1A universal strategy for the creation of machine learning-based atomistic force fields显示文摘Emerging machine learning(ML)-based approaches provide powerful and novel tools to study a variety of physical and chemical problems.In this contribution,we outline a universal strategy to create ML-based atomistic force fields,which can be used to perform high-fidelity molecular dynamics simulations.This scheme involves(1)preparing a big reference dataset of atomic environments and forces with sufficiently low noise,e.g.,using density functional theory or higher-level methods,(2)utilizing a generalizable class of structural fingerprints for representing atomic environments,(3)optimally selecting diverse and nonredundant training datasets from the reference data,and(4)proposing various learning approaches to predict atomic forces directly(and rapidly)from atomic configurations.From the atomistic forces,accurate potential energies can then be obtained by appropriate integration along a reaction coordinate or along a molecular dynamics trajectory.Based on this strategy,we have created model ML force fields for six elemental bulk solids,including Al,Cu,Ti,W,Si,and C,and show that all of them can reach chemical accuracy.The proposed procedure is general and universal,in that it can potentially be used to generate ML force fields for any material using the same unified workflow with little human intervention.Moreover,the force fields can be systematically improved by adding new training data progressively to represent atomic environments not encountered previously.Tran Doan Huan Rohit Batra James Chapman Sridevi Krishnan Lihua Chen Rampi Ramprasad 2017npj Computational Materials2017,,1:10
2Herbicide resistance: Development of wheat production systems and current status of resistant weeds in wheat cropping systems显示文摘Herbicide resistance in crops has extended the scope of herbicide applications to control weeds. The introduction of herbicide resistant crops resulted in a major shift in the way that herbicides are used in many crops, but not necessarily increased the prevalence of herbicide use, especially in wheat. Wheat is one of the most widely grown crops in the world and currently only two major herbicide-resistant wheat groups have been commercialized to manage weeds in a cost-effective manner. However, sustainable wheat production is threatened by the expanding occurrence of herbicide-resistant weed populations with limited efforts to discover new herbicide molecules. Selective control of certain problematic weeds in wheat was impossible until development and introduction of the technologies, Clearfield and Co AXium Production Systems. However, the current limitations of reliance on specific herbicides and evolution of resistant weeds mandate precautions and considerations when using these systems to prevent the loss of existing herbicide resources and continue sustainable wheat production. The focus of this review is to provide an overview of natural pre-existing herbicide resistance and development of herbicide-resistant technologies in wheat. 4A novel similarity measure between intuitionistic fuzzy sets based on the mid points of transformed triangular fuzzy numbers with applications to pattern recognition and medical diagnosis显示文摘Similarity measure is an essential tool to compare and determine the degree of similarity between intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). In this paper, a new similarity measure between intuitionistic fuzzy sets based on the mid points of transformed triangular fuzzy numbers is proposed. The proposed similarity measure provides reasonable results not only for the sets available in the literature but also gives very reasonable results, especially for fuzzy sets as well as for most intuitionistic fuzzy sets. To provide supportive evidence, the proposed similarity measure is tested on certain sets available in literature and is also applied to pattern recognition and medical diagnosis problems.
