| 1 | The utility of point-of-care ultrasound in the assessment of volume status in acute and critically ill patients显示文摘BACKGROUND:Volume resuscitation has only been demonstrated to be effective in approximately fifty percent of patients.The remaining patients do not respond to volume resuscitation and may even develop adverse outcomes(such as acute pulmonary edema necessitating endotracheal intubation).We believe that point-of-care ultrasound is an excellent modality by which to adequately predict which patients may benefi t from volume resuscitation.DATA RESOURCES:We performed a search using PubMed,Scopus,and MEDLINE.The following search terms were used:fluid responsiveness,ultrasound,non-invasive,hemodynamic,fluid challenge,and passive leg raise.Preference was given to clinical trials and review articles that were most relevant to the topic of assessing a patient’s cardiovascular ability to respond to intravenous fl uid administration using ultrasound.RESULTS:Point-of-care ultrasound can be easily employed to measure the diameter and collapsibility of various large vessels including the inferior vena cava,common carotid artery,subclavian vein,internal jugular vein,and femoral vein.Such parameters are closely related to dynamic measures of fluid responsiveness and can be used by providers to help guide fluid resuscitation in critically ill patients.CONCLUSION:Ultrasound in combination with passive leg raise is a non-invasive,costand time-effective modality that can be employed to assess volume status and response to fluid resuscitation.Traditionally sonographic studies have focused on the evaluation of large veins such as the inferior vena cava,and internal jugular vein.A number of recently published studies also demonstrate the usefulness of evaluating large arteries to predict volume status. | Ali Pourmand Matthew Pyle David Yamane Kazi Sumon Sarah E.Frasure | 2019 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2019，10，4： | 18 |
| 2 | 利拉鲁肽对高脂诱导肥胖小鼠瘦素、脂肪分布及含量的影响显示文摘目的观察利拉鲁肽对高脂诱导的C57BL/6小鼠肥胖模型瘦素、体内脂肪含量及分布的影响。方法 4周龄C57BL/6小鼠60只,随机分为正常对照组(n=15)和高脂喂养组(n=45)。高脂喂养组给予40%脂肪含量高脂饲料喂养,正常对照组给予普通饲料喂养,构建肥胖小鼠模型至20周龄时,将造模成功的高脂喂养组随机分为利拉鲁肽组、饮食干预组(普通饲料喂养)和继续高脂喂养组(高脂饲料喂养),每组15只。利拉鲁肽组腹腔注射利拉鲁肽(稀释于双蒸水中)[100μg/(kg·d)],饮食干预组、继续高脂喂养组和正常对照组腹腔注射生理盐水[0.017 m L/(kg·d)]。监测记录各组体质量。药物干预12周后于10%水合氯醛麻醉下处死全部小鼠,利用磁共振测定小鼠体内脂肪含量,采用竞争法测定外周血瘦素含量,酶法测定外周血血脂水平。结果利拉鲁肽组体质量最低,与正常对照组、饮食干预组、继续高脂喂养组相比差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);利拉鲁肽组瘦素水平下降,与饮食干预组、继续高脂喂养组差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);利拉鲁肽组血脂水平下降,甘油三酯含量与正常对照组、继续高脂喂养组相比差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),总胆固醇含量仅与继续高脂喂养组差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);利拉鲁肽组脂肪总含量、肠系膜脂肪、附睾脂肪、肾周脂肪、肩胛下脂肪、皮下脂肪与其他各组比较均差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论利拉鲁肽可明显减轻肥胖小鼠的体质量、降低瘦素水平,有降脂和调节脂肪分布的作用。 | 沙莎 Chowdhury Sumon Rahman 陈丽 何芹 张婧 范珊珊 孙磊 | 2016 | 山东大学学报(医学版)2016，54，8： | 5 |

| 13 | Time-series prediction of shellfish farm closure: A comparison of alternatives显示文摘Shellfish farms are closed for harvest when microbial pollutants are present.Such pollutants are typically present in rainfall runoff from various land uses in catchments.Experts currently use a number of observable parameters(river flow,rainfall,salinity)as proxies to determine when to close farms.We have proposed using the short term historical rainfall data as a time-series prediction problem where we aim to predict the closure of shellfish farms based only on rainfall.Time-series event prediction consists of two steps:(i)feature extraction,and(ii)prediction.A number of data mining challenges exist for these scenarios:(i)which feature extraction method best captures the rainfall pattern over successive days that leads to opening or closure of the farms?,(ii)The farm closure events occur infrequently and this leads to a class imbalance problem;the question is what is the best way to deal with this problem?In this paper we have analysed and compared different combinations of balancing methods(under-sampling and over-sampling),feature extraction methods(cluster profile,curve fitting,Fourier Transform,Piecewise Aggregate Approximation,and Wavelet Transform)and learning algorithms(neural network,support vector machine,k-nearest neighbour,decision tree,and Bayesian Network)to predict closure events accurately considering the above data mining challenges.We have identified the best combination of techniques to accurately predict shellfish farm closure from rainfall,given the above data mining challenges. | Ashfaqur Rahman Md Sumon Shahriar Claire D’Este Greg Smith John McCulloch Greg Timms | 2014 | Information Processing in Agriculture2014，1，1： | 1 |
