| 1 | One-pot hydrothermal fabrication of α-Fe_2O_3@C nanocomposites for electrochemical energy storage显示文摘A facile hydrothermal method was developed for the preparation of Fe_2O_3@C nanocomposites using FeCl_3·6H_2O as iron source and glucose as carbon source under alkaline condition. The morphology and structure of the as-prepared product were identified by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM), field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The as-prepare α-Fe_2O_3@C nanocomposites were employed for supercapacitor electrode material. The synergistic combination of carbon electrical double-layer capacitance and α-Fe_2O_3 pseudo-capacitance established such nanocomposites as versatile platform for high performance supercapacitors. | 5 | Smart synthesis of silver nanoparticles supported in porous polybenzoxazine nanocomposites via a main-chain type benzoxazine resin显示文摘In this article, novel silver nanoparticles immobilized on macroporous polybenzoxazine nanocomposites(Ag-poly(BA-ddm)~x_(main)) were prepared as catalysts for catalytic reduction reaction. For this purpose, a main-chain type benzoxazine was cured in dimethyl sulfoxide by thermally activated ring-opening polymerization at 180℃ for 2 days followed by the reduction of silver nitrate in homogeneous polybenzoxazine solution. The porous structure of the resin was confirmed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) analysis and N_2 adsorption/desorption studies. Besides, transmission electron microscopy images showed that spherical particles(around 3–10 nm in sized) are dispersed in Ag-poly(BA-ddm)~x_(main)network. The catalytic activity of the as-prepared nanocomposite has been investigated by photometrically monitoring the reduction of methylene blue by an excess of NaBH_4. The kinetic data of the reduction reaction was explained by the assumption of a pseudo-first-order reaction with regard to methylene blue(MB). As evidence by Ultraviolet(UV) spectral analysis, the Ag-poly(BA-ddm)~x_(main) catalyst possesses excellent catalytic reduction of MB, and no deactivation or poisoning of the catalyst was observed. | 6 | Room-Temperature Single-Molecule Conductance Switch via Confined Coordination-Induced Spin-State Manipulation显示文摘The emergence of molecular spintronics offers a unique chance for the design of molecular devices with different spin-states,and the control of spin-state becomes essential for molecular spin switches.However,the intrinsic spin switching from low-to high-spin state is a temperature-dependent process with a small energy barrier where low temperature is required to maintain the low-spin state.Thus,the room-temperature operation of single-molecule devices has not yet been achieved.Herein,we present a reversible single-molecule conductance switch by manipulating the spin states of the molecule at room temperature using the scanning tunneling microscope break-junction(STM-BJ)technique.The manipulation of the spin states between S=0 and S=1 is achieved by complexing or decomplexing the pyridine derivative molecule with a square planar nickel(Ⅱ)porphyrin.The bias-dependent conductance evolution proves that the strong electric field between the nanoelectrodes plays a crucial role in the coordination reaction.The density functional theory(DFT)calculations further reveal that the conductance changes come from the geometric changes of the porphyrin ring and spin-state switching of the Ni(Ⅱ)ion.Our work provides a new avenue to investigate room-temperature spin-related sensors and molecular spintronics. | Jing Li Qingqing Wu Wei Xu Hai-Chuan Wang Hewei Zhang Yaorong Chen Yongxiang Tang Songjun Hou Colin JLambert Wenjing Hong | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,4: | 0 |
| 7 | Transcriptomic analysis of Andrias davidianus meat and experimental validation for exploring its bioactive components as functional foods显示文摘Andrias davidianus(Chinese giant salamander,CGS)is the largest and oldest extant amphibian species in the world and is a source of prospective functional food in China.However,the progress of functional peptides mining was slow due to lack of reference genome and protein sequence data.In this study,we illustrated full-length transcriptome sequencing to interpret the proteome of CGS meat and obtain 10703 coding DNA sequences.By functional annotation and amino acid composition analysis,we have discovered various genes related to signal transduction,and 16 genes related to longevity.We have also found vast variety of functional peptides through protein coding sequence(CDS)analysis by comparing the data obtained with the functional peptide database.Val-Pro-Ile predicted by the CDS analysis was released from the CGS meat through enzymatic hydrolysis,suggesting that our approach is reliable.This study suggested that transcriptomic analysis can be used as a reference to guide polypeptide mining in CGS meat,thereby providing a powerful mining strategy for the bioresources with unknown genomic and proteomic sequences. | Changge Guan Zhenglin Tan Shucheng Li Yi Wang Naoyuki Yamamoto Chong Zhang Songjun Wang Junjie Chen Xinhui Xing | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 0 |
