| 1 | Portopulmonary hypertension in liver transplant candidates显示文摘Pulmonary vascular disorders including portopulmonary hypertension(PoPHT) are among the common complications of liver disease and are prognostically significant. Survival is very low without medical treatment and liver transplantation. With advances in medical therapy for elevated pulmonary artery pressure(PAP) and liver transplant surgery, survival of patients with Po PHT and advanced liver disease is significantly improved. Because of the prognostic significance of Po PHT and the limited donor pool, a comprehensive preoperative cardio-pulmonary assessment is of great importance in cirrhotic patients prior to transplant surgery. Therefore, a detailed transthoracic Doppler echocardiographic examination must be an essential component of this evaluation. Patients with mild Po PHT can safely undergo liver transplant surgery. In cases of moderate to severe Po PHT, right heart catheterization(RHC) should be performed. In patients with moderate to severe Po PHT on RHC(mean PAP 35-45 mm Hg), vasodilator therapy should be attempted. Liver transplantation should be encouraged in cases that demonstrate a positive response. Bridging therapy with specific pulmonary arterial hypertension treatment agents should be considered until the transplant surgery and should be continued during the peri- and post-operative periods as needed. | Serife Savas Bozbas Huseyin Bozbas | 2016 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2016，22，6： | 4 |
| 2 | Hepatitis B reactivation related to everolimus显示文摘Reactivation of hepatitis B virus (HBV) during chemotherapy is a well known complication in patients with chronic hepatitis B and cancer.The clinical manifestations range from subclinical elevation of liver enzymes to severe,potentially fatal fulminant hepatitis.Reactivation can occur in a patient with previous inactive HBV infection;either an inactive carrier or a patient with resolved hepatitis.Everolimus is a mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor approved in renal cell carcinoma,neuroendocrine tumours and breast cancer.mTOR inhibitors are a new generation of drugs for targeted treatment;therefore,little about their side effects is known.Here,we report a patient with renal cell carcinoma who experienced a flare of hepatitis B infection during treatment with everolimus.Clinicians should be aware of HBV reactivation in patients who are undergoing treatment with everolimus,and screening for hepatitis B infection and prophylactic antiviral treatment should be considered. | Sema Sezgin Gksu Serife Bilal Hasan Senol Coskun | 2013 | World Journal of Hepatology2013，5，1： | 3 |
| 3 | Outlier detection by means of robust regression estimators for use in engineering science显示文摘This study compares the ability of different robust regression estimators to detect and classify outliers. Well-known estimators with high breakdown points were compared using simulated data. Mean success rates (MSR) were computed and used as comparison criteria. The results showed that the least median of squares (LMS) and least trimmed squares (LTS) were the most successful methods for data that included leverage points, masking and swamping effects or critical and concentrated outliers. We recommend using LMS and LTS as diagnostic tools to classify outliers, because they remain robust even when applied to models that are heavily contaminated or that have a complicated structure of outliers. | Serif HEKIMOGLU R. | 4 | Copolymerization of Azobenzene-bearing Monomer and 3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT): Improved Electrochemical Performance for Electrochromic Device Applications显示文摘In this study,novel electrochromic copolymers of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)and(E)-1,2-bis(2-fluoro-4-(4-hexylthiophen-2-yl)phenyl)diazene(M1)with different monomer feed ratios were designed and synthesized electrochemically.Electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical characterizations were performed using voltammetry and UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry techniques to test the applicability of copolymers for electrochromic applications.In terms of electrochemical behaviors,addition of an electron-rich EDOT unit into the azobenzenecontaining copolymer increased the electron density on the polymer chain and afforded copolymers with very low oxidation potentials at around0.30 V.While the homopolymers(P1 and PEDOT)exhibited neutral state absorptions centered at 510 and 583 nm,EDOT-bearing copolymers showed red shifted absorptions compared to those of P1 with narrower optical band gaps.In addition,the poor optical contrast and switching times of azobenzene-bearing homopolymer were significantly improved with EDOT addition into the copolymer chain.As a result of the promising electrochromic and kinetic preperties,Co P1.5-bearing single layer electrochromic device that works between purple and light greenish blue colors was constructed and characterized. | Serife O.Hacioglu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2020，38，2： | 2 |
