| 1 | Recent progress in Ti-based nanocomposite anodes for lithium ion batteries显示文摘Studying on the anode materials with high energy densities for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) is the key for the wide application for electrochemical energy storage devices.Ti-based compounds as promising anode materials are known for their outstanding high-rate capacity and cycling stability as well as improved safety over graphite. However, Ti-based materials still suffer from the low capacity, thus largely limiting their commercialized application. Here, we present an overview of the recent development of Ti-based anode materials in LIBs, and special emphasis is placed on capacity enhancement by rational design of hybrid nanocomposites with conversion-/alloying-type anodes. | 2 | A kernel learning framework for domain adaptation learning显示文摘Domain adaptation learning(DAL) methods have shown promising results by utilizing labeled samples from the source(or auxiliary) domain(s) to learn a robust classifier for the target domain which has a few or even no labeled samples.However,there exist several key issues which need to be addressed in the state-of-theart DAL methods such as sufficient and effective distribution discrepancy metric learning,effective kernel space learning,and multiple source domains transfer learning,etc.Aiming at the mentioned-above issues,in this paper,we propose a unified kernel learning framework for domain adaptation learning and its effective extension based on multiple kernel learning(MKL) schema,regularized by the proposed new minimum distribution distance metric criterion which minimizes both the distribution mean discrepancy and the distribution scatter discrepancy between source and target domains,into which many existing kernel methods(like support vector machine(SVM),v-SVM,and least-square SVM) can be readily incorporated.Our framework,referred to as kernel learning for domain adaptation learning(KLDAL),simultaneously learns an optimal kernel space and a robust classifier by minimizing both the structural risk functional and the distribution discrepancy between different domains.Moreover,we extend the framework KLDAL to multiple kernel learning framework referred to as MKLDAL.Under the KLDAL or MKLDAL framework,we also propose three effective formulations called KLDAL-SVM or MKLDAL-SVM with respect to SVM and its variant μ-KLDALSVM or μ-MKLDALSVM with respect to v-SVM,and KLDAL-LSSVM or MKLDAL-LSSVM with respect to the least-square SVM,respectively.Comprehensive experiments on real-world data sets verify the outperformed or comparable effectiveness of the proposed frameworks. | TAO JianWen CHUNG FuLai WANG ShiTong | 2012 | Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,9: | 10 |
| 3 | Adsorption of Eu(Ⅲ) on titanate nanotubes studied by a combination of batch and EXAFS technique显示文摘The effects of pH,contact time and natural organic ligands on radionuclide Eu(Ⅲ) adsorption and mechanism on titanate nanotubes(TNTs) are studied by a combination of batch and extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS) techniques.Macroscopic measurements show that the adsorption is ionic strength dependent at pH < 6.0,but ionic strength independent at pH > 6.0.The presence of humic acid(HA) /fulvic acid(FA) increases Eu(Ⅲ) adsorption on TNTs at low pH,but reduces Eu(Ⅲ) adsorption at high pH.The results of EXAFS analysis indicate that Eu(Ⅲ) adsorption on TNTs is dominated by outer-sphere surface complexation at pH < 6.0,whereas by inner-sphere surface complexation at pH > 6.0.At pH < 6.0,Eu(Ⅲ) consists of ~ 9 O atoms at REu?O ≈ 2.40 in the first coordination sphere,and a decrease in NEu-O with increasing pH indicates the introduction of more asymmetry in the first sphere of adsorbed Eu(Ⅲ).At long contact time or high pH values,the Eu(Ⅲ) consists of ~2 Eu at REu-Eu ≈ 3.60 and ~ 1 Ti at REu-Ti ≈ 4.40 ,indicating the formation of inner-sphere surface complexation,surface precipitation or surface polymers.Surface adsorbed HA/FA on TNTs modifies the species of adsorbed Eu(Ⅲ) as well as the local atomic structures of adsorbed Eu(Ⅲ) on HA/FA-TNT hybrids.Adsorbed Eu(Ⅲ) on HA/FA-TNT hybrids forms both ligand-bridging ternary surface complexes(Eu-HA/FA-TNTs) as well as surface complexes in which Eu(Ⅲ) remains directly bound to TNT surface hydroxyl groups(i.e.,binary Eu-TNTs or Eu-bridging ternary surface complexes(HA/FA-Eu-TNTs)).The findings in this work are important to describe Eu(Ⅲ) interaction with nanomaterials at molecular level and will help to improve the understanding of Eu(Ⅲ) physicochemical behavior in the natural environment. | SHENG GuoDong YANG ShiTong ZHAO DongLin SHENG Jiang WANG XiangKe | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,1: | 8 |

