| 2 | Object-based classification approach for greenhouse mapping using Landsat-8 imagery显示文摘Suburban greenhouses with intensive agricultural productivity have increasingly influenced the daily diet and vegetable supply in Chinese cities.With their enormous input of fertilizers and pesticides,greenhouses have considerably changed the local soil quality and environmental risk factors.The ability to obtain timely and accurate information regarding the spatial distribution of greenhouses could make an important contribution to local agricultural management and soil protection.This paper attempts to present a practical framework for extracting suburban greenhouses,integrating remote sensing data from Landsat-8 and object-oriented classification.Inheritance classification was implemented,and various properties,including texture and neighborhood features in addition to spectral information,were investigated through the popular random forest technique for feature selection prior to SVM classification to improve the mapping accuracy.The results demonstrated that object-based classification incorporating non-spectral features yielded a significant improvement compared with the classification results obtained using only the spectral information in traditional per-pixel classification.Both the producer’s and user’s accuracy were higher than 85%for greenhouse identification.Although it remained a challenge to completely distinguish greenhouses from sparse plants,the final greenhouse map indicated that the proposed object-based classification scheme,providing multiple feature selections and multi-scale analysis,yielded worthwhile information when applied to a continuous series of the freely available Landsat-8 imagery data. | Wu Chaofan Deng Jinsong Wang Ke Ma Ligang Amir Reza Shah Tahmassebi | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,1: | 7 |
| 3 | NDVI-Based Lacunarity Texture for Improving Identification of Torreya Using Object-Oriented Method显示文摘Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI) is a very useful feature for differentiating vegetation and non-vegetation in remote sensed imagery.In the light of the function of NDVI and the spatial patterns of the vegetation landscapes,we proposed the lacunarity texture derived from NDVI to characterize the spatial patterns of vegetation landscapes concerning the 'gappiness' or 'emptiness' characteristics.The NDVI-based lacunarity texture was incorporated into object-oriented classification for improving the identification of vegetation categories,especially Torreya which was the targeted tree species in the present research.A three-level hierarchical network of image objects was defined and the proposed texture was integrated as potential sources of information in the rules base.A knowledge base of rules created by classifier C5.0 indicated that the texture could potentially be applied in object-oriented classification.It was found that the addition of such texture improved the identification of every vegetation category.The results demonstrated that the texture could characterize the spatial patterns of vegetation structures,which could be a promising approach for vegetation identification. | HAN Ning WU Jing Amir Reza Shah Tahmassebi XU Hong-wei WANG Ke | 2011 | Agricultural Sciences in China2011,10,9: | 5 |

| 5 | Structural Comparison and Drug Screening of Spike Proteins of Ten SARS-CoV-2 Variants显示文摘SARS-CoV-2(severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2)has evolved many variants with stronger infectivity and immune evasion than the original strain,including Alpha,Beta,Gamma,Delta,Epsilon,Kappa,lota,Lambda,and 21H strains.Amino acid mutations are enriched in the spike protein of SARS CoV-2.which plays a crucial role in cell infetion.However,the impact of these mutations on protein structure and function is unclear.Understanding the pathophysiology and pandemic feaures of these SARS-CoV-2 variants requires knowledge of the spike protein structures.Here,we obtained the spike protein structures of 10 main globally endemic SARS CoV-2 strains using AlphaFold2.The clustering analysis based on structural similarity revealed the unique features of the mainly pandemic SARS CoV-2 Delta variants.indicating that structural clusters can reflect the current characteristics of the epidemic more accurately than those based on the protein sequence.The analysis of the binding afinities of ACE2-RBD,antibody-NTD,and antibody-RBD complexes in the different variants revealed that the recognition of antibodies against SI NTD and RBD was decreased in the variants,especally the Delta variant compared with the original strain,which may induce the immune evasion of SARS-CoV-2 variants.Furthermore,by virtual screening the ZINC database against a high-accuracy predicted structure of Delta spike protein and experimental validation,we identified multiple compounds that target S1 