1In vivo evaluation of additively manufacturedmulti-layered scaffold for the repair of large osteochondral defects显示文摘The repair of osteochondral defects is one of the major clinical challenges in orthopaedics.Well-established osteochondral tissue engineering methods have shown promising results for the early treatment of small defects.However,less success has been achieved for the regeneration of large defects,which is mainly due to the mechanical environment of the joint and the heterogeneous nature of the tissue.In this study,we developed a multi-layered osteochondral scaffold to match the heterogeneous nature of osteochondral tissue by harnessing additive manufacturing technologies and combining the established art laser sintering and material extrusion techniques.The developed scaffold is based on a titanium and polylactic acid matrix-reinforced collagen“sandwich”composite system.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the scaffold were examined,and its safety and efficacy in the repair of large osteochondral defects were tested in an ovine condyle model.The 12-week in vivo evaluation period revealed extensive and significantly higher bone in-growth in the multi-layered scaffold compared with the collagen–HAp scaffold,and the achieved stable mechanical fixation provided strong support to the healing of the overlying cartilage,as demonstrated by hyaline-like cartilage formation.The histological examination showed that the regenerated cartilage in the multi-layer scaffold group was superior to that formed in the control group.Chondrogenic genes such as aggrecan and collagen-II were upregulated in the scaffold and were higher than those in the control group.The findings showed the safety and efficacy of the cell-free“translation-ready”osteochondral scaffold,which has the potential to be used in a one-step surgical procedure for the treatment of large osteochondral defects.Maryam Tamaddon Gordon Blunn Rongwei Tan Pan Yang Xiaodan Sun Shen-Mao Chen Jiajun Luo Ziyu Liu Ling Wang Dichen Li Ricardo Donate Mario Monzón Chaozong Liu 2022Bio-Design and Manufacturing2022,5,3:2
2Study on the Catalytic Reforming Law of Solid-Phase Carbon and Nitrogen Sources Loaded with MnO_(2)at Low Temperatures in Tahe Heavy Oil显示文摘MnO_(2)/Melem composites were synthesized with MnO_(2)nanoparticles loaded onto the Melem using the hydrothermal method.As raw materials for C and N carriers,Melem was prepared from melamine roasted at 354℃,and KMnO_(4)as a raw material for Mn,MnO_(2)nanoparticles were prepared using the hydrothermal synthesis of KMnO_(4).Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and a laser particle size analyzer were used for structural characterization,and the catalytic oxidation performance of the heavy oil was investigated at different reaction temperatures(100℃to 180℃)using MnO_(2)/Melem with an oxidant and donor protonic acid.The results showed that the synthesizedβ-MnO_(2)nanoparticles were successfully loaded onto the Melem surface;the oil samples before and after the reaction at different temperatures were subjected to SARA analysis using Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),elemental analysis,gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and viscosity tests,respectively.It was determined that the hydrocarbons in the crude oil were converted to heavy mass by oxidation reactions with the oxidant mainly through a low-temperature oxidation process below 140℃in the heavy oil when the temperature exceeds 140℃,in addition to the oxidation reaction with the oxidant,a cleavage reaction in the carbon chain occurs to form hydrocarbon substances with lower molecular weights.Tan Dichen Ma Zhaofei Peng Gaoyao Xiong Pan Yan Xuemin 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,4:0
3Synthesis of Hierarchical Porous Fe_(2)O_(3)/Al_(2)O_(3) Materials and Study on Catalytic Viscosity Reduction of Heavy Oil显示文摘Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles were first dispersed in a sol solution containing an aluminum component introduced by an initial doping method.Composite catalyst Hierarchical Porous Fe_(2)O_(3)/Al_(2)O_(3) materials(HPFA)were then synthesized through a sol-gel method via phase separation.The performance of HPFA was compared with that of Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticle catalysts.The structure of the composite catalyst was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,N_(2) adsorption/desorption,and crush strength testing.The results showed that the Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles could be loaded into the porous skeletons of Hierarchical Porous Al_(2)O_(3) materials(HPA)to achieve a uniform dispersion while avoiding agglomeration,which improved the mechanical strength of the porous materials significantly.The HPFA was then used as a catalyst in the hydrothermal viscosity reduction process of Tuha heavy oil,and the viscosity reduction was investigated.The viscosity reduction rate of HPFA was 81%,which was better than that of the Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles(56%)and HPA(47%).Wu Peiyue Ma Zhaofei Yang Haiyang Xiong Pan Tan Dichen Yan Xuemin 2022China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2022,24,4:0
4Synthesis and Performance Evaluation of Anti Temperature and Salt Resistant Polymer Filtrate Reducer显示文摘In the experiment,the filtrate loss of synthetic fluid loss control fluid was recorded in room temperature and high temperature in the composite brine base and sodium chloride brine base slurry,and compared with the filtrate loss before base polymer addition.In this way,the effect of filtration loss and salt resistance and temperature resistance of synthetic polymers were evaluated.The influence of the synthesized polymer on the rheological properties of the composite brine was also evaluated by determining the viscosity of the drilling fluid added to the base slurry and polymer.In the end,the structure of the synthetic polymers was characterized through the infrared spectrum,which initially analyzed through the mechanism of its function in reducing the filter loss.Finally,the products produced according to the recipe are given to the site and added to the two wells to record the drilling fluid performance data.Zhu Zhu Huaiyuan Long Dichen Tan Song Wang Zuwen Wang Shunyuan Zhang Yu Deng 2019Open Journal of Yangtze Oil and Gas2019,4,4:0
