The Metallogenetic Regularities of Lithium Deposits in China显示文摘Lithium resources support the development of high-technology industries. China has abundant lithium resources which are mainly distributed in Tibet,Qinghai,Sichuan and Jiangxi. Salt lakes in China have significant lithium reserves, but lithium is mainly produced from hard rock lithium deposits because the extraction from salt lakes requires further improvements. The hard rock lithium deposits mainly occur in granitic pegmatite in the Altay region of Xinjiang and the Jiajika deposit in western Sichuan Province; they mainly formed in the Mesozoic and occurred in a relatively stable stage during orogenic processes. On the basis of the information from 151 lithium deposits or spots,14 lithium metallogenic series were identified, and granitic pegmatite, granite, and sedimentary types were considered to be the main prediction types of lithium resources. Twelve lithium mineralization belts were divided and a series of maps showing the lithium metallogenetic regularity in China were drawn. We conclude that the hard rock and brine type of lithium resources possibly have a similar lithium source related to magmatism. The metallogenic features of the lithium in China were related with the distinct history of tectonic-magmatic activity in China. This study benefits the assessment of,and prospecting for, lithium resources in China. | LI Jiankang ZOU Tianren LIU Xifang WANG Denghong DING Xin | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,2: | 22
Mineralization episode of porphyry copper deposits in the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt: Re-Os dating显示文摘Re-Os isotopic dating for the molybdenites from the porphyry copper deposits of the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt in Yunnan Province yields isochron ages of 33.9±1.1 Ma for the Machangqing deposit and 34.4±0.5 Ma for the Tongchang deposit. This result shows that both the Machangqing and the Tongchang porphyry Cu-Mo deposits from two different ore-fields formed simultaneously. This new data and the published Re-Os model ages of molybdenite (35.4 Ma, 35.9 Ma, 36.2 Ma) of the Yulong porphyry copper deposit in Tibet, which is located in the same Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt as the Machangqing deposit and the Tongchang deposit, suggest that these three Cenozoic porphyry copper deposits in the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt were contemporary for their mineralization episode. That is to say, even their present locality is far away and nearly iso-distantly distributed, these three porphyry Cu(Mo) deposits belong to the same mineralization episode at the end of Eocene. | WANG Denghong, QU Wenjun, LI Zhiwei, YIN Hanlong4 & CHEN Yuchuan Institute of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, China National Center of Rock and Mineral Analysis, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, China Resource Assessment Center of Yunnan, Kunming 650011, China Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100101, China Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, China | 2005 | Science China Earth Sciences2005,48,2: | 21
Helium,Argon, and Xenon Isotopic Compositions of Ore-forming Fluids in Jinding-Baiyangping Polymetallic Deposits,Yunnan,Southwest China显示文摘The Jinding superlarge lead and zinc deposit has attracted the attention of geologists of the world and itsmetal logenesis has long been in dispute. This paper takes the Jinding deposit and the Baiyangping Cu-Ag-Co deposit which was recently found at about 30 km north of Jinding as one ore belt, and, based on researches on the helium, argon, and xenon isotopic compositions of primary inclusions in ore-forming solutions of the main stage, the authors have found that the 3He/4He ratio of the ore-forming fluid is 2.7×10-6 (varying from 0.19 to 1.97 Ra), the 4He/40Ar ratio (0.24-3.12) is close to the mantle characteristic ratio, and the xenon isotopic composition and evolution show characters of the mantle xenon. The above results reveal the characteristics of mantle source and crust-mantle fluid mixing (mantle helium reaching 32%) and the metallogenic contributions of the deep processes in the Jinding-Baiyangping ore belt. | XUE Chunji WANG Denghong CHEN Yuchuan YANG Jianmin YANG Weiguang | 2000 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2000,74,3: | 17
