1A sulfur self-doped multifunctional biochar catalyst for overall water splitting and a supercapacitor from Camellia japonica flowers显示文摘A versatile use of a sulfur self-doped biochar derived from Camellia japonica(camellia)flowers is demonstrated as a multifunctional catalyst for overall water splitting and a supercapacitor.The native sulfur content in the camellia flower facilitates in situ self-doping of sulfur,which highly activates the camellia-driven biochar(SA-Came)as a multifunctional catalyst with the enhanced electron-transfer ability and long-term durability.For water splitting,an SA-Came-based electrode is highly stable and shows reaction activities in both hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions,with overpotentials of 154 and 362 mV at 10 mA cm^(−2),respectively.For supercapacitors,SA-Came achieves a specific capacitance of 125.42 F g^(−1)at 2 A g^(−1)and high cyclic stability in a three-electrode system in a 1 M KOH electrolyte.It demonstrated a high energy density of 34.54 Wh kg^(−1)at a power density of 1600 W kg^(−1)as a symmetric hybrid supercapacitor device with a wide working potential range of 0-1.6 V.Chengkai Xia Subramani Surendran Seulgi Ji Dohun Kim Yujin Chae Jaekyum Kim Minyeong Je Mi-Kyung Han Woo-Seok Choe Chang Hyuck Choi Heechae Choi Jung Kyu Kim Uk Sim 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,4:3
2贝尔麻痹影响大脑默认模式网络的功能连接(英文)显示文摘目的贝尔麻痹是一种常见的特发性面神经病变,导致病变侧的面部肌肉运动功能丧失。作者探讨了贝尔麻痹对大脑默认模式网络(DMN)功能连接的影响。材料与方法使用1.5 T MR成像仪获取静息态f MRI数据,包括健康志愿者35名及不同病理状态下的面瘫患者52例次。使用双重回归独立成分分析方法处理数据。结果发现面瘫不同病理状态下DMN的功能连接发生了不同的变化。在面瘫疾病早期,DMN功能连接在右侧初级感觉皮层、初级运动皮层、背外侧前额叶显著增强;在面瘫后期,DMN功能连接在双侧中扣带回、楔前叶、右侧富内侧前额叶、后扣带回显著增强;在面瘫康复后,DMN功能连接在左侧舌回、小脑显著增强。结论在面瘫不同病理阶段,DMN的功能连接存在着明显的不同,涉及到感觉运动,运动映射,情感以及认知等不同功能脑区。Abdalla Z Mohamed Chuanfu Li Jeungchan Lee Seulgi Eun Yifang Zhu Yuanyuan Wu Jun Yang Kyungmo Park 2014磁共振成像2014,5,6:2

12Concentration–discharge patterns of weathering products from global rivers显示文摘Quantifying the functional relationships relating river discharge and weathering products places key constraints on the negative feedback between the silicate weathering and climate. In this study we analyze the concentration–discharge relationships of weathering products from global rivers using previously compiled time-series datasets for concentrations and discharge from global rivers. To analyze the nature of the covariation between specific discharge and concentrations, we use both a power law equation and a recently developed solute production equation. The solute production equation allows us to quantify weathering efficiency, or the resistance to dilution at high runoff, via the Damko¨hler coefficient. These results are also compared to those derived using average concentration–discharge pairs.Both the power law exponent and the Damk?hler coefficient increase and asymptote as catchments exhibit increasingly chemostatic behavior, resulting in an inverse relationship between the two parameters. We also show that using thedistribution of average concentration–discharge pairs from global rivers, rather than fitting concentration–discharge relationships for each individual river, underestimates global median weathering efficiency by up to a factor of ~10. 13Perception of unrelated microbe-associated molecular patterns triggers conserved yet variable physiological and transcriptional changes in Brassica rapa ssp.pekinensis显示文摘Pattern-triggered immunity(PTI)includes the different transcriptional and physiological responses that enable plants to ward off microbial invasion.Surface-localized pattern-recognition receptors(PRRs)recognize conserved microbeassociated molecular patterns(MAMPs)and initiate a branched signaling cascade that culminate in an effective restriction of pathogen growth.In the model species Arabidopsis thaliana,early PTI events triggered by different PRRs are broadly conserved although their nature or intensity is dependent on the origin and features of the detected MAMP.In order to provide a functional basis for disease resistance in leafy vegetable crops,we surveyed the conservation of PTI events in Brassica rapa ssp.pekinensis.We identified the PRR homologs present in B.rapa genome and found that only one of the two copies of the bacterial Elongation factor-Tu receptor(EFR)might function.We also characterized the extent and unexpected specificity of the transcriptional changes occurring when B.rapa seedlings are treated with two unrelated MAMPs,the bacterial flagellin flg22 peptide and the fungal cell wall component chitin.Finally,using a MAMP-induced protection assay,we could show that bacterial and fungal MAMPs elicit a robust immunity in B.rapa,despite significant differences in the kinetic and amplitude of the early signaling events.Our data support the relevance of PTI for crop protection and highlight specific functional target for disease resistance breeding in Brassica crops.Wanhui Kim Maxim Prokchorchik Yonghua Tian Seulgi Kim Hyelim Jeon Cécile Segonzac 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:0
