2Mechanical behaviors of alumina ceramics doped with rare-earth oxides显示文摘The effects of three types of additives Y2O3,La2O3,and Sm2O3 on the sintering and mechanical behaviors of alumina ceramics were investigated.The bending strengths of alumina ceramics with Sm2O3 and Y2O3 additions were 455 and 439 MPa,respectively,higher than that with La2O3 addition.The fracture toughness of the ceramics with Sm2O3 and Y2O3 were also higher than that with La2O3 addition.The fracture mode of rare earth oxides doped alumina ceramics exhibited obvious transgranular fractures as well as intergranular fracture.The results of research show that the improvement of bending strength and fracture toughness of alumina ceramics with rare earth oxides was achieved by refining the grain size and strengthening the grain boundary.YAO Yijun LI Chuncheng WANG Ling JIANG Xiaolong QIU Tai 2010Rare Metals2010,29,5:8

4Effects of rare earth La on the microstructure and melting property of(Ag-Cu_(28))-30Sn alloys prepared by mechanical alloying显示文摘To obtain novel intermediate temperature alloy solders with a melting temperature of 400-600°C,nominal(Ag-Cu28)-30Sn alloys without or with a trace addition(0.5 or 1.0 wt.%) of rare earth(RE) element La were prepared by mechanical alloying.The aim of this research is to investigate the effects of the addition of La on the microstructures,alloying process and melting properties of(Ag-Cu28)-30Sn alloys.The results show that the addition of La produces no new phase.A trace amount of La addition can effectively refine the grain size,but the excessive addition of 1.0 wt.% La inhibits the alloying process.The influence of La on the melting temperatures of solder alloys is negligible.However,the trace addition of 0.5 wt.% La can distinctly reduce the fusion zone and improve the melting property of(Ag-Cu28)-30Sn alloys.LI Liangfeng QIU Tai YANG Jian FENG Yongbao 2011Rare Metals2011,30,1:6
5A flexible thermoelectric device based on a Bi_(2)Te_(3)-carbon nanotube hybrid显示文摘Thermoelectric(TE)materials and devices have attracted great attention due to their ability to convert waste heat to electrical power and active cooling.However,the conventional bulk TE materials are inorganic semiconductors with inherent brittleness and rigidity.They cannot closely contact curved heat sources and sinks,which limits their application in modern electronics.It remains a big challenge to fabricate high-performance TE materials and devices with good flexibility.Here,we report a flexible TE device comprised of a single wall carbon nanotube(SWCNT)network and(0001)-textured Bi_(2)Te_(3)nanocrystals prepared by a magnetron sputtering technique.The unique Bi_(2)Te_(3)-SWCNT hybrid structure has a TE figure of merit(ZT)value of^0.23 at^330 K.A prototype TE device made of this hybrid gives a maximum output power density of^0.93 m W cm^(-2)under a temperature difference of 25 K at ambient temperature and shows good flexibility under bending.Our results open up a new way to the development of flexible TEs and their application in self-powered portable devices.Ying Li Jixiang Qiao Yang Zhao Qing Lan Pengyan Mao Jianhang Qiu Kaiping Tai Chang Liu Huiming Cheng 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23:3
6Microstructure and melting properties of Ag–Cu–In intermediate-temperature brazing alloys显示文摘The microstructure and melting properties of ternary Ag–Cu–In intermediate-temperature alloys(400–600 °C) prepared by electric arc melting were investigated in this work. The melting properties, phase compositions, microstructure and hardness were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and micro-hardness tester, respectively. The results show that the melting properties, phase compositions, microstructure and hardness of Ag–Cu–In brazing alloys are substantially different when adding different levels of indium. Indium element could effectively reduce the melting temperatures of(Ag–Cu28)–x In alloys, and the melting temperatures of(Ag–Cu28)–25In alloy are located at 497.86 and 617.48 °C. When the indium content varies from 5 wt% and 10 wt%, the dominant phases in the alloys are Ag-rich and Cu-rich phases, and their granular crystals are smaller than 0.5 lm. When the indium content is higher than 15 wt%, the phase compositions of the alloy are Ag4 In and Cu11In9, and the microstructure exhibits dendritic crystals with a uniform distribution. 7Dynamic expression of rat heat shock protein gp96 and its gene during development of hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is characterized by multicause, obvious multistage and multifocal processes of tumor progression. The development of HCC is related intimately to overexpression and signal transduction of many cellular factors. This study was undertaken to investigate the dynamic expression and alteration of heat shock protein (HSP) gp96 along with its gene during HCC development. METHODS: A rat model of hepatoma induced with 2-fluorenylacetamide (2-FAA, 0.05%) was established in male Sprague-Dawley rats. Total RNA and pathological changes were observed during hepatocarcinogenesis. Total RNAs were transcribed into cDNA by reverse transcription and the gene fragment of gp96 was amplified by nested RT-PCR. The gp96 expression in rat liver tissues was semi-quantitatively analyzed by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: Histological examination suggested that hepato-cytes in rats fed with 2-FAA showed vacuole-like denaturation at the early stages, then dysplastic nodules appeared at the middle stage, and finally progressed to tubercles of cancerous nests. 