Discovery and preliminary study of the high tungsten and lithium contents in the Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit, Guizhou, China显示文摘Bauxite in China remains an urgently needed resource largely dependent on imports. Based on the study of the newly-discovered Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit in northeastern Guizhou, we have found new enrichment of tungsten and lithium in bauxite, with the highest WO 3 content up to 0.33% and the highest Li 2 O content up to 0.58%. The present paper reports the initial result, and the spatial distribution feature of W and Li in the ore body (with Li enriched mostly in the north part of the west limb of the Liyuan syncline, whereas W enriched mostly in the central part of the east limb). The results suggest that it is necessary to delineate lithium and tungsten ore body independently, discuss the feasibility of its industrial utilization, and point out the new direction of synthetic appraisal for such kinds of traditional mineral resources, in order to forecast and assess bauxite resources in the region. | WANG DengHong LI PeiGang QU WenJun YIN LiJuan ZHAO Zhi LEI ZhiYuan WEN ShenFu | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,1: | 16
Geochronology and Geochemistry of Li(Be)-Bearing Granitic Pegmatites from the Jiajika Superlarge Li-Polymetallic Deposit in Western Sichuan, China显示文摘Strategic emerging minerals such as lithium, beryllium, niobium and tantalum are the most important rare metals currently, especially with the increasing demand of emerging industries on rare metals in China. The Jiajika deposit with a complete Li-Be-Nb-Ta metallogenic series is the largest pegmatite type rare metal deposit in China at present. In this paper, systematic researches of geochronology and petrogeochemistry were carried out to understand the genetic relationships between mineralization and magma evolution in the Jiajika deposit, which might be helpful to further rare-element prospecting in Songpan-Garze area.Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating yields a concordia age of 217±1.1 Ma and a weighted mean 206 Pb/238 U age of 217±0.84 Ma for the aplite from the No.308 pegmatite.Cassiterite LA-MC-ICPMS dating yields concordant ages of 211±4.6 Ma for the No.308 pegmatite vein and198±4.4 Ma for the No.133 pegmatite vein, indicating that the rare metal mineralization mainly occurred in the Late Indosinian Period, further suggesting that the granites, aplites and pegmatites in Jiajika formed during a relatively stable stage after the intense orogeny of the Indosinian cycle. The rare metal-bearing granitic rocks and pegmatites show a clear linear relationship between A/CNK and A/NK and are enriched in total alkalis and depleted in CaO,FeO,MnO,MgO,Ba and Sr.All barren rocks and mineralized rocks feature similar rare earth element and trace element geochemical patterns. Thus, these characteristics indicate that the aplites and pegmatites represent the highly differentiated products of the two-mica granite(MaG)in this area, which is the most likely parent magma.During the evolution of magma, strong alkali metasomatism occurred between the melt phase and the volatile-rich fluid phase;as a result,large-scale rare metal mineralization occurred in certain structural zones of the pegmatite veins in the Jiajika deposit. | Hongzhang Dai Denghong Wang Lijun Liu Yang Yu Jingjing Dai | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,4: | 12
New chronological evidence for Yanshanian diagenetic mineralization in China's Altay orogenic belt显示文摘Granitoids and related pegmatitic rare-metal deposits are widespread in China’s Altay region, they used to be considered as Hercynian rocks and mineral deposits.Reported here are the^40Ar^39Ar ages of potassium-rich minerals (muscovite and microcline)in the Koktokay pegmatitic rare-metal orefield and whole-rock as well as quartz fluid-inclusion Rb-Sr isochron ages of granite and ores in the Shangkelan pegmatite rare-metal orefield. The ages indicate that there are Yanshanian Diagenetic Mineralization events happening in China’s Altay orogenic belt and that formation of the famous Koktokay No.3 pegmatitic rare-metal deposit endured about 30 Ma of magmatic crystallization differentiation. | Fuwen Chen Huaqin Li Denghong Wang Hong Cai Wen Chen | 2000 | Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,2: | 12
A Preliminary Review of Metallogenic Regularity of Molybdenum Deposits in China显示文摘Molybdenum is one of the dominant minerals in China because of its rich reserves. In recent years, outstanding breakthroughs have been made in molybdenum prospecting in China, and the distribution of molybdenum deposits in China is found to have a 'planar pattern'.In general, the molybdenum deposits are concentrated in eastern China, including the largest molybdenum reserves of Henan Province. In terms of the scale of molybdenum deposits, the identified resources of the superlarge deposits are the most important, which account for about 53% of the whole country, and those of the large deposits account for about 30%,those of the medium-sized deposits account for about 14%,those of the small-sized deposits, mine spots and mineralization account for about 3%.The molybdenum deposits are mainly classified as porphyry type, skarn type, hydrothermal(vein) type and sedimentary(metamorphic) type in genesis, and the identified resources of these types account for 85.75%,8.83%,2.79%and 2.63% of the total resources respectively.Based on the