| 1 | Fundamental Theories and Key Technologies for Smart andOptimal Manufacturing in the Process Industry显示文摘Given the significant requirements for transforming and promoting the process industry, we present themajor limitations of current petrochemical enterprises, including limitations in decision-making, produc-tion operation, efficiency and security, information integration, and so forth. To promote a vision of theprocess industry with efficient, green, and smart production, modern information technology should beutilized throughout the entire optimization process for production, management, and marketing. To focuson smart equipment in manufacturing processes, as well as on the adaptive intelligent optimization of themanufacturing process, operating mode, and supply chain management, we put forward several key scien-tific problems in engineering in a demand-driven and application-oriented manner, namely:intelligentsensing and integration of all process information, including production and management information; collaborative decision-making in the supply chain, industry chain, and value chain, driven by knowledge; cooperative control and optimization of plant-wide production processes via human-cyber-physical in-teraction; and Q life-cycle assessments for safety and environmental footprint monitoring, in addition totracing analysis and risk control. In order to solve these limitations and core scientific problems, we furtherpresent fundamental theories and key technologies for smart and optimal manufacturing in the processindustry. | 2 | Experimental research on coal seam similar material proportion and its application显示文摘In this paper, the optimization design of the low strength mechanical test and orthogonal test have been analyzed in order to simulate the mechanical properties of thick and extra-thick coal seam accurately in a similar material simulation test. The results show that the specimen can reach a wider range of strength when cement has been used compared to that of gypsum, suggesting that cement is more suitable for making coal seam in similar material simulation tests. The uniaxial compressive strength is more sensitive to cement than coal or sand. The proportion of coal and sand do not play a decisive role in uniaxial compressive strength. The uniaxial compressive strength and specimen density decrease as the mass percent of coal and aggregate–binder ratio rise. There is a positive correlation between uniaxial compressive strength and density. The No. 5 proportion(cement: sand: water: activated carbon: coal = 6:6:7:1.1:79.9)was chosen to be used in the similar material simulation test of steeply dipping and extra-thick coal seam with a density of 0.913 g/cm^3 and an uniaxial compressive strength of 0.076 MPa which are in accordance with the similarity theory. | 6 | A Hybrid Improved Genetic Algorithm and Its Application in Dynamic Optimization Problems of Chemical Processes显示文摘The solutions of dynamic optimization problems are usually very difficult due to their highly nonlinear and multidimensional nature. Genetic algorithm (GA) has been proved to be a feasible method when the gradient is difficult to calculate. Its advantage is that the control profiles at all time stages are optimized simultaneously, but its convergence is very slow in the later period of evolution and it is easily trapped in the local optimum. In this study, a hybrid improved genetic algorithm (HIGA) for solving dynamic