1Relative humidity reconstruction for northwestern China's Altay Mountains using tree-ring δ^(18)O显示文摘Relative humidity is an important factor in water and water vapor feedback cycles.In this study,we established a 222-year annual tree-ring δ^(18)O chronology for Siberian larch(Larix sibirica Ldb.)from the Altay Mountains in northwestern China.Climate response analyses revealed that the relative humidity was the primary factor limiting tree-ring δ^(18)O fractionation.Based on our analysis,tree-ring δ^(18)O can be used to reconstruct the July–August relative humidity based on both a reasonable mechanism of tree-ring δ^(18)O fractionation and a statistically significant regression model.We used this model to reconstruct variations in the July–August relative humidity,and the model explained 47.4% of the total variation in the measured relative humidity data from 1961 to 2011.The relative humidity in the study area increased from 1900 to the 1990s and decreased thereafter.Two regime-shift dry periods were detected during the study period(one from 1817 to 1830 and the other from 2004 to 2011).Guobao Xu Xiaohong Liu Dahe Qin Tuo Chen Wenzhi Wang Guoju Wu Weizhen Sun Wenling An Xiaomin Zeng 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,2:14
2Abiogenic hydrocarbons in commercial gases from the Songliao Basin,China显示文摘This paper discusses the kinetic fractionation, composition and distribution characteristics of carbon and hydrogen isotopes for various alkane gases formed in different environments, by different mecha- nisms and from different sources in nature. It is demonstrated that the biodegradation or thermode- gradation of complex high-molecule sedimentary organic material can form microbial gas or thermogenic gas. The δ 13C1 value ranges from -110‰ to -50‰ for microbial gases but from -50‰ to -35‰ (even heavier) for thermogenic gases. Controlled by the kinetic isotope fractionation, both microbial and thermogenic gases have δ 13C and δ D values characterized by normal distribution, i.e. δ 13C1< δ 13C2< δ 13C3< δ 13C4 and δ DCH4< δ DC2H6< δ DC3H8<δ DC4H10, and by a positive correlation between the δ 13C and δ D values. Simple carbonbearing molecules (CH4, CO and CO2) can form abiogenic alkane gases via polymerization in the abiological chemical process in nature, with δ 13C1 heavier than -30‰. Moreover, controlled by the kinetic isotope fractionation, abiogenic alkane gases are characterized by a reverse distribution of δ 13C values and a normal trend of δ D values, namely δ 13C1> δ 13C2> δ 13C3> δ 13C4 and δ DCH4<δ DC2H6< δ DC3H8< δ DC4H10. The δ 13C values and δ D values are negatively correlated. Natural gases from 26 commercial gas wells distributed in the Xujiaweizi and Yingshan-Miaotaizi faulted depressions in the Songliao Basin, China, show δ13C1 values ranging from -30.5‰ to -16.7‰ with a very narrow δ D range between -203‰―-196‰. These gases are characterized by a reverse distribution of δ 13C values but a normal distribution of δ D values, and a negative correlation between their δ 13C and δ D values, indicating an abiological origin. The present study has revealed that abiogenic hydrocarbons not only exist in nature but also can make significant contribution to commercial gas reserviors. It is estimated that the reserve volume of alkane gases with abiogenic characteristics in these 26 gas wells in the Songliao Basin is over 500×108 m3. 4CO2 flooding strategy to enhance heavy oil recovery显示文摘CO_(2) flooding is one of the most promising techniques to enhance both light and heavy oil recovery.In light oil recovery,the production pressure in CO_(2) flooding in general keeps constant in order to maintain the miscibility of injected CO_(2) and crude oil;while in heavy oil recovery,a depleting pressure scheme may be able to induce foamy oil flow,thus the oil recovery could be further enhanced.In this study,different pressure control schemes were tested by 1-D core-flooding experiments to obtain an optimized one.Numerical simulations were conducted to history match all experimental data to understand the mechanisms and characteristics of different CO_(2) flooding strategies.For the core-flooding experiments,1500 mD sandstone cores,formation brine and a heavy oil sample with a viscosity of about 869.3 cp at reservoir condition(55℃ and 11 MPa)were used.Before each CO_(2) flooding test,early stage water-flooding was conducted until the water cut reached 90%.Different CO_(2) injection rates and production pressure control strategies were tested through core-flooding experiments.Experimental results indicated that a slower CO_(2) injection rate(2 ml/min)led to a higher recovery factor from 31.1%to 36.7%,compared with a high CO_(2) injection rate of 7 ml/min;for the effects of different production strategies,a constant production pressure at the production port yielded a recovery factor of 31.1%;while a pressure depletion with 47.2 kPa/min at the production port yielded 7%more oil recovery;and the best pressure control scheme in which the production pressure keeping constant during CO_(2) injection period,then depleting the model pressure with the injector shut-in yielded a recovery factor of 42.5%of the initial OOIP.For the numerical simulations study,the same oil relative permeability curve was applied to match the experimental results to all tests.Different gas relative permeability curves were obtained when the production pressure schemes are different.A much lower gas relative permeability curve and a higher critical gas saturation were achieved in the best pressure control scheme case compared to other cases.The lower gas relative permeability curve indicates that foamy oil was formed in the pressure depletion processes.Through this study,it is suggested that the pressure control scheme can be optimized in order to maximize the CO_(2) injection performance for enhanced heavy oil recovery.Tuo Huang Xiang Zhou Huaijun Yang Guangzhi Liao Fanhua Zeng 2017Petroleum2017,3,1:3
