| 1 | Estimation of ammonia nitrogen load from nonpoint sources in the Xitiao River catchment, China显示文摘Ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) is one of the three main forms of total nitrogen (TN). Most studies have estimated the load of TN from nonpoint sources instead of one specific form. The relationship between land use and concentrations of NH4+-N in runoff was analyzed using the hydraulic analysis functions of a Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and the annual loads of NH4+-N in the Xitiao River catchment were estimated according to model results. The results suggested that the calculated annual loads of NH4+-N agreed well with the observed ones, which was a good example demonstrating that it was possible to estimate the pollutant loads from nonpoint sources without enough monitoring data. Results also showed that the concentrations of NH4+-N in river waters of forest and arable land in the study area were 0.16 and 0.39 mg/L, respectively. The total nonpoint source load of NH4+-N from 1995 to 2001 (except 1998 and 2000) varied between 2,098 and 7,992 tons/year in the Xitiao River catchment. | Tao LIANG Zhongyi CHONG | 2008 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2008，20，10： | 13 |
| 2 | 四川地区青年人鼓室导抗筛查的正常值显示文摘目的 探讨四川地区青年人群 (2 0~ 3 0岁 )的鼓室导抗筛查的正常值及其影响因素。方法 采取完全重复Roup(1998)测试成人鼓室导抗筛查值的方法 ,测试了 10 2例四川地区青年人的峰补偿静态声导纳值 (PeakYtm) ,外耳道等效容积 (Vea)和鼓室测量坡度 (TW )的正常值 ,并将结果与Roup的测试值进行了比较。结果 本研究与Roup的测试结果在各项鼓室导抗筛查值之间均存在显著性差异。具体而言 ,本研究的峰补偿静态声导纳值及外耳道等效容积均小于Roup的测试值 ,而鼓室测量坡度大于其测试值。男女分性别比较时 ,本研究中男性的峰补偿静态声导纳值及外耳道等效容积均大于女性。结论 本研究验证了四川地区青年人群与西方人群间的鼓室导抗筛查正常值之间的确存在显著性差异 ,提示我们应该建立自己的正常参考值标准 。 | 王昕 梁传余 Shanna Jean Lahr | 2003 | 听力学及言语疾病杂志2003，11，4： | 7 |
| 3 | Population increase and changes in behavior and morphology in the Critically Endangered Redonda ground lizard(Pholidoscelis atratus)following the successful removal of alien rats and goats显示文摘Redonda is a small volcanic Caribbean island that is home to at least 4 endemic lizard species,including the Critically Endangered ground lizard(Pholidoscelis atratus).Black rats(Rattus rattus)and domestic goats(Capra hircus)were introduced to the island at some time after its discovery by Europeans in the late 1500s.They had a devastating effect on the island,resulting in the loss of nearly all trees and most of the ground vegetation.Point count surveys of P.atratus in 2012 indicated low densities,and the invasive rats were observed hunting and preying on the lizards.Both populations of rats and goats were successfully removed in 2017 as part of an ecological restoration program,and native vegetation and invertebrate populations have increased rapidly since.Population surveys in 2017,2018,and 2019 show the lizard population has increased by more than sixfold.In 2017,as rats and goats were being removed,we evaluated the morphology and escape behavior of this species and repeated these measurements 1 year later.We observed that P.atratus had become bolder,with a reduced flight distance.We also detected changes in limb morphology related to locomotion and suggest possible explanations that will need to be further investigated in the future.These results show how the removal of invasive species can rapidly affect lizard population recovery and behavior,potentially restoring island ecosystems to their pre-human interference dynamics. | Colin M.DONIHUE Jennifer C.DALTRY Shanna CHALLENGER Anthony HERREL | 2021 | Integrative Zoology2021，16，3： | 2 |
| 4 | Bacterial Diversity of Anshun Sufu, A Traditional Fermented Tofu in Guizhou Province of China显示文摘Samples of sufu, a traditional food product made by fermenting soybeans, were collected in the city of Anshun in Southwest China and their bacterial diversity was investigated. Nine samples were divided into groups A C, according to the markets in which they were collected, and the samples were subjected to pyrosequencing of the 16S rRNA V3 V4 regions for evaluation of the bacterial community. A total of 342 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were determined. One of the samples (B2) included as many as 286 OTUs, and it also displayed the greatest bacterial richness. The most abundant bacterial diversity was shown in group B. F irmicutes was the dominant phylum in groups A and B, while P roteobacteria was the dominant phylum in group C. L actobacillus was the prevailing genus in group A, T etragenococcus in group B, and E mpedobacter in group C. The bacterial composition of sufu depends, to a large degree, on the manufacturer.
