| 3 | Layered-structure N-doped expanded-graphite/boron nitride composites towards high performance of microwave absorption显示文摘High-efficiency microwave absorbers with broadband absorption are strongly desired for electromag-netic protection.Herein,we successfully synthesized a hybrid microwave absorbing material with two-dimensional layered structure,which consisted of expanded graphite(EG)and boron nitride(BN).The introduction of BN is to regulate the conductivity of EG and also to improve the thermal stability of the composite material.The ultrathin BN nano-sheets were uniformly wrapped on the EG sheets via chemi-cal vapor deposition.Attributed to the dielectric loss and conductive loss,the as-prepared hybrid material exhibited high performance for microwave absorption.The effective absorbing bandwidth(reflection loss value<-10 dB)was achieved up to 9.37 GHz with the thickness of 2.4 mm in the frequency range of 5.75-6.98 GHz and 9.86-18 GHz.And the minimum reflection loss was-51.58 dB at the thickness of 3 mm.The excellent performance of microwave absorption was attributed to the dielectric loss,interfacial polarization loss and optimized impedance matching.Moreover,compared to pure EG,the thermal de-composition temperature of EG/BN composite materials had increased by about 100℃which was up to 714℃.Taking the advantages of high thermal stability of BN as well as the fine microwave absorbability of EG,the EG/BN composites would be applied in high-temperature microwave absorbing fields. | Zhuguang Nie Yang Feng Qing Zhu Ying Xia Liping Luo Lan Ma Jie Su Xingman Hu Rumin Wang Shuhua Qi | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,18: | 1 |

| 7 | Attenuation of Telomerase Activity by siRNA Targeted Telomerase RNA Leads to Apoptosis and Inhibition of Proliferation in Human Renal Carcinoma Cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE Telomerase is an attractive molecular target for cancer therapy because the activation of telomerase is one of the key steps in cell immortalization and carcinogenesis. RNA interference using small-interfering RNA (siRNA) has been demonstrated to be an effective method for inhibiting the expression of a given gene in human cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether inhibition of telomerase activity by siRNA targeted against human telomerase RNA (hTR) can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptotic cell death in human renal carcinoma cells (HRCCs). METHODS The siRNA duplexes for hTR were synthesized and 786-0 HRCCs were transfected with different concentrations of hTR-siRNA. The influence on the hTR mRNA level, telomerase activity, as well as the effect on cell proliferation and apoptosis was examined. RESULTS Anti-hTR siRNA treatment of HRCCs resulted in specific reduction of hTR mRNA and inhibition of telomerase activity. Additionally, significant inhibition of proliferation and induction of apoptosis were observed. CONCLUSION siRNA against the hTR gene can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis by blocking telomerase activity of HRCCs. | 8 | Influence of Na^(+) on the synthesis of silicalite-1 catalysts for use in the vapor phase Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime显示文摘Silicalite-1 was hydrothermally synthesized in the presence of different concentrations of Na+using tetrapropylammonium hydroxide(TPAOH)as a template.The synthesis was followed by a base treatment.The silicalite-1samples were characterized using X-ray diffrac-tion,scanning electron microscopy,N2 adsorption,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and NH3 temperature-programmed deso-rption.The samples were used as catalysts for the vapor phase Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime.During the synthesis,the sodium ions were incorporated onto the silicalite-1 crystals,but were then removed by the base treatment.All the catalysts exhibited nearly complete conversion of cyclohexanone oxime toε-caprolactam with selectivities grater than 95%.Addition of less than 2.5 mol-%Na^(+)(relative to TPAOH)did not influence the catalytic properties.However,for Na+concentrations≥5 mol-%,the particle sizes of silicalite-1 increased and the catalytic activities decreased,which can be attributed to carbon deposition.The results in this work are of great importance for the polymer industry. | Rumin YANG Fanhui MENG Xiao WANG Yaquan WANG | 2011 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2011,5,4: | 0 |