5Transcriptomics-based identification and characterization of 11 CYP450 genes of Panax ginseng responsive to MeJA显示文摘Cytochromes P450 (CYP450s),a superfamily of mono-oxygenases,are essential to generate highly functionalized secondary metabolites in plants and contribute to the diversification of specialized triterpenoid biosynthesis in eudicots.However,screening and identifying the exact CYP450 genes in ginsenoside biosynthesis is extremely challenging due to existence of large quantities of members in CYP450 superfamily.Therefore,to screen the CYP450 genes involved in ginsenoside bio- synthesis,transcriptome dataset of Panax ginseng was created in our previous work using the technique of the next-generation sequencing.On the basis of bioinformatics analysis,16 putative CYP450 genes with significant differential expression were screened from the dataset and submit- ted to GenBank,in which 11 of them have been cloned.Methyl jasmonate (MeJA)was used as an elicitor to analyze the expression profiles of candidate CYP450 genes by quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR).The results of qRT-PCR analysis revealed that the expression of some CYP450 genes were strongly induced by MeJA and showed different transcription levels at different treatment time points.Homology analysis indicated that each putative CYP450 protein of P.ginseng has a conserved domain consisting of E-E-R-F-P-R-G. 6In situ two-step electrochemical preparation of fluoride-free nickel-based compound film on nickel plate for supercapacitors显示文摘A nickel-based compound layer was prepared on a nickel plate by anodization in a 75 wt% H_3PO_4 solution containing NH_4F. This layer was then treated by galvanostatic charge/discharge(GCD) until a black outer layer was detached, leaving behind a film on the nickel plate as a binder-free electrode material for supercapacitors. The microstructural characterization shows that the film consists of Ni(OH)_2and NiO, and no fluoride is found in the as-obtained film. Electrochemical tests demonstrate that this fluoride-free film electrode exhibits a high capacitance of 954 F g^(-1)at 7.5 Ag^(-1), excellent rate capability(a 19.5 % capacitance reduction with the current density increasing to 120 Ag^(-1)) and cycling stability.Within 3500 cycles, the specific capacitance does not decrease, but rather increases from 840 Fg^(-1)to approximately 1092 Fg^(-1)in the first 100 cycles at 60 Ag^(-1), and remains stable until the aforementioned layer is detached.Zhi-Biao Zou Xin-Bo Xiong Jun Ma Xie-Rong Zeng Tuo Huang Jun-Jie Li Bin Li 2016Rare Metals2016,35,12:2

14Application and verification of simultaneous determination of cellulose δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O in Picea shrenkiana tree rings from northwestern China using the high-temperature pyrolysis method显示文摘Stable isotopes in tree-ring cellulose provide important data in ecological,archaeological,and paleoenvironmental researches,thereby,the demand for stable isotope analyses is increasing rapidly.Simultaneous measurement of cellulose δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values from tree rings would reduce the cost of isotopic commodities and improve the analytical efficiency compared with conventional separate measurement.In this study,we compared the δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values of tree-ringα-cellulose from Tianshan spruce(Picea schrenkiana)in an arid site in the drainage basin of the Urumqi River in Xinjiang of northwestern China based on separate and simultaneous measurements,using the combustion method(at1050°C)and the high-temperature pyrolysis method(at 1350°C and 1400°C).We verified the results of simultaneous measurement using the outputs from separate measurement and found that both methods(separate and simultaneous)produced similar δ^(13)C values.The two-point calibrated method improved the results(range and variation)of δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values.The mean values,standard deviations,and trends of the tree-ring δ^(13)C obtained by the combustion method were similar to those by the pyrolysis method followed by two-point calibration.The simultaneously measured δ^(18)O from the pyrolysis method at 1400°C had a nearly constant offset with that the pyrolysis method at 1350°C due to isotopic-dependence on the reaction temperature.However,they showed similar variations in the time series.The climate responses inferred from simultaneously and separately measured δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O did not differ between the two methods.The tree-ring δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values were negatively correlated with standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index from May to August.In addition,the δ^(18)O was significantly correlated with temperature(positive),precipitation(negative),and relative humidity(negative)from May to August.The tree-ring δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O values determined simultaneously through the high-temperature pyrolysis method could produce acceptable and reliable stable isotope series.The simultaneous isotopic measurement can greatly reduce the cost and time requirement compared with the separate isotopic measurement.These results are consistent with the previous studies at humid sites,suggesting that the simultaneous determination of δ^(13)C and δ^(18)O in tree-ringα-cellulose can be used in wide regions.XU Guobao LIU Xiaohong SUN Weizhen CHEN Tuo ZHANG Xuanwen ZENG Xiaomin WU Guoju WANG Wenzhi QIN Dahe 2018Journal of Arid Land2018,10,6:1
