1Nutritional Status of Children during and post-Global Economic Crisis in China显示文摘Objective To describe the impact of the global economic crisis on the nutritional status of children in China during and after the crisis.Methods Data from 1990 to 2010 were sourced from the National Food and Nutrition Surveillance System.Approximately 16 000 children under 5 years old were selected using a stratified random cluster method from 40 surveillance sites.Anthropometric and hemoglobin measurements for children under 5 were conducted.Nutritional status was determined according to WHO child growth standards.Results Prevalence of underweight and stunting in children under 5 had a downward trend.Underweight prevalence was close to normal (less than 5%),with prevalence of stunting 12.6% in 2009 and 12.1% in 2010 in rural areas.Prevalence of stunting in infants under 6 months and 6‐12 months old in poorer rural areas increased from 5.7%‐9.1% and 6.7%‐12.5%,respectively,in 2008‐2009.This trend also continued post‐crisis in 2010.Prevalence of stunting in children left behind by mothers was 20%‐30% higher than in children the same age in general and poorer rural areas.Prevalence of anemia in children did not change in rural areas,but prevalence of anemia in all age groups increased in poorer rural areas,especially in children under 24 months old.Level reached 30%‐40% in 2009,and fluctuated in 2010.Conclusion The nutritional status of children under 5 was comparatively stable during and after the global economic crisis,attributable to the Chinese government's policy response.The nutritional status in poorer rural areas fluctuated in response to the economic crisis and,thus,relevant action and intervention must be taken immediately to help the most vulnerable population in poorer rural areas.A proper national nutritional strategy for children under 2 years old,including nutrition supplementation for pregnant women and in‐home fortification for complementary feeding,should be initiated.CHEN ChunMing HE Wu WANG YuYing DENG LiNa JIA FengMei 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:22
2Dating of the Karakorum Strike-slip Fault显示文摘This paper mainly discusses the timing of the Karakorum strike-slip fault, and gives a brief introduction of its structures, offset, and deformational style. This fault strikes NNW-SSE. Asymmetrical folds, stretching lineation, S-C fabrics, feldspar and quartz (-porphyroclasts, domino structure, shear cleavages and faults in the fault zone are products of tectonic movements. They all indicate a dextral slip sense of faulting. Mylonitic bands are widely developed along this fault. Phengite appears, indicating rather high deformational pressure. Geochronological data indicate that the Karakorum strike-slip faulting occurred from 6.88(0.36 to 8.75(0.25 Ma. 3Origin and Geodynamic Implications of Concealed Granite in Shadong Tungsten Deposit, Xinjiang, China: Zircon U-Pb Chronology, Geochemistry, and Sr-Nd-Hf Isotope Constraint显示文摘Shadong deposit is the first large-scale tungsten deposit found in the East Tianshan orogenic belt, and the geologic characteristics of the deposit indicate that the deeply concealed granite body is genetically related with the mineralization. The LA-ICPMS U-Pb age of zircons from the Shadong concealed granite obtained in this research is 239±2.0 Ma, belonging to the Middle Triassic. The whole rock samples are metaluminous to slightly peraluminous(A/CNK=0.95–1.02) with low contents of SiO_2(64.0 wt.%–68.5 wt.%) and low K_2 O/Na_2 O ratios(0.73–0.96). The samples reveal enrichment of K, Rb, Th and depletion of Nb, Ta, P, Ti and have a negative slope from La to Lu(La_N/Yb_N=16.29–36.8) with weak negative Eu anomaly(Eu/Eu~*= 0.71–0.82). Initial ^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr ratios of whole rock range of 0.706 59–0.707 75, ε_(Nd)(t) values range from-1.77 to-2.53 and ε_(Hf)(t) values of zircon are between 2.54 and 4.90. The lithogeochemistry and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic characteristics revealed that the concealed granite in Shadong tungsten deposit is I-type granite, and occurs in an intraplate tectonic setting. The magma mixing during intraplating of mantle derived magma intruding into the crust in Indosinian Period is the major formation mechanism of the granite.Of which, the proportion of mantle derived magma ranges from 58% to 60%, and the crustal materials are mainly the metamorphic basement of Xingxingxia Group of Mesoproterozoic Changcheng System, which may provide the main source of ore forming metals of Shadong tungsten deposit.Chao Chen Xinbiao Lu Chunming Wu Xiao Jiang Chen Mao 2018Journal of Earth Science2018,29,1:8
