
