2Morphological Development of Fuel Droplets after Impacting Biomimetic Structured Surfaces with Different Temperatures显示文摘To improve the controllability for the evaporation process of fuel spray impinging on the cylinder wall,an experimental study on the development of morphological process of different fuel droplets on aluminium alloy surfaces is carried out.The metal surfaces with different wettability are prepared by laser etching and chemical etching for the experiments.In total,three different fuels are tested and compared under different surface temperatures,including diesel,n-butanol and dimethyl carbonate(DMC).The results show that under a lower wall temperature,the surface wettability,viscosity and surface tension of the fuels have significant effects on spreading and rebounding behaviour of the droplets.As the wall temperature rises over the boiling points of the fuel but below its Leidenfrost temperature,the contact angles between the fuels and surfaces are varying according to the surface wettability,boiling point and Leidenfrost temperature of the fuels.When the temperature of the surface exceeds the Leidenfrost temperature of all the fuels,after impacting the surfaces,different fuel droplets tend to have the same development pattern,regardless of the surface wettability.The rebound level is mainly affected by the amount of fuel vapour generated during the wall-hitting process.Viscosity,surface tension and other properties of the fuel have little effect on post-impacting behaviour of the droplet when the wall temperature is higher than the Leidenfrost temperature of the fuel.Liang Guo Yuheng Gao Ningning Cai Degang Li Yuying Yan Wanchen Sun 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,4:2
3Ectopic expression of antifreeze protein gene from Ammopiptanthus nanus confers chilling tolerance in maize显示文摘Improved chilling tolerance is important for maize production. Previous efforts in transgenics and marker-assisted breeding have not achieved practical results. In this study, the antifreeze protein(AnAFP) from the super-xerophyte Ammopiptanthus nanus was aligned to KnS-type dehydrins.Phosphorylation in vitro and subcellular localization showed that AnAFP was phosphorylated by maize casein kinase II and translocated from nucleus to cytoplasm under chilling stress. AnAFP also increased lactate dehydrogenase activity. A parent line of commercial maize hybrids was transformed with the AnAFP gene. Based on thermal asymmetric interlaced PCR, one hemizygous and two homozygous integration sites were identified in one T_(1) line. Ectopic expression of AnAFP in transgenic lines was confirmed by quantitative real-time PCR, RNA-seq, and Western blotting. After chilling treatment, the transgenic lines showed significantly improved phenotype, higher kernel production, survival rate and biomass, and lower relative electrolyte leakage and superoxide dismutation than the untransformed line. 6Multi-agent reinforcement learning for cooperative lane changing of connected and autonomous vehicles in mixed traffic显示文摘Autonomous driving has attracted significant research interests in the past two decades as it offers many potential benefits,including releasing drivers from exhausting driving and mitigating traffic congestion,among others.Despite promising progress,lane-changing remains a great challenge for autonomous vehicles(AV),especially in mixed and dynamic traffic scenarios.Recently,reinforcement learning(RL)has been widely explored for lane-changing decision makings in AVs with encouraging results demonstrated.However,the majority of those studies are focused on a single-vehicle setting,and lane-changing in the context of multiple AVs coexisting with human-driven vehicles(HDVs)have received scarce attention.In this paper,we formulate the lane-changing decision-making of multiple AVs in a mixed-traffic highway environment as a multi-agent reinforcement learning(MARL)problem,where each AV makes lane-changing decisions based on the motions of both neighboring AVs and HDVs.Specifically,a multi-agent advantage actor-critic(MA2C)method is proposed with a novel local reward design and a parameter sharing scheme.In particular,a multi-objective reward function is designed to incorporate fuel efficiency,driving comfort,and the safety of autonomous driving.A comprehensive experimental study is made that our proposed MARL framework consistently outperforms several state-of-the-art benchmarks in terms of efficiency,safety,and driver comfort.Wei Zhou Dong Chen Jun Yan Zhaojian Li Huilin Yin Wanchen Ge 2022Autonomous Intelligent Systems2022,2,1:1