4An ID-based authenticated dynamic group key agreement with optimal round显示文摘Group key agreement protocols are crucial for achieving secure group communications.They are designed to provide a set of users with a shared secret key to achieve cryptographic goal over a public network.When group membership changes,the session key should be refreshed efficiently and securely.Most previous group key agreement protocols need at least two rounds to establish or refresh session keys.In this paper,a dynamic authenticated group key agreement(DAGKA) protocol based on identity-based cryptography is presented.By making use of the members' values stored in previous sessions,our Join and Leave algorithms reduce the computation and communication costs of members.In the proposed protocol,Setup and Join algorithms need one round.The session key can be refreshed without message exchange among remaining users in Leave algorithm,which makes the protocol more practical.Its security is proved under decisional bilinear Diffie-Hellman(DBDH) assumption in random oracle model.TENG JiKai WU ChuanKun TANG ChunMing 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,11:7
5Superior in vitro anticancer effect of biomimetic paclitaxel and triptolide co-delivery system in gastric cancer显示文摘As a well-known anticancer drug,paclitaxel(PTX),a first-line chemotherapeutic agent,remains unsatisfactory for gastric cancer therapy.It is reported that triptolide(TPL)could enhance the anti-gastric cancer effect of PTX.Considering the poor solubility of both drugs,we developed a red blood cell membrane-biomimetic nanosystem,an emerging tool in drug delivery,to co-load paclitaxel and triptolide(red blood cell membrane coated PTX and TPL co-loaded poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)[PLGA]nanoparticles,RP(P/T)).The successful preparation was confirmed in terms of particle size,morphology,and surface markers assays.This biomimetic system could prolong circulation and escape immune surveillance.And these properties were verified by stability,in vitro drug release,and cellular uptake assays.Moreover,the MTT and colony formation assays demonstrated the superior anti-proliferation effect of the RP(P/T)to free drugs.The enhanced antitumor effects of RP(P/T)on migration and invasion were also evaluated by wound-healing and transwell assays.Overall,the bionic co-delivery nanoplatform with improved efficacy in vitro is a promising therapy for gastric cancer.Siwan Wang Hui Jiang Jia Wang Haisi Wu Ting Wu Mengnan Ni Qianqian Zhao You Ji Ziting Zhang Chunming Tang Huae Xu 2021The Journal of Biomedical Research2021,35,4:5
6Text Semantics Based Automatic Summarization for Chinese Videos显示文摘This paper is concerned with the task of automatically summarizing videos, which is important for many video-related applications. Examples include video retrieval, accessing and categorization, et al. Our approach summarizes video semantically from the texts embedded in videos. To improve the accuracy, ant colony algorithm,maximum matching method, Singular value decomposition(SVD) are employed for locating text region, segmenting words and clustering sentences, respectively. Based on these methods, a prototype is developed. 7Dual-turbo receiver architecture for turbo coded MIMO-OFDM systems显示文摘This paper presents a novel architecture of iterative receivers with two layers of iterations for turbo coded multiple-input and multiple-output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM)systems,where soft messages are passed not only between the MIMO detector and the turbo decoder,but also between the two component decoders within the turbo decoder.We first derive the factor graph representation of a turbo coded system as a basic building block for developing the iterative receivers.Then,a new soft message passing schedule over the factor graph is proposed,resulting in the proposed dual-turbo receiver architecture(DTRA).In DTRA,the MIMO detector and the turbo decoder work concurrently,and the soft messages for both layers of iterations are updated instantaneously,instead of the block-based exchange of soft messages in the conventional iterative receivers.In so doing,the processing latency can be greatly reduced while low computational complexity can be achieved.WANG WenJin GAO XiQi WU XiaoFu YOU XiaoHu ZHAO ChunMing WONG Kai-Kit 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,2:5
8利用小角中子散射表征页岩闭孔结构与演化显示文摘随着页岩孔隙网络结构表征更加精细与定量化,页岩中闭孔含量、结构与演化引起了广泛关注。为研究页岩的闭孔特征,通过小角中子散射、氮气吸附、高压压汞和氩离子抛光—场发射扫描电镜等实验手段对四川盆地威201(W201)井中下志留统龙马溪组页岩、上奥陶统五峰组页岩和下寒武统筇竹寺组页岩中的闭孔含量及孔隙结构进行了测定,同时分析了闭孔的演化规律。实验结果表明,W201井页岩在三个层位中均有闭孔发育,且闭孔的发育均与有机孔隙网络体系有关。发现五峰龙马溪组页岩所测得的分形维数与闭孔率存在良好地正相关性。对于三个层位深度的纵向分析发现,随着深度的增加页岩压汞闭孔率逐渐升高,其主要原因是随着页岩孔喉的变化,小孔喉不断消失,汞可充注的孔喉下限将会增大。通过对比氮气吸附和小角中子散射的结果显示W201井的闭孔孔径从大到小依次为五峰组页岩、龙马溪组页岩和筇竹寺组页岩。对页岩储层中闭孔特征的研究可以为评价页岩储层的储集性和渗透性提供新的思路,在页岩油气的勘探与开发中也具有重要的地质与工程意义。张林浩 徐嫣然 孙梦迪 蒋恕 张钰莹 Chunming Wu 张介辉 梁兴 王高成 2021沉积学报2021,39,2:4