14Improved Hybrid Precoding Technique with Low-Resolution for MIMO-OFDM System显示文摘This paper proposes an improved hybrid beamforming system based on multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM)system.The proposed beamforming system improves energy efficiency compared to the conventional hybrid beamforming system.Both sub-connected and full-connected structure are considered to apply the proposed algorithm.In the conventional hybrid beamforming,the usage of radio frequency(RF)chains and phase shifter(PS)gives high power and hardware complexity.In this paper,the phase over sampling(POS)with switches(SW)is used in hybrid beamforming system to improve the energy efficiency.The POS-SW structure samples the value of analog beamformer to make lower resolution than conventional system.The number of output data in POS is decided by the resolution of POS system.The limited number of POS decides the resolution of antenna array and the values of POSs are designed from maximum and minimum phase angle antenna array.Energy efficiency without the phase shifter is high although channel capacity is nearly similar with conventional system.Also,the amplifier with POS-SW system is proposed to improve the BER performance.According to the data bits,the output signals of POS are decided.The system with 2,3 and 4 bits is simulated to prove the proposed algorithm.In order to overcome the loss of low-resolution system,the amplifier with POS-SW system using channel information is proposed.The average sum-rate of 4 bits system shows the similar performance with the conventional hybrid beamforming system.This structure can play an important role by increasing the energy efficiency of the wireless communication system that many antennas are used.It is shown that the BER,average sum rate and energy efficiency of the proposed scheme are more improved than the conventional hybrid beamforming system.Seulgi Lee Ji-Sung Jung Young-Hwan You Hyoung-Kyu Song 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
15A study of highly activated hydrogen evolution reaction performance in acidic media by 2D heterostructure of N and S doped graphene on MoO_(x)显示文摘Herein,a layer of molybdenum oxide(MoO_(x)),a transition metal oxide(TMO),which has outstanding catalytic properties in combination with a carbonbased thin film,is modified to improve the hydrogen production performance and protect the MoO_(x)in acidic media.A thin film of graphene is transferred onto the MoO_(x)layer,after which the graphene structure is doped with N and S atoms at room temperature using a plasma doping method to modify the electronic structure and intrinsic properties of the material.The oxygen functional groups in graphene increase the interfacial interactions and electrical contacts between graphene and MoO_(x).The appearance of surface defects such as oxygen vacancies can result in vacancies in MoO_(x).This improves the electrical conductivity and electrochemically accessible surface area.Increasing the number of defects in graphene by adding dopants can significantly affect the chemical reaction at the interfaces and improve the electrochemical performance.These defects in graphene play a crucial role in the adsorption of H^(+)ions on the graphene surface and their transport to the MoO_(x)layer underneath.This enables MoO_(x)to participate in the reaction with the doped graphene.N^(‐)and S^(‐)doped graphene(NSGr)on MoO_(x)is active in acidic media and performs well in terms of hydrogen production.The initial overpotential value of 359 mV for the current density of−10 mA/cm^(2)is lowered to 228 mV after activation.Kubra Aydin Seongwon Woo Vinit Kaluram Kanade Seulgi Choi Chisung Ahn Byungkwon Lim Taesung Kim 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,11:0