statistics of precise chronology data of molybdenites Re-Os,Mo-mineralization can be divided into 6 periods in Chinese geological history, which are Precambrian(>800 Ma),Cambrian-Silurian(540-415 Ma,Caledonian),Devonian-Permian(400-290 Ma,Hecynian),Triassic(260-200 Ma,Indosinian),Jurassic-Cretaceous(195-70 Ma,Yanshanian) and Paleogene-Neogene(65-10 Ma,Himalayan).Mo mineralization during the Yanshanian period is the strongest one,in which about 76.69% of the Chinese total identified resources was formed. The second is the Himalayan period.According to spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of molybdenum deposits, the metallogenic regularity of molybdenum deposits was preliminarily summarized, and 41 level-Ⅲ molybdenum-forming belts,13 level-Ⅱ molybdenum-forming provinces and 4 level-Ⅰ molybdenum-forming domains were ascertained in the mainland of China. There are 39 metallogenic series of and 60 sub-series of molybdenum deposits with molybdenum as the dominant metal and corresponding representative molybdenum deposits proposed.Metallogenic lineages of molybdenum deposits were also established.Spatial-temporal evolution of different types of molybdenum deposits, and the relationship between Mo-mineralization and tectonic evolution have been discussed in this paper. On this basis, the authors think that element Mo is an effective tracer for recording the crustal evolution history of China. At present, there are some problems in the exploration of Mo deposits in China, such as uneven exploration degrees in eastern and western China, shallow exploration depth, low and uneven grade, complex associated components, difficulty of mineral development and utilization, increasing costs of prospecting, and so on.According to successful experience of superficial and deep prospecting and considering also the discussion above, some suggestions are proposed for the prospecting of molybdenum deposits in the future. | HUANG Fan LIU Xinxing WANG Denghong WANG Chenghui | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 7
A Preliminary Review of Metallogenic Regularity of Silver Deposits in China显示文摘China has widely distributed silver deposits, and is rich in silver resources.Although silver deposits are mainly associated with Pb-Zn deposits,a number of independent silver deposits have also been discovered in recent years.Silver deposits include different types, such as submarine volcanism and continental volcanism related type, intrusion related type, and sedimentary related type. This study summarized the metallogenic regularity of China's silver deposits systematically based mainly on the data from 490 silver deposits. It is shown that submarine volcanic sedimentary type, continental volcanic or sub-volcanic type, skarn type, hydrothermal type(including vein type and stratabound type),sedimentary metamorphic type, sedimentary type and regolith type should be regarded as the most important prediction types of silver deposit.A total of 32 silver mineralization belts and 111 silver concentration areas have been delineated. The map of 'Spatial distribution of silver mineralization belts in China' and other series of maps finished in this study may provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation and prognosis of silver resources potential in China. | JIANG Biao ZHANG Daquan WANG Denghong WANG Chenghui CHEN Yuchuan BAI Ge | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 5
A Preliminary Review of Metallogenic Regularity of Copper Deposits in China显示文摘Copper resources in China are rich, but imported copper products are still required. Researches on metallogenic regularity of major types of copper deposits by geologists have involved in worldwide classification, significant copper belts, representative copper deposits, etc. Studies on metallogenic regularity of copper deposits in China also have made achievements with a long-term work. Combined with latest exploration advances obtained in recent ten years, this review aims to conclude the achievements of researches on copper metallogenic regularity in China. Based on data of 814 copper deposits and other ore(mineralized) occurrences, ten prediction types of copper deposits have been suggested. Porphyry and skarn copper ores are taken as the key targets. Porphyry copper deposits are the most important one which concentrate in Gangdese, Changdu-Sanjiang, Dexing and East Tianshan. The Cenozoic and Mesozoic are the major metallogenic epochs. Four main metallogenic epochs are been studied based on the copper ore geochronological data including Precambrian Era(Archean and Proterozoic), Paleozoic Era, Mesozoic Era and Cenozoic Era. Based on the study of metallogenic series of ore deposits in China, twenty-seven metallogenic series of copper deposits are proposed. This is suggested to deepen the study of metallogenic regularity of copper ore and provide the theory guide for copper resources prediction in China. | YING Lijuan CHEN Yuchuan WANG Denghong TANG Juxing CHEN Zhenghui WANG Chenghui | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,1: | 5
