1AUTOMATIC TEXT SUMMARIZATION BASED ON TEXTUAL COHESION显示文摘This paper presents two different algorithms that derive the cohesion structure in the form of lexical chains from two kinds of language resources HowNet and TongYiCiCiLin. The re-search that connects the cohesion structure of a text to the derivation of its summary is displayed. A novel model of automatic text summarization is devised,based on the data provided by lexical chains from original texts. Moreover,the construction rules of lexical chains are modified accord-ing to characteristics of the knowledge database in order to be more suitable for Chinese summa-rization. 3Lead Isotopic Steep-Dipping Zone and Mineralization—An Example from Mineral Deposits Concentrated Area in East Qinling,China显示文摘Lead isotopic geochemical steep-dipping zone usually exists on inhomogeneous boundaries of earth blocks. Its crossing with the geophysical gradient zone often convergently occurs at giant deposits. Deep structures or concealed structural planes obviously have the coupling relationship with the convergent area of mineral deposits. The geochemical steep-dipping zone is usually distributed along the boundary of ancient continental blocks. Its crossing effect with geophysical gradient zone is usually presented as depression or swell of Moho discontinuity on the crossing direction with the ancient continental margin, which would lead to form deep fractures of earth crust at block margins or lead to adjustment of earth crust texture. The deep hydrothermal liquid would rise up along the structural planes to form the convergent areas of mineral deposits. For example, Luonan- Luanchuan area in east Qinling is a typical crossed area of the geochemical steepdipping zone and geophysical gradient zone. The mineral deposit belt extends along EW direction. It was controlled by the geochemical steepdipping zone equidistantly distributed along NE direction like a string of beads controlled by a gravity gradient zone in NE direction and a mantle depression slope. Along a plunging mantle syncline on EW plunging direction, from the east to the west, checkform was distributed which controls synergic crustmantle granoporphyry rocks. 4System resilience enhancement: Smart grid and beyond显示文摘Boosting the resilience of power systems is a core requirement of smart grids. In fact, resilience enhancement is crucial to all critical infrastructure systems.In this study, we review the current research on system resilience enhancement within and beyond smart grids. In addition, we elaborate on resilience definition and resilience quantification and discuss several challenges and opportunities for system resilience enhancement. 5COMBINING FEATURE SCALING ESTIMATION WITH SVM CLASSIFIER DESIGN USING GA APPROACH显示文摘This letter adopts a GA (Genetic Algorithm) approach to assist in learning scaling of features that are most favorable to SVM (Support Vector Machines) classifier, which is named as GA-SVM. The relevant coefficients of various features to the classification task, measured by real-valued scaling, are estimated efficiently by using GA. And GA exploits heavy-bias operator to promote sparsity in the scaling of features. There are many potential benefits of this method:Feature selection is performed by eliminating irrelevant features whose scaling is zero, an SVM classifier that has enhanced generalization ability can be learned simultaneously. Experimental comparisons using original SVM and GA-SVM demonstrate both economical feature selection and excellent classification accuracy on junk e-mail recognition problem and Internet ad recognition problem. The experimental results show that comparing with original SVM classifier, the number of support vector decreases significantly and better classification results are achieved based on GA-SVM. 6RESEARCH OF PINYIN-TO-CHARACTER CONVERSION BASED ON MAXIMUM ENTROPY MODEL显示文摘This paper applied Maximum Entropy (ME) model to Pinyin-To-Character (PTC) conversion in-stead of Hidden Markov Model (HMM) that could not include complicated and long-distance lexical informa-tion. Two ME models were built based on simple and complex templates respectively, and the complex one gave better conversion result. Furthermore, conversion trigger pair of y A → y B cBwas proposed to extract the long-distance constrain feature from the corpus; and then Average Mutual Information (AMI) was used to se-lect conversion trigger pair features which were added to the ME model. 20Efficient SVM-based Recognition of Chinese Personal Names显示文摘This paper provides a flexible and efficient method to identify Chinese personal names based on SVM (Support Vector Machines). In its approach, forming rules of personal name is employed to select candidate set, then SVM based identification strategies is used to recognize real personal name in the candidate set. Basic semanteme of word in context and frequency information of word inside candidate are selected as features in its methodology, which reduce the feature space scale dramatically and calculate more efficiently.