11Deployment of Sensors in WSN: An Efficient Approach Based on Dynamic Programming显示文摘Efficient sensor node deployment is extremely important in wireless sensor networks. It earns great practical meanings through using fewer sensor nodes as far as possible to satisfy different requirements such as the requirement on coverage and overcoming the potential sensor node failures and the adverse influence from the environment. We propose an efficient approach for the deployment of sensor nodes in wireless networks, termed as EDSNDA, which is excellent in taking both the requirements of sensor coverage and network connectivity into consideration when minimizing the number of necessary sensor nodes to the best of its ability. We proposed a new coverage model of sensor node. Based on the sensor coverage model, we establish four dynamic programming models in four different practical situations, respectively. The algorithms are then proposed which are used for solving the corresponding dynamic programming models. The validity of the method is justified by simulation studies in which the method is compared with the current representative methods. 12Performance Evaluation for SDN Deployment: an Approach Based on Stochastic Network Calculus显示文摘The Open Flow implementations(SDNs) have been deployed increasingly on varieties of networks in research institutions as well as commercial institutions. To develop an Open Flow implementation, it is required to understand the performance of the network. A few benchmark tools(e.g., Cbench and OFlops) can be used to measure the network performance, while these tools take considerable time to simulate traffic behaviors and generate the required results,therefore extending the development time. In this paper, we present an analytical model, which is based on stochastic network calculus theory, for evaluating the performance of switch to controller.The previous studies show that stochastic network calculus can provide realistic emulation of real network traffic behaviors. 13Exposure to blast shock waves via the ear canal induces deficits in vestibular afferent function in rats显示文摘The ears are air-filled structures that are directly impacted during blast exposure.In addition to hearing loss and tinnitus,blast victims often complain of vertigo,dizziness and unsteady posture,suggesting that blast exposure induces damage to the vestibular end organs in the inner ear.However,the underlying mechanisms remain to be elucidated.In this report,single vestibular afferent activity and the vestibuloocular reflex(VOR)were investigated before and after exposure to blast shock waves(~20 PSI)delivered into the left external ear canals of anesthetized rats.Single vestibular afferent activity was recorded from the superior branch of the left vestibular nerves of the blast-treated and control rats one day after blast exposure.Blast exposure reduced the spontaneous discharge rates of the otolith and canal afferents.Blast exposure also reduced the sensitivity of irregular canal afferents to sinusoidal head rotation at 0.5e2Hz.Blast exposure,however,resulted in few changes in the VOR responses to sinusoidal head rotation and translation.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first study that reports blast exposure-induced damage to vestibular afferents in an animal model.These results provide insights that may be helpful in developing biomarkers for early diagnosis of blast-induced vestibular deficits in military and civilian populations.Yue Yu Jun Huang Xuehui Tang Jerome Allison David Sandlin Dalian Ding Yi Pang Chunming Zhang Tianwen Chen Nathan Yin Lan Chen William Mustain Wu Zhou Hong Zhu 2020Journal of Otology2020,15,3:3

16Selective hydrocracking of light cycle oil into high-octane gasoline over bi-functional catalysts显示文摘Light cycle oil(LCO) with high content of poly-aromatics was difficult to upgrade and convert,which had hindered upgrading fuel quality to meet with the standard of automotive diesel for the purpose of sustainable development.The hydrocracking behaviors of typical aromatics in LCO of naphthalene and tetralin were investigated over NiMo and CoMo catalysts.Several characterization methods including N2-adsoprtion and desorption,ammonia temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),Pyridine infrared spectroscopy(Py-IR),CO infrared spectroscopy(CO-IR),Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) were applied to determine the properties of different catalysts.The results showed that CoMo catalyst with high concentration of S-edges could hydrosaturate more naphthalene to tetralin but exhibit lower yield of high-value light aromatics(carbon numbers less than 10) than NiMo catalyst.NiMo catalyst with high concentration of Mo-edges also presented a higher selectivity of converting naphthalene into cyclanes than CoMo catalyst.Subsequently,the naphthalene and LCO hydrocracking performances were also investigated over different catalysts systems.The activity evaluation and kinetic analysis results showed that the naphthalene hydrocracking conversion and the yield of light aromatics for CoMo-AY/NiMo-AY grading catalysts were higher than NiMo-AY/CoMo-AY grading catalysts at same condition.A stepwise reaction principle was proposed to explain the high efficiency of CoMo-AY/NiMoAY grading catalysts.Finally,the LCO hydrocracking evaluation results confirmed that CoMo-AY/NiMoAY catalysts grading system with low carbon deposition and high stability could remain high percentage of active phases,which was more efficient to convert LCO to high-octane gasoline.Zhengkai Cao Xia Zhang Chunming Xu Xinlu Huang Ziming Wu Chong Peng Aijun Duan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:3