15Handheld Aptasensor for Sandwiched Detection of Chloramphenicol显示文摘Chloramphenicol(CAP)is an antifungal agent approved for use in aquarium.However,CAP residue imparts serious adverse effect on human health as well as the ecology.Thus,keeping track of CAP in aquatic products and its environmental metabolites are of great importance.Herein,we developed a novel and neat electrochemical aptasensor for the detection of simulated CAP residual in a sandwich fashion.The screen-printed carbon electrode was employed as the sensing platform and electrodeposited with peculiar nanogolds to enhance the electrochemical performance.For the specific recognition of such small target,a pair of chloramphenicol-binding aptamers,the primary Aptl and the secondary Apt2,were tailored as an artificial single-chained antibody couple,of which the thi-olated Aptl stood on the coated working substrate to capture the analyte,while the biotinylated Apt2 rallied the signal output.In the presence of CAP,Aptl at the lower place cooperated with the upper Apt2 pinched CAP together.After that,the reporter avidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase associated atop the mounted biotin labels,resulting in an electrocatalytic amplification.In whole,this modular biosensing construction would set a paradigm not just for practicable checkpoint quarantine or point-of-care testing,but potentially adaptable for technological fusion with“Internet Plus”and“Internet of Things”.YU Mintong XIA Tian BAI Wanchen JI jinyu WANG Huan HUANG Yaqi DENG Shengyuan MA Kefeng SU Yan WAN Ying 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,2:0

18An Adversarial Attack on Salient Regions of Traffic Sign显示文摘The state-of-the-art deep neural networks are vulnerable to the attacks of adversarial examples with small-magnitude per-turbations.In the field of deep-learning-based automated driving,such adversarial attack threats testify to the weakness of AI models.This limitation can lead to severe issues regarding the safety of the intended functionality(SOTIF)in automated driving.From the perspective of causality,the adversarial attacks can be regarded as confounding effects with spurious corre-lations established by the non-causal features.However,few previous research works are devoted to building the relationship between adversarial examples,causality,and SOTIF.This paper proposes a robust physical adversarial perturbation genera-tion method that aims at the salient image regions of the targeted attack class with the guidance of class activation mapping(CAM).With the utilization of CAM,the maximization of the confounding effects can be achieved through the intermediate variable of the front-door criterion between images and targeted attack labels.In the simulation experiment,the proposed method achieved a 94.6%targeted attack success rate(ASR)on the released dataset when the speed-speed-limit-60 km/h(speed-limit-60)signs could be attacked as speed-speed-limit-80 km/h(speed-limit-80)signs.In the real physical experiment,the targeted ASR is 75%and the untargeted ASR is 100%.Besides the state-of-the-art attack result,a detailed experiment is implemented to evaluate the performance of the proposed method under low resolutions,diverse optimizers,and multifarious defense methods.The code and data are released at the repository:http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460as055xk9o6pqxx66nq.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/yebin999/rp2-with-cam.Jun Yan Huilin Yin Bin Ye Wanchen Ge Hao Zhang Gerhard Rigoll 2023Automotive Innovation2023,6,2:0
19Numerical investigation of flow unsteadiness and heat transfer on suction surface of rotating airfoils within a gas turbine cascade显示文摘The effects of the periodical turbulence and pressure fluctuation on suction surface heat transfer over airfoils of a row of rotor blades with a certain type have been investigated numerically in this paper.The calculation is perfomed using v^(2)-f model with the numerical results of pressure fluctuation and heat transfer performance over 4 sample points being analyzed and compared with existing experimental data.It shows that the static pressure change has significant impact on heat transfer performance of the fore suction surface,especially in the active region of the shock waves formed from the trailing edge of upstream nuzzles.While,for the rear suction surface,the flow turbulence contributes more to the heat transfer change over the surface,due to the reduced pressure oscillation through this region.Phase shifted phenomenon across the surface can be observed for both pressure and heat transfer parameters,which should be a result of turbulence migration and wake passing across the airfoil.Liang Guo Yuying Yan Wanchen Sun Jie Zhu 2017Propulsion and Power Research2017,6,2:0
20Pharmacokinetic comparison among resveratrol and some of its naturally occurring analogs显示文摘OBJECTIVE To elucidate the structural-pharmacokinetic relationship and identify resveratrol analogs with favorable pharmacokinetic profiles for potential medicinal application. METHODS The pharmacokinetic data of resveratrol(trans-3,5,4-trihydroxystilbene),pterostilbene(trans-3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxystilbene),resveratrol trimethyl ether(trans-3,5,4-trimethoxystilbene)and some other herbal resveratrol analogs were extracted from the authors′recent publications and compared.RESULTS Aqueous solubility,to different extent,has been identified as a barrier to oral absorption of resveratrol and its analogs.In addition,the para hydroxyl group(s)on the aromatic ring was less liable to metabolism compared to the meta-hydroxyl group(s).Pterostilbene and resveratrol trimethyl ether displayed more superior pharmacokinetic properties than resveratrol,i.e.much slower clearance and abundant plasma exposure.CONCLUSION Pterostilbene appears to be a favorable candidate for further development.Resveratrol analogs with meta-hydroxyl group(s)might have poor metabolic stability and suffer from rapid clearance and low oral bioavailability.Hai-shuLIN SamuelChaoMingYEO WanCHEN 2015中国药理学与毒理学杂志2015,29,S1:0