| 6 | Programmable soft bending actuators with auxetic metamaterials显示文摘Soft robotics has been receiving increasing attention due to its flexibility and adaptability offered by embodied intelligence. A soft robot may undergo complex motions including stretching,contraction,bending,twisting,and their intricate combinations.Among these basic motions,bending plays a central role when a robot accomplishes tasks such as locomotion,grasping and manipulation. Although a rich repertoire of bending mechanisms has been reported,a systematic and rational design framework is still lack. In this paper,we provide a novel design strategy for soft bending actuators which allows integral modeling and design optimization. Nowadays,metamaterials are emerging as a new tool for soft robots,by encoding the desired complex motions directly within the material architectures,leading to conformable monolithic systems. We combine pneumatic actuators and flexible metamaterials to provide an alternative solution to soft bending actuators,with advantages of compact design,large bending motion,and convenient fabrication. A regular pneumatic chamber is embedded inside auxetic and non-auxetic metamaterials,and bending is generated when inflated. We carry out dimensionless analysis to identify the key design variables. To provide insight into design optimization,we develop a computation framework by modeling metamaterial structures with beam elements and the inner chamber with shell elements as an integral part,allowing efficient simulation of the coupled system. | 7 | Investigation of radionuclide ^(60)Co(Ⅱ) binding to TiO_2 by batch technique,surface complexation model and DFT calculations显示文摘The interaction between radionuclides and solid/water interfaces is important to understand the physicochemical processes of radionuclides in the natural environment.Herein,the interaction of 60Co(Ⅱ) with TiO 2 in aqueous solution as a function of pH and ionic strength was studied by using batch technique combined with surface complexation model and density functional theory(DFT) calculations.The batch experimental results showed that the adsorption of 60Co(Ⅱ) was dependent on pH and independent of ionic strength,indicating the formation of inner-sphere surface complexes on TiO 2 surfaces.The results of surface complexation models and DFT calculations indicated that the surface species of 60Co(Ⅱ) adsorbed on TiO 2 followed the trend:B structure(i.e.,60Co(Ⅱ) was linked to one bridge oxygen site) was the dominant surface species at low pH,and TT structure(i.e.,60Co(Ⅱ) was linked to two terminal oxygen sites) became the important surface complex at neutral and alkaline pH values.These results demonstrated that a multi-technique approach could lead to definitive information on the structures of adsorbed 60Co(Ⅱ) at the molecular level at the TiO 2 /water interfaces,as well as realistic models to rationalize and accurately evaluate the macroscopic manifestations of radionuclide adsorption phenomena. | REN XueMei YANG ShiTong TAN XiaoLi CHEN ChangLun WANG XiangKe | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,9: | 4 |

| 9 | 控制气管插管套囊压力与术后并发症关系的多中心研究显示文摘背景与气管插管相关的术后呼吸系统并发症通常表现为咳嗽、咽喉痛、声嘶、痰中带血。该研究中,我们研究了短时间(数小时)测量和控制气管插管套囊(endotracheal tube cuff,ETrc)压力对术后并发症的影响。方法选择中国上海4所大学附属三级医院拟在全身麻醉下行择期手术的患者509例,分为不测量ETTc压力的对照组和测量并调整ETTc压力的研究组,记录手术时间和插管时间。每组选择插管时间在120—180分钟的20例患者,拔管后即刻行纤维支气管镜检查。拔管后24小时记录咳嗽、咽喉痛、声嘶、痰中带血等气管插管相关并发症。结果两组间性别、年龄、身高、体重、手术时间和插管时问均无显著性差异。研究组调整前通过触摸指示气囊估计的平均ETTc压力为43±23.3mmHg(最高210mmHg),调整后为20±3.1mmHg(P〈0.001)。对照组术后咽喉痛、声嘶、痰中带血的发生率明显高于研究组。随着插管时间的增加,对照组中咽喉痛和痰中带血的发生率增加。研究组中咽喉痛的发生率也随插管时间增加而增加。对40例患者的纤维支气管镜检查结果显示支气管黏膜均有不同程度的损伤,对照组的损伤比研究组更严重。结论依据个人经验通过触捏估计ETTc压力明显高于测量结果或最适压力。即使在短时间(1—3小时)手术中,通过压力计合理控制ETTc压也有助于减少E]丌相关的咳嗽、咽喉痛、声嘶、痰中带血等术后呼吸系统并发症。 | Jianhui Liu Xiaoqing Zhang Wei Gong Shitong Li Fen Wang Shukun Fu Mazhong Zhang Yannan Hang 安博(译) 杜金(校) | 2013 | 麻醉与镇痛2013,,1: | 3 |