18DISPERSION AND NUCLEATION FOR ULTRAFINE PARTICLES OF SILICA AND SILICATE IN POLY(ETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE) BASED COMPOSITES显示文摘In this paper, the dispersion and nucleation behavior of ultrafine particles of silica and layered silicate (LS)in poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) matrix are investigated and characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM), Wide Angle X-ray Diffraction (WAXD), Dynamic Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Atomic Force Microscopy(AFM). The solid precursors based on silica and LS are suggested originally for preparing nanocomposites with good dispersion morphology. Results show that the initial sub-micron (1000~500 nm) LS particles are exfoliated or dispersed into nanometer-scale particles (30~70 nm) during their polymerization with PET monomers. These dispersed nanoparticles form an ordered morphology in their nucleation and growth during annealing nanocomposites. DSC patterns reveal that the double melting peaks of annealed PET-LS nanocomposites disappear, while they have shrunken in PET-silica ones. These findings strongly demonstrate that the dispersed nanoparticles accelerate the crystallization of PET. The dispersed LS particles have higher percolation and nucleation performance than those of silica.The homogeneous distribution morphology of ultrafine particles is easily obtained by controlling the load of their corresponding precursors. Such a dispersion obviously improves PET properties in that its heat distortion temperature (HDT)increases from 76℃ to 103℃, and crystallization increases 2~4 times more than that of PET. 19Autonomic responses to blast overpressure can be elicited by exclusively exposing the ear in rats显示文摘Blast overpressure has become an increasing cause of brain injuries in both military and civilian populations. Though blast's direct effects on the cochlea and vestibular organs are active areas of study, little attention has been given to the ear's contribution to the overall spectrum of blast injury. Acute autonomic responses to blast exposure, including bradycardia and hypotension, can cause hypoxia and contribute to blast-induced neurotrauma. Existing literature suggests that these autonomic responses are elicited through blast impacting the thorax and lungs. We hypothesize that the unprotected ear also provides a vulnerable locus for blast to cause autonomic responses. We designed a blast generator that delivers controlled overpressure waves into the ear canal without impacting surrounding tissues in order to study the ear's specific contribution to blast injury. Anesthetized adult rats' left ears were exposed to a single blast wave ranging from 0 to 110 PSI(0-758 kPa). Blast exposed rats exhibited decreased heart rates and blood pressures with increased blast intensity, similar to results gathered using shock tubes and whole-body exposure in the literature. While rats exposed to blasts below 50 PSI(345 kPa) exhibited increased respiratory rate with increased blast intensity, some rats exposed to blasts higher than 50 PSI(345 kPa) stopped breathing immediately and ultimately died. These autonomic responses were significantly reduced in vagally denervated rats, again similar to whole-body exposure literature. 20A strongly secure identity-based authenticated group key exchange protocol显示文摘In group key exchange(GKE) protocols, a shared secret key is established among a group of members for cryptographic use over a public network. An identity-based protocol is preferred to that under the employment of traditional public key infrastructure(PKI), since identity-based cryptosystem can simplify public key management procedure. In ASIACCS 2011, a security model for GKE protocol called EGBG model was proposed. The EGBG model takes ephemeral secret key leakage attack into consideration. Until now, there is no ID-based GKE protocol secure in the EGBG model. In this paper, we propose an identity-based GKE protocol. Its AKE-security with KCIR and full forward secrecy, MA-security with KCIR and its contributiveness are proven in the EGBG model. The proposed protocol does not involve NAXOS trick, which does not resist side channel attack and thus it provides stronger security guarantee.