NTD and RBD,which might contribute towards the development of clinical anti-SARS-CoV-2 medicines.Our findings provided a basic foundation for future in vitro and in vivo investigations that might speed up the development of potential therapies for the SARS-CoV-2 va riants. | Qiangzhen Yang Xuemin Jian Ali Alamdar Shah Syed Aamir Fahira Chenxiang Zheng zijia Zhu Ke Wang Jinmai Zhang Yangin Wen Zhiqiang Li Dun Pan Tingting Lu Zhuo Wang Yongyong Shi | 2022 | Research2022,,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Synthesis of surface imprinted polymers based on wrinkled flower-like magnetic graphene microspheres with favorable recognition ability for BSA显示文摘Nowadays,the employing of molecular imprinting technique in the analysis and separation of proteins from complex biological samples has been widely favored by researchers.To enrich the types of surface protein imprinted materials and expand the application fields of graphene materials,novel surface molecular imprinted polymers(MIPs)based on magnetic graphene microspheres Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO@MIPs are first synthesized in this paper.Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO@MIPs are prepared by oxidative self-polymerization of dopamine on the surface of magnetic graphene(Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO)composite microspheres.Bovine serum albumin(BSA)is selected as protein template.Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO microspheres with wrinkled flower-like structure are obtained by compounding Fe_(3)O_(4)and graphene oxide in an appropriate ratio via the method of high-temperature reduction self-assembly.The microspheres exhibit promising dispersibility,high external surface area,rich pore structure,and sufficient magnetic properties.These advantages not only prevent the agglomeration of imprinted microspheres in the aqueous phase,which is conducive to contact and static adsorption,but also increase the amount of protein imprinting.Additionally,sufficient magnetic properties ensure fast and effective separation of the adsorbents.While the adsorption capacity is increased,the separation procedure becomes simple.The binding capacity of Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO@MIPs for BSA can reach 317.58 mg/g within 60 min,and the imprinting factor(IF)is 4.24.More importantly,Fe_(3)O_(4)@r GO@MIPs can specifically recognize the target BSA from the mixed proteins and the actual sample.There is no significant decrease in the adsorption amount,IF,and magnetic properties after eight runs.It is promising to be used in the separation of proteins from the actual biological samples. | Zuoting Yang Ke Yang Yuhong Cui Tariq Shah Mudasir Ahmad Qiuyu Zhang Baoliang Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15: | 2 |

| 10 | Nitrate application affects root morphology by altering hormonal status and gene expression patterns in B9 apple rootstock nursery plants显示文摘Lateral roots(LRs)are critical for absorbing water,minerals,and nutrients.Nitrate is a vital signaling molecule for regulating LR growth.However,understanding how nitrate interacts with endogenous hormones and genes to coordinate LR development is a bottleneck.In this study,B9 apple rootstock nursery plants were cultured hydroponically and treated with different nitrate treatments(Control;T1,2.25 mM L^(−1);T2,9 mM L^(−1);T3,18 mM L^(−1);T4,36 mM L^(−1);and T5,72 mM L^(−1)),where T5 outperformed the other treatments.Nursery plants were subsequently treated with control and T5 to explore the underlying physiological and molecular mechanisms by which nitrate promoted LR growth.Plant height,stem diameter,root morphological parameters,endogenous hormones,and gene expression levels were measured.Results showed that T5 promoted LR growth by increasing the endogenous contents of indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)and gibberellic acid(GA),and by decreasing the contents of abscisic acid(ABA),jasmonic acid(JA),and zeatin riboside(ZR)at most time points.Furthermore,the relative expression levels of nitrate transporter genes were upregulated in the control group,and nitrate assimilation genes were upregulated in T5 nursery plants at various time points.In addition,the transcript abundances of auxin-related genes were higher in T5 nursery plants,which increased auxin contents.MdSHR,MdGATA1,and MdSCR1 expressions were induced,hence increasing LR growth.In contrast,higher auxin content raised MdWOX11 expression,which enhanced the MdLBD16 and MdLBD29 expression levels,thus prompting the transcripts of cell cycle-related genes:MdCYCD1;1 and MdCYCP4;1.Overall,the changes in hormonal content and gene expression levels followed superior LR growth by T5. | Muhammad Mobeen Tahir Xiaoyun Zhang Kamran Shah Faisal Hayat Shaohuan Li Jiangping Mao ke Li Yu Liu Yun Shao Dong Zhang | 2021 | Fruit Research2021,1,1: | 1 |