| 11 | δ-ferrite transformation mechanism and its effect on mechanical properties of 316H weld metal显示文摘The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the 316 H stainless steel weld metals with different C contents were studied at the aging temperature of 550℃ for different aging holding time.The transformation behavior of δ-ferrite and precipitation mechanisms of M(23)C6 and σ phase in the as-aged weld metal were investigated.The results indicated that for the as-welded weld metal,with increasing C content,the yield and tensile strengths increased,while the elongation decreased owing to the increase of C solid solution strengthening effect.Moreover,both the high δ-ferrite content in low C weld metal and the precipitated M(23)C6 carbide in high C weld metal deteriorated the impact energy obviously.During the aging process,the rapid precipitation of M(23)C6 carbide occurred in σ-ferrite firstly owing to the high diffusion rate of C.Once the carbon is depleted by precipitation of M(23)C6,the slow formation of σ phase occurred through eutectoid transformation(δ→σ+γ) depending on the diffusion of Cr and Mo.Moreover,increasing C content promoted the formation of M(23)C6 carbides and inhibited the formation of σ phase.Therefore,increasing C content accelerated the transformation of σ ferrite in weld metal during aging process.Furthermore,after a long enough aging time,a transformation from M(23)C6 to σ occurred.The variations of mechanical properties with aging conditions depended to a large extent on the microstructures at different aging conditions.For the low C weld metal aged at 550℃,with the increase of the aging time,fine M(23)C6 first precipitated,then coarsened,after that σ phase formed,which caused that the yield and tensile strengths first increased,then decreased,and finally increased slightly again.For the medium C weld metal,as the aging time increased,first the depletion of the solid solution C as a result the M(23)C6 precipitation deteriorated the strength,and then the formation of σ phase improved the strength.For the high C weld metal,with the increase of the aging time,the depletion of the solid solution C and the coarsening of the M(23)C6 precipitates deteriorated the strength.Furthermore,with increasing aging time,both the precipitation and coarsening of M(23)C6 and increasing σ phase content deteriorated the elongation and impact ene rgy. | Langlang Zhao Shitong Wei Dong Wu Dianbao Gao Shanping Lu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,22: | 3 |

| 14 | Enhancing interaction performance of soft pneumatic-networks grippers by skeleton topology optimization显示文摘The inherent compliance of soft materials imbues robots,generally referred to as soft robots,with particular advantages in producing adaptive and safe interactions.However,the mainstream design paradigms of soft robots have been focused on pursuing large free motions only,usually at the expense of greatly decreased stiffness,leading to limited capability of withstanding external loads in interactive scenarios.There is a pressing need to incorporate the interaction specifications at the design stage to embody soft robots with not only proper deformability but equally importantly,considerable stiffness to perform complex tasks in practical applications.Here,inspired by the dexterity of human hands,we propose a computational design framework for soft grippers with a focus on improving their interaction performance in power grasping or precision grasping mode.The design paradigm rests on attaching a relatively stiffer skeleton layer to the parametric pneumatic networks based actuator which is widely used due to the geometric advantage,and the skeleton layout is designed for customized interaction conditions by a level set based topology optimization approach.As expected,the optimized skeleton layouts exhibit specified structural features highly relevant to the predefined concentrated loads for precision grip or distributed loads for power grip,which physically implies the compromise between deformability and stiffness.Since the interaction forces are difficult to measure in situ,we devise power and precision grasping scenarios and evaluate the critical actuation pressure of the object’s falling instead.The experiments qualitatively demonstrate the superiority of each specified design.This work represents an initial step toward the rational design for interaction in soft robots. | CHEN ShiTong WANG YuSheng LI DeChen CHEN FeiFei ZHU XiangYang | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,12: | 2 |

| 18 | Tunable magneto-optical polarization device for terahertz waves based on InSb and its plasmonic structure显示文摘The nonreciprocal circular dichroism and Faraday rotation effect for terahertz(THz) waves in longitudinally magnetized InSb were investigated by theoretical and experimental studies in the THz regime, which indicated its ability for a THz circularly polarized isolator, THz circular polarizer, tunable polarization converter, and polarization modulator by manipulation of different magnetic fields. Furthermore, we demonstrated the InSb plasmonics based on its magneto-optical effects combined with artificial microstructure. We found the magnetooptical enhancement mechanisms in this magneto-plasmonic structure, achieving broadband near-perfect orthogonal linear polarization conversion modulated by the weak magnetic field in an experiment with an extinction ratio of 33 dB. Moreover, the magneto-optical modulation with an amplitude modulation depth of 95.8% can be achieved by this device under a weak magnetic field of 150 mT.
