| 2 | In-Orbit Calibration Uncertainty of the Microwave Radiation Imager on board Fengyun-3C显示文摘This study evaluates the in-orbit calibration uncertainty(CU)for the microwave radiation imager(MWRI)on board the Chinese polar-orbiting meteorological satellite Fengyun-3 C(FY-3 C).Uncertainty analysis of the MWRI provides a direct link to the calibration system of the sensor and quantifies the calibration confidence based on the prelaunch and postlaunch measurements.The unique design of the sensor makes the uncertainty in the calibration of the sensor highly correlate to the uncertainty in the brightness temperature(TB)measured at the hot view,while the cold view has negligible impacts on the calibration confidence.Lack of knowledge on the emission of the hot-load reflector hampers the MWRI calibration accuracy significantly in the descending passes of the orbits when the hotload reflector is heated nonuniformly by the solar illumination.Radiance contamination originating from the satellite and in-orbit environments could enter the primary reflector via the hot view and further impinge on the CU,especially at the 10.65-GHz channels where the main-beam width is much broader than that of higher-frequency channels.The monthly-mean CU is lower than 2 K at all channels,depending on the observed earth scenes and in-orbit environments,and the month-to-month variation of CU is also noticed for all channels.Due to the uncertainty in the emissive hot-load reflector,CU in the descending passes is generally larger than that in the ascending orbits.Moreover,up to 1-K CU difference between the ocean and land scenes is found for the 10.65-GHz channels,while this difference is less than 0.1 K at the 89-GHz channels. | Xinxin XIE Wanting MENG Jiakai HE Weimin YU Xue LI | 2021 | Journal of Meteorological Research2021,35,6: | 0 |

| 6 | A PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor enhances efficacy of CAR-T cell for pleural and peritoneal metastasis显示文摘Pleural and peritoneal metastasis accompanied by malignant pleural effusion(MPE)or malignant ascites(MA)is frequent in patients with advanced solid tumors that originate from the lung,breast,gastrointestinal tract and ovary.Regional delivery of CAR-T cells represents a new strategy to control tumor dissemination in serous cavities.However,malignant effusions constitute an immune-suppressive environment that potentially induces CAR-T cell dysfunction.Here,we demonstrated that the anti-tumor cytotoxicity of conventional 2nd-generation CAR-T cells was significantly inhibited by both the cellular and non-cellular components of MPE/MA,which was primarily attributed to impaired CAR-T cell proliferation and cytokine production in MPE/MA environment.Interestingly,we found that PD-L1 was widely expressed on freshly-isolated MPE/MA cells.Based on this feature,a novel PD-L1-targeting chimeric switch receptor(PD-L1.BB CSR)was designed,which can bind to PD-L1,switching the inhibitory signal into an additional 4-1BB signal.When co-expressed with a 2nd-generation CAR,PD-L1.BB CSR-modified CAR-T cells displayed superior fitness and enhanced functions in both culture medium and MPE/MA environment,causing rapid and durable eradication of pleural and peritoneal metastatic tumors in xenograft models.Further investigations revealed elevated expressions of T-cell activation,proliferation,and cytotoxicity-related genes,and we confirmed that PD-L1 scFv and 4-1BB intracellular domain,the two important components of PD-L1.BB CSR,were both necessary for the functional improvements of CAR-T cells.Overall,our study shed light on the clinical application of PD-L1.BB CSR-modified dual-targeting CAR-T cells.Based on this study,a phase I clinical trial was initiated in patients with pleural or peritoneal metastasis(NCT04684459). | Qizhi Ma Xia He Benxia Zhang Fuchun Guo Xuejin Ou Qiyu Yang Pei Shu Yue Chen Kai Li Ge Gao Yajuan Zhu Diyuan Qin Jie Tang Xiaoyu Li Meng Jing Jian Zhao Zeming Mo Ning Liu Yao Zeng Kexun Zhou Mingyang Feng Weiting Liao Wanting Lei Qiu Li Dan Li Yongsheng Wang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,12: | 0 |
| 7 | Intrinsically flexible all-carbon-nanotube electronics enabled by a hybrid organic-inorganic gate dielectric显示文摘The advancement of Internet of Things has stimulated huge demands on low-voltage flexible electronics.Carbon-nanotube(CNT)-based electronics are of great promise to this end for their intrinsic flexibility,high carrier mobility,and capability to synthesize as semiconducting or metallic to serve as the channels,electrodes,and interconnects of circuits.However,the gate dielectric often has to adopt brittle oxides,which can seriously limit the device flexibility.Herein,we show that a hybrid polyimide-Al2O3 material can serve as a good gate dielectric to realize truly intrinsic flexibility of transistors and circuits based on CNTs.With this hybrid dielectric,high-performance all-CNT transistors and integrated circuits of inverters,ring oscillators,and logic gates are demonstrated.Particularly,the inverters exhibit a remarkably high gain of 342.5 and can be used as an analog amplifier for millivolt small signals.Ultralow voltage(50 mV)operation is also feasible,which highlights the great promise for low-power applications. | Qiuyue Huang Jialiang Wang Chenglin Li Jiahao Zhu Wanting Wang Youchao Huang Yiming Zhang Hailong Jiao Shengdong Zhang Hong Meng Min Zhang Xinwei Wang | 2022 | npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1: | 0 |