8Structure,morphology,and microwave dielectric properties of SmAlO_(3) synthesized by stearic acid route显示文摘A rapid and facile approach was developed for the synthesis of ultrafine SmAlO_(3) powders through the combustion of stearic acid precursors.The obtained products were characterized by typical techniques including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier Transform Infrared(FT-IR),thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis(TG-DTA),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)to analyze the phase composition and microstructure.The dielectric characteristics of SmAlO_(3) microwave ceramics,using the as-obtained products as original materials,were also studied.Compared with the conventional solid-state reaction method,the synthesis temperature was dramatically reduced to 750℃.The large-size sheet structure was composed of a number of micro/nano-scale crystallites,which were mostly irregular in shape due to the mutual growth and overlapping shapes of adjacent grains.The SmAlO_(3) ceramics with high density and uniform microstructure were obtained after sintering at 1500℃ for 4 h due to the favorable sintering activity of the as-synthesized powders.In addition,desired dielectric properties at microwave frequencies(dielectric constant ε_(r)=20.22,quality factor Q·f=74110 GHz,and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency τ_(f)=-74.6 ppm/℃)were achieved.Jiamao LI Chuimin ZHANG Hui LIU Tai QIU Chuangang FAN 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,5:3
9Development and application of a throughflow method for high-loaded axial flow compressors显示文摘In this paper, a novel engineering platform for throughflow analysis based on streamline curvature approach is developed for the research of a 5-stage compressor. The method includes several types of improved loss and deviation angle models, which are combined with the authors' adjustments for the purpose of reflecting the influences of three-dimensional internal flow in high-loaded multistage compressors with higher accuracy. In order to validate the reliability and robustness of the method, a series of test cases, including a subsonic compressor P&W 3S1, a transonic rotor NASA Rotor 1B and especially an advanced high pressure core compressor GE E^3 HPC, are conducted. Then the computation procedure is applied to the research of a 5-stage compressor which is designed for developing an industrial gas turbine. The overall performance and aerodynamic configuration predicted by the procedure, both at design- and part-speed conditions, are analyzed and compared with experimental results, which show a good agreement. Further discussion regarding the universality of the method compared with CFD is made afterwards. The throughflow method is verified as a reliable and convenient tool for aerodynamic design and performance prediction of modern high-loaded compressors. 10High-thermally conductive AlN-based microwave attenuating composite ceramics with spherical graphite as attenuating agent显示文摘High-thermally conductive AlN-based microwave attenuating composite ceramics with spherical graphite(SG) as the attenuating agent were fabricated through hot-pressing sintering. The SG maintains its three-dimensional(3D) morphology within the sintered bodies, which considerably impedes the sintering of the composites to some extent but slightly influences on the growth of AlN grains. The addition of SG reduces the strength of the composites, but provides a moderate toughening effect at the optimal addition amount(3.8 MPa·m^(1/2) at 4 wt% SG). Benefiting from the low anisotropy, high thermal conductivity, and the 3D morphology of SG, the composites exhibit a relatively higher thermal conductivity(76.82 W·m^(–1)·K^(–1) at 10 wt% SG) compared with composites added with non-spherical attenuating agent. The dielectric constant and loss(8.2–12.4 GHz) increase remarkably as the amount of SG added increases up to 8 wt%, revealing that the incorporation of SG improves the dielectric property of the composite. The composite with 7 wt% SG exhibits the best absorption performance with a minimum reflection loss of –13.9 dB at 12.4 GHz and an effective absorbing bandwidth of 0.87 GHz. The excellent overall properties of the SG/AlN microwave attenuating composites render them as a promising material for various applications. 19Microwave sintering of Ca_(0.6)La_(0.2667)TiO_3 microwave dielectric ceramics显示文摘Ca0.6La0.2667TiO3 ceramics were prepared by conventional and microwave sintering techniques and their sinterability,microstruc-ture,and microwave dielectric properties were investigated in detail for comparison.Densified Ca0.6La0.2667TiO3 ceramics were obtained by microwave sintering at 1350oC for 30 min and by conventional sintering at 1450oC for 4 h.An unusual phenomenon was found that some larger grains(grain size range:8-10 μm) inclined to assemble in one area but some smaller ones(grain size range:2-4 μm) inclined to gather in another area in the microwave sintered ceramics.The microwave dielectric properties of Ca0.6La0.2667TiO3 ceramics prepared by micro-wave sintering at 1350oC were as follows:dielectric constant(εr) = 119.6,quality factor(Qf) = 17858.5 GHz,and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(τf) = 155.5 ppm/oC.In contrast,the microwave dielectric properties of the ceramics prepared by conventional sintering at 1450oC were εr = 117.4,Qf = 13375 GHz,and τf = 217.2 ppm/oC.Jia-mao Li Tai Qiu 2012International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2012,19,3:1
