1Discovery of the Indosinian aluminum A-type granite in Zhejiang Province and its geological significance显示文摘Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of the Jingju syenogranites in the southwestern part of Zhejiang Province shows that these rocks were crystallized in the Late Triassic at 215±2 Ma, rather than in the Cretaceous as previously proposed. The Jingju syenogranites are characterized by relatively high K 2 O and FeO*, and low MgO. They have high concentrations of large ion lithophile elements (LIL) and LREE, such as K, Th, La, and Ce, but are depleted in high field strength elements (HFSE) such as Nb, Ta, and Ti. Their 10 4 Ga/Al ratios and (Zr+Nb+Ce+Y) contents are also high. These characteristics are similar to those of A-type granites. The syenogranites have high I Sr (0.7179-0.7203), low ε Nd (t) (from 14.2 to 13.2), and relatively old T 2DM ages, similar to those of the ancient metamorphic basement in the Cathaysia Block. It is suggested that the Jingju syenogranites were formed by partial melting of the Cathaysia basement rocks during tectonic extension. 10Preparation and Mechanical Properties of Micro- and Nano-sized SiC/Fluoroelastomer Composites显示文摘Micro- and nano-sized SiC/fluoroelastomer (FKM) composites were prepared by a mechanical mixing method. These composites were first characterized by a rotorless rheometer. Then the effects of micro- and nano-sized SiC on hardness, static and dynamic mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. The increasing amount of the SiC filler increased the curing efficiency of the biphenyl curing system, which was evident from the rheometric properties of the resulting composites. The tensile properties of composite increased with the increasing of micro- and nano-sized SiC content. When the micro-and nano-sized SiC content was higher than 20 phr, the composites showed almost unchanged tensile properties. The increasing of the tensile property was mainly attributed to the well dispersed micro- and nano-sized SiC particles characterized by SEM images. 11Trace metal concentration in marine organisms of Huanghe River estuary and adjacent sea region显示文摘The Huanghe River estuary, as one of world-known large river estuary and its adjacent sea re-gion are important aquatic product base with rich marine product resources in North China. The au-thors collected about 60 species of fishes. crustacea. mollusca and polychaeta in this region (119°05′-20′E,37°15′-38°15′N) from Apri1 to May. 1984. The concentration of Zn, Cd, Pb and Cu in eachmarine organisms was measured and concentration factors of trace metals were calculated. The ashingmethods was used for sample treatments. 12Narrow and broad senses on salinity scale显示文摘The narrow sense and applicable limit of Practical Salinity Scale 1978 (PSS78) and volumetric titration using silver nitrate to measure the salinity of non conservative oceanwater are discussed.The salinity obtained by electrical conductivity method and chlorinity salinity method obviously deviates from the absolute salinity( S A). The Density Salinity Scale(DSS98)proposed by the writers can be extensively used in conservative and non conservative water samples. The merits of the density salinity scale are as follows. (1)The Density Salinity Scale is only related to seawater mass and its buoyant effect, and is not influenced by the variation in seawater composition, and therefore,has high reliability,and repeatability for salinity determination. (2)The salinity values measured by the DSS98 have a conservative property.For oceanwater samples the salinity values are the same as those determined by the PSS78; for non conservative water samples(e g. samples from industrial sources),the salinity values are close to the absolute salinity values in comparison with those measured by the PSS78 and the Knudsen method. 13A highly effective incubation strategy enhanced the urban bird hatch success显示文摘Urbanization is currently considered one of the most rapid types of global environmental change.Urban habitats are biotically and abiotically different from their rural areas,i.e.,the ambient temperature,predator,and food availability.These novel challenges create new selection pressures,which allow one to investigate ecoevolutionary responses to contemporary environmental change.A total of 118 breeding nests were monitored for nest predation in both urban and rural areas from 2018 to 2020.We used environmental factors from urban and rural areas and behavioral data from 439 Chinese Blackbird(Turdus mandarinus)valid incubation days to understand the impact of urbanization on the incubation behavior of blackbirds and its adaptation mechanism to the urban environment.Cities have warmer ambient temperatures and lower predation pressures than rural areas.Urban blackbirds chose the incubation strategy with shorter and more bouts,while rural blackbirds selected the incubation strategy with longer and fewer bouts.The plasticity of incubation behavior of urban blackbirds was higher than that of rural areas,and the range of egg temperature was also higher than that of rural areas.In addition,incubation temperature and the number of bouts per day were the key factors affecting the day survival rate of blackbirds,and the hatching rate of urban blackbirds was higher than that of rural blackbirds.Our results provide evidence for behavioral shifts in blackbirds during adaptation to urbanization and support the central role of behavioral adaptation in the successful colonization of new environments by wildlife.These help us understand the behavioral characteristics required for wildlife to live in cities and the urban adaptors faced environmental pressures.Long Ma Yuancheng Liu Wenjing Lu Zheng Zhang Wanyou Li Ziwei Zhang Xueli Zhang Chaoying Zhu Junpeng Bai Zhifeng Xu Yuqing Han Luzhang Ruan 2023Avian Research2023,14,1:0