Geology and mineralization of the Songpan-Ganze-West Kunlun pegmatite-type rare-metal metallogenic belt in China:An overview and synthesis显示文摘The Songpan-Ganze orogenic belt on the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau extends westward from the Songpan-Ganze terrain in western Sichuan to the Tianshuihai region in West Kunlun,Xinjiang. It hosts numerous giant spodumene pegmatite deposits and ore fields, including Jiajika and Ke’eryin in western Sichuan Province,Zhawulong on the border between the Sichuan and Qinghai Provinces, and Dahongliutan in Xinjiang Region. These form the Songpan-Ganze-West Kunlun(SP-GZ-WK) pegmatite-type rare-metal metallogenic belt. The pegmatite type rare-metal deposits in this belt are hosted in the metamorphic thermal domes in the metamorphosed flysh of the Triassic Xikang and Bayankalashan Groups. The mineralized pegmatites are intimately related to the Li-and volatile-rich two-mica granites that are peraluminous and have high(Li+Na+K)/(Mn+Fe+Mg+Ca+Ti) ratios.Pegmatites and granites in individual ore field throughout the belt typically form a cogenetic granite-pegmatite system,in which pegmatite dikes commonly surround granites.Spodumene is the predominant ore mineral in most pegmatites with limited hydrothermal alteration. In the granite-pegmatite systems, granitic magmas were emplaced under P-T conditions of 800–850°C and ~550 MPa,while spodumene crystallized in an alkaline environment. The granite-pegmatite systems share similar Sr-Nd-Hf-Li isotopic compositions to the metasediments of the Xikang and Bayankalashan Groups. The δ7Li values tend to increase from the granites to the Li-poor pegmatites, whereas the reverse is observed between the Li-poor and Li-rich pegmatites. These geochronological data suggest that the granite-pegmatite systems formed in the Late Triassic and tend to be progressively younger from the outer to the inner zones of the metallogenic belt. These characteristics show that the granitic-pegmatitic melts were derived from the anatexis of the Xikang and Bayankalashan Groups during the Paleo-Tethyan orogeny in the Late Triassic. The separation of pegmatitic melts from granitic magmas can be best explained using the Jiajika-style “melt-melt immiscibility” or the Ke’eryin-style “fractional crystallization+melt-melt immiscibility” model.High-maturity terrestrial sediments are of key importance for the anatexis that results in the granitepegmatite melts. The bidirectional tectonic stresses in the Songpan-Ganze orogenic belt may have caused the mineralization difference between the Jiajika deposit and the Ke’eryin ore field. These features indicate the controls of the combination of orogenic deformation, metapelites anatexis, and magmatic differentiation on the rare-metal mineralization of pegmatites. We suggest that pegmatites, pegmatite–parental granite, and their protoliths are important indicators for rare-metal mineralization in the SP-GZ-WK pegmatite type rare-metal metallogenic belt.Based on the widespread presence of fertile metasediments and well development of metamorphic thermal dome, highly differentiated granites, and regional zonation of pegmatites, the Zhawulong ore field is the most prospective area for rare metals and thus should be the priority for future exploration. | Jiankang LI Peng LI Qinggao YAN Denghong WANG Guangli REN Xin DING | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,8: | 5
Outline of Metallogenic Regularity of Bauxite Deposits in China显示文摘Among the abundant aluminum ore resources in China, bauxite is dominated, which is mainly distributed in 19 provinces and regions, including Shanxi, Henan, Guizhou and Guangxi. The major deposit type of bauxite is paleo-weathering crust sedimentary type, and the other one is the accumulation type. The main metallogenic period is the late Paleozoic Era followed by the Cenozoic Era. The metallogenic tectonic background is characterized by a cratonic environment. This paper summarizes the bauxite metallogenic regularity based on the characteristics of bauxite resources, bauxite deposit type, bauxite metallogenic belt and metallogenic series in China, and 15 bauxite metallogenic belts, 8 bauxite metallogenic series and 7 bauxite ore concentrated areas were identified in the study. | 14 | A Preliminary Review of Metallogenic Regularity of Gold Deposits in China显示文摘Gold is one of the most important mineral resources in China with its rich mineral resources. In recent years, significant progress has been made on the process of gold resource exploration. Some large and giant gold deposits were newly found and some important expansions in the main mining regions were also been completed. Studies on metallogenic regularity of gold deposits in China also have made achievements with a long–term work. This review aims to