| 1 | Mitophagy links oxidative stress conditions and neurodegenerative diseases显示文摘Mitophagy is activated by a number of stimuli, including hypoxia, energy stress, and increased oxidative phosphorylation activity. Mitophagy is associated with oxidative stress conditions and central neurodegenerative diseases. Proper regulation of mitophagy is crucial for maintaining homeostasis; conversely, inadequate removal of mitochondria through mitophagy leads to the generation of oxidative species, including reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species, resulting in various neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. These diseases are most prevalent in older adults whose bodies fail to maintain proper mitophagic functions to combat oxidative species. As mitophagy is essential for normal body function, by targeting mitophagic pathways we can improve these disease conditions. The search for effective remedies to treat these disease conditions is an ongoing process, which is why more studies are needed. Additionally, more relevant studies could help establish therapeutic conditions, which are currently in high demand. In this review, we discuss how mitophagy plays a significant role in homeostasis and how its dysregulation causes neurodegeneration. | 2 | 中(西)澳地质填图对比及对中国地质填图的启示显示文摘为了解发达国家最新填图工作方法,吸取其精华并进一步完善国内填图方法、提高填图质量,中国地质调查局西安地质调查中心与西澳大利亚地调局开展了为期4年的地质填图技术方法交流合作。基于西澳大利亚州(以下简称西澳)伊尔岗克拉通和中国西部北山造山带3年的实地填图工作,系统地对比了中国与西澳地质填图的异同。双方在工作思路、工作程序等方面基本一致,但是在成果表达、数据集成、人员组织、质量管理等方面存在系统差异。对所有实体按照岩性进行划分和填图是西澳长期以来地质填图的基本思想,也是中国地质填图现在及将来努力的方向。系统逻辑的数据集成与共享也是值得借鉴的一个重要方面。地质调查、科研相结合与高素质人员进军地调队伍是提高填图质量的前提和基础,着眼于大区域的工作部署和稳定的区域地质调查队伍是加快填图速度的重要保障。 | 李建星 Chen Shefa 毛晓长 邱士东 孟勇 郭琳 | 2015 | 地质通报2015,34,12: | 8 |
| 3 | Comparative study of microarray and experimental data on Schwann cells in peripheral nerve degeneration and regeneration: big data analysis显示文摘A Schwann cell has regenerative capabilities and is an important cell in the peripheral nervous system.This microarray study is part of a bioinformatics study that focuses mainly on Schwann cells. Microarray data provide information on differences between microarray-based and experiment-based gene expression analyses. According to microarray data, several genes exhibit increased expression(fold change) but they are weakly expressed in experimental studies(based on morphology, protein and mRNA levels). In contrast, some genes are weakly expressed in microarray data and highly expressed in experimental studies;such genes may represent future target genes in Schwann cell studies. These studies allow us to learn about additional genes that could be used to achieve targeted results from experimental studies. In the current big data study by retrieving more than 5000 scientific articles from PubMed or NCBI, Google Scholar, and Google, 1016(up-and downregulated) genes were determined to be related to Schwann cells. However,no experiment was performed in the laboratory; rather, the present study is part of a big data analysis. | 12 | Trace Element Mobility in Subducted Marble and Associated Eclogite:Constraints from UHP Rocks in the Shuanghe Area,Central-East China显示文摘In order to decipher element mobility in UHP meta-sedimentary rocks in the continental subduction zone,major and trace element compositions are investigated for a continuous profile from a representative UHP region in the Dabie Mountains.Among the lithologic contact zone,contents of K,Ca,LREE,and LILE exhibit varying degrees of downward trends in both marble and eclogite toward the contact zone,indicating that marble and their associated eclogite can release a large amount of K,Ca,and a small number of LILEs and LREEs.Titanite is the main Ti phase in both marble and eclogite.Titanite rims around rutile can occasionally be seen in eclogite.Contents of Ti and HFSE exhibit a well-coupled relation among marble and eclogite,indicating that substantial Ti and HFSEs were migrated from eclogite to marble,in accord with the capacity of a melt medium.Rutiles and titanites in marble exhibit a relatively limited variation in Nb/Ta ratios(12.9-16.2),similar to those of titanites in eclogite(14.2-16.7),which demonstrates that rutiles and titanites in marble were sourced from eclogite because of short-distance migrations of Ti and HFSEs.According to the P-T path and the temperature and pressure conditions of the peak metamorphism reported by previous studies,the eclogite associated with marble may not form supercritical fluids in the subduction zone because of the addition of carbonate minerals. | Xingao Hou Zhiqiang Yu Shefa Chen Lei Liu Yilin Xiao | 2024 | Journal of Earth Science2024,35,1: | 0 |
