4An Application of the Modified Shear Lag Model to Study the Influence of Thermal Residual Stresses on the Stiffness and Yield Strength of Short Fiber Reinforced Metal Matrix Composites显示文摘The modified shear lag model proposed recently was applied to calculate thermal residual stresses and subsequent stress distributions under tensile and compressive loadings. The expressions for the elastic moduli and the yield strengths under tensile and compressive loadings were derived which take account of thermal residual stresses. The asymmetries in the elastic modulus and the yield strength were interpreted using the derived expressions and the obtained results of the stress calculations. 6Preparation and tribological properties of potassium titanate-Ti_3C_2T_x nanocomposites as additives in base oil显示文摘A potassium titanate-Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanocomposite was synthesized using a facile, low-temperature and environmentally friendly process. The morphology and micro structure of the as-prepared samples were analyzed by means of XRD, SEM, TEM, and XPS. The tribological property of the nanocomposite as additive in base oil was evaluated. The results reveal that the in-situ formed potassium titanate nanowires with average diameter of 30 nm and the uniform distribution on the surface of Ti3 C2 Tx nanosheets.Compare to Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanosheets, the average friction coefficient and wear scar width of the oil containing potassium titanate-Ti_3 C_2 T_x nanocomposites are decreased by 4.9% and 22% under the same conditions.The excellent tribological performance is attributed to the synergic effects of the two components in the nanocomposite structure.Xuefeng Zhang Yu Guo Yijia Li Yong Liu Shangli Dong 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,2:1
