| 1 | Correlations between various rock mass classification/characterization systems for the Zagros tunnel-W Iran显示文摘This study deals with the comparative investigation on various classification/characterization systems for sedimentary rocks in two parts,40 kmlong of the Zagros tunnel,west of Iran.The results of extensive geotechnical explorations and field measurements were applied to obtain the rock mass classification/characterization systems such as Rock Mass Rating(RMR),Rock Condition Rating(RCR),Q-system(Q),Rock Mass Number(QN),Rock Mass index(RMi),Rock Structure Rating(RSR),and Geological Strength Index(GSI)for a wide range of sedimentary rocks.A set of systems inter-relationship is proposed.Some of these correlation relations such as RMR-Q,RMR-RMi,RMi-Q,RCR,GSI-GSI(Cai)are similar to the one or more relations proposed in the previous studies,however,some of them such as RSR-RMR,RSR-Q,RCR-QN and GSI-RMR are not similar to the previous works.Joint set orientation and joint set number are more important parameters that cause weak correlation coefficients where both side classifications are not similar in considering them in calculating values.So it is proposed to find relations between any pairs of systems that both of them consider or not consider these parameters.The relations are proposed for a wide range of sedimentary rocks and can be applied for similar geological environments. | Shahriar SADEGHI Ebrahim SHARIFI TESHNIZI Benyamin GHOREISHI | 2020 | Journal of Mountain Science2020,17,7: | 2 |

| 6 | Fractured reservoir history matching improved based on artificial intelligent显示文摘In this paper,a new robust approach based on Least Square Support Vector Machine(LSSVM)as a proxy model is used for an automatic fractured reservoir history matching.The proxy model is made to model the history match objective function(mismatch values)based on the history data of the field.This model is then used to minimize the objective function through Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)and Imperialist Competitive Algorithm(ICA).In automatic history matching,sensitive analysis is often performed on full simulation model.In this work,to get new range of the uncertain parameters(matching parameters)in which the objective function has a minimum value,sensitivity analysis is also performed on the proxy model.By applying the modified ranges to the optimization methods,optimization of the objective function will be faster and outputs of the optimization methods(matching parameters)are produced in less time and with high precision.This procedure leads to matching of history of the field in which a set of reservoir parameters is used.The final sets of parameters are then applied for the full simulation model to validate the technique.The obtained results show that the present procedure in this work is effective for history matching process due to its robust dependability and fast convergence speed.Due to high speed and need for small data sets,LSSVM is the best tool to build a proxy model.Also the comparison of PSO and ICA shows that PSO is less time-consuming and more effective. | Sayyed Hadi Riazi Ghasem Zargar Mehdi Baharimoghadam Bahman Moslemi Ebrahim Sharifi Darani | 2016 | Petroleum2016,2,4: | 0 |
| 7 | Advantages of employing multilevel monitoring wells for design of tunnels subjected to multi-aquifer alluvial显示文摘For tunnels being excavated through multiple knowledge of the aquifers’hydraulic head becomes essential for determining groundwater inflow into the tunnel and analyzing its stability,specifically using multilevel monitoring systems.In the multi-aquifer alluvial section of the Glas tunnel(Iran),since the hydraulic head calculations were based on the data obtained from single-piezometer boreholes,the excavation risk was assessed to be at high level and the tunnel seemed to be unstable,thus an incorrect conclusion was derived from the misleading data.To take cost mitigation measures into account,it was necessary to calculate the hydraulic head at tunnel level accurately.By installing nested and clustered wells the mean hydraulic head was measured to be 70 m,significantly different from the 90 m previously determined by boreholes.Considering the updated value,the groundwater inflow and bulkhead load,formerly calculated as 0.65 m^(3)/s and 9.5 bars,were determined to be 0.49 m^(3)/s and 7.5 bars,respectively. | Mohsen GOLIAN Ebrahim SHARIFI TESHNIZI Hamed TAVASOLI ROSTAMI Homayoon KATIBEH Mario PARISE Masoud MAHDAD Habib SAADAT Mehdi ABBASI Mahshid EBAD ARDESTANI | 2021 | Journal of Mountain Science2021,18,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Integrated Biostratigraphy, Depositional Setting and Geochemical Analyses for Petroleum Potential Evaluation of the Lower Cretaceous(Barremian – Albian) Strata of the Koppeh-Dagh Basin, Northeastern Iran显示文摘The lower Cretaceous rock units of the Koppeh-Dagh Basin of northeastern Iran were investigated here in terms of biostratigraphy,depositional setting and geochemical analyses to find out if they,alike other parts of the world,are rich in petroleum.For this purpose,a stratigraphic framework is established using calcareous nannofossil and palynological elements.A nannoplankton zonation based on which subzones of the zones CC7–CC8 of Sissingh(1977)and their equivalent NC6–NC8 of Roth(1978)was established indicating a Late Barremian–Albian age.Palynological assemblages led us to establish the local palynozone of Odontochitina operculata.A dominantly marginal basin to a transitional zone between shelf and basin under a dysoxic–anoxic condition with low to moderate sedimentation rates coincided with a gradual sea level rise was introduced as the environment of deposition for the strata via interpretation of the palynological parameters and quantitative palynology.The obtained data from Rock-Eval pyrolysis in compilation with palynofacies analysis reveals that the studied succession contains mainly gas-prone type III kerogen.The Spore Coloration Index(SCI)alongside with the Rock-Eval pyrolysis results(low values of HI and TOC)proves that these rock units locally produced natural gas during the time under consideration. | Sharifi MOHAMMAD Foroughi FARIBA Ghasemi-Nejad EBRAHIM Shekarifard ALI Yazdi-Moghadam MOHSEN Sarfi MEHDI | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6: | 0 |