conclude the achievements of research on gold metallogenic regularity in China. Based on the data of about 2000 gold deposits and other ore(mineralized) occurrences, gold deposits in China were classified into five prediction types: gold deposits genetically related to granite–greenstone formation, gold deposits related to sedimentary formation(including the Carlin type and the metamorphosed clastic rock related vein gold deposit),gold deposits genetically related to volcanic rocks(including the continental and marine types),gold deposits genetically related to intrusions(including the porphyry type and the inner intrusion and contact zone related gold deposit),gold deposits of supergenesis(including fracture zone–altered rock gold deposit, placer gold deposit, gossan type gold deposit and soil type gold deposit). Statistics on precise chronology data of gold deposits indicate that there occurred 5 main periods of gold–mineralization in geological history of China. They were Neoarchean to Paleoproterozoic,Meso–Neoproterozoic,Paleozoic,Mesozoic, and Cenozoic. Gold deposits in China mainly formed in the Mesozoic and the Cenozoic. On the studies of the spatial–temporal distribution characteristics of gold deposits,53 gold–forming belts were delineated in China. The metallogenic regularity of gold deposits was preliminarily summarized and 71 gold metallogenic series were proposed in China. This suggests that it is necceary to deepen the study on metallogenic regularity of gold deposits and to provide the theory guide for the ore–prospecting for gold resources in China. | WANG Chenghui WANG Denghong XU Jue YING Lijuan LIU Lijun LIU Shanbao | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,2: | 4
Cenozoic Mineralization in China,as a Key to Past Mineralization and a Clue to Future Prospecting显示文摘Many Cenozoic metal deposits have been found during the past decade. Among them, the Fuwan Ag deposit in Guangdong is the largest Ag deposit in China. Besides, the largest Cu deposit of China in Yulong, Tibet, the largest Pb-Zn deposit of China in Jinding, Yunnan, and the largest Au deposit of China in Jinguashi,Taiwan, were also formed in the Cenozoic. Why so many important 'present' deposits formed during such a short period of geological history is the key problem. The major reason is that different tectonic settings control different kinds of magmatic activity and mineralization at the same time. In southwestern China, porphyry-type Cu deposits such as Yulong were formed during the early stage of the Himalayan orogeny, sediment-hosted Pb-Zn deposits such as Jinding were formed within intermontane basins related to deep faults, and carbonatite-related deposits such as the Maoniuping REE deposit and alkalic magmatic rock-related deposits such as the Beiya Au deposit originated from the mantle source. | WANG Denghong CHEN Yuchuan XU Jue YANG Jianmin XUE Chunji YAN Shenghao | 2000 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2000,74,3: | 4

Review of the Metallogenic Regularity of Magnesite Deposits in China显示文摘China has abundant reserves of magnesite, making it the world's leading source of this strategic mineral.Sparry magnesite is the main type of magnesite deposit, and is easy to exploit. It occurs mainly as the sedimentary-metamorphic type.Production is centred on eastern Liaoning Province, where a world-class large to super large magnesite ore processing and production facility has been developed.Hydrothermal metasomatic deposits, associated with ultramafic complexes and eluvial deposits produced by weathering, are two other important types found in China. The Western section of the Bangonghu-Nujiang metallogenic belt is an important target region for prospecting lake-sedimentary magnesite deposits.Based on a systematic analysis of material from 62 magnesite production areas, this study investigated the metallogeny of magnesite and delineated 13 magnesite metallogenic belts.Maps were produced showing metallogenic regularities in magnesite deposits, the metallogenic system of the magnesite deposits, and the distribution of the metallogenic belts of Chinese magnesite deposits. It provides a theoretical basis for forecasting the location of potential magnesite resources in China. Finally, it explores some key scientific issues, including the formation processes of ultra magnesite ore-concentrated areas, and their sources of magnesium. | ZHAO Zheng CUI Xiaolin WANG Denghong CHEN Yuchuan BAI Ge LI Jiankang LIU Xinxing | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5: | 3
A Preliminary Review of Metallogenic Regularity of Tungsten Deposits in China显示文摘Tungsten ore resources are abundant in China with relatively complete types of deposits. Skarn type and quartz vein type deposits are dominated in the tungsten resources, whereas quartz vein type wolframite deposits are most important in terms of exploitation and utilization. Skarn type tungsten deposits are concentratedly distributed in the central Nanling region, such as South Hunan, South Anhui and the eastern Qinling region, while quartz vein type tungsten deposits occur mainly in South China, such as West Fujian, South Jiangxi, North Guangdong and South Hunan. The most important metallogenic epoch of tungsten is the Mesozoic, while the metallogenic tectonic setting is featured by an intracontinental environment after orogeny with sever tectonic movements, deep-seated faults and frequent magmatic activities, especially Mesozoic granitoids closely related to tungsten-tin mineralization. 22 metallogenic series of ore deposits characterized by or significantly related to tungsten were defined based on precise statistic information of 1199 tungsten mining areas and thorough the summary of metallogenic regularities. Based on studies of the metallogenic regularity of tungsten deposits, skarn type(or greisen type), quartz vein type and massif-type of tungsten deposits are thought to be the key prediction types. 65 tungsten-forming belts and 22 key ore concentration areas were ascertained and a distribution map of tungsten-forming belts of China was compiled, which provided a theoretical basis for evaluation and prediction of potential tungsten resources. | SHENG Jifu LIU Lijun WANG Denghong CHEN Zhenghui YING Lijuan HUANG Fan WANG Jiahuan ZENG Le | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 3
A Preliminary Review of the Metallogenic Regularity of Nickel Deposits in China显示文摘The nickel deposits mainly distributed in 19 provinces and autonomous regions in China are 339 ore deposits/occurrences, including 4 super large-scale deposits, 14 large-scale deposits, 26 middlescale deposits, 75 small-scale deposits, and 220 mineralized occurrences. The prediction types of mineral resources of nickel deposits are magmatic type, marine sedimentary type and regolith type. The formation age is from the Neoarchean to the Cenozoic with two peaks in the Neoproterozoic and the late Paleozoic. The nickel deposits formed in the Neoproterozoic are located on the margin of the North China Block and Yangtze Block, and those formed in the late Paleozoic are mainly distributed in the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB), Emeishan and the Tarim Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs). Magmatic nickel deposits are mainly related with broken-up continental margin, post-collision extension of the orogenic belt and mantle plume. According to different tectonic backgrounds and main characteristics of magmatism, the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series types of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks can be divided into 4 subtypes:(1) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the broken-up continental margin,(2) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in mantle plume magmatism,(3) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the subduction of the orogenic belt, and(4) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in post-collision extension of the orogenic belt. We have discussed in this paper the typical characteristics and metallogenic models for Neoproterozoic Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with broken-up continental margin, Cambrian marine sedimentary Ni-Mo-V deposits related with black shale, early Permian Ni-Cu deposits related with post-collision extension of the orogenic belt, late Permian Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs), and Cenozoic Ni-Au deposits related with regolith. The broken-up continental margin, mantle plume and post-collision extension of the orogenic belt are important oreforming geological backgrounds, and the discordogenic fault, mafic-ultramafic intrusion, high Mg O primitive magma(high-Mg O basaltic magma), deep magmatism, sulfur saturation and sulfide segregation are 6 important geological conditions for the magmatic nickel deposits. | SUN Tao WANG Denghong QIAN Zhuangzhi FU Yong CHEN Zhenghui LOU Debo | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4: | 3
| 20 | Time Sequence of Himalayan Endogenetic Mineralization on the East Side of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘Among the endogenetic deposits in the Sanjiang area and at the west margin of the Yangtze platform, Himalayan deposits are the most important and contribute a large proportion of the resources of superlarge deposits. Among the controlled resources of this region, 84% of copper resources, 67% of Pb-Zn, 31% of Ag, 77% of gold and 24% of tin come from Himalayan deposits on the east side of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Himalayan endogenetic mineralization shows a relatively complete sequence evolution in the Sanjiang area and on the west margin of the Yangtze platform. Mineralization is manifested by gold deposits related to K-rich lamprophyre, REE deposits related to alkalic complexes and Cu-Au-polymetallic deposits related to alkaline porphyry.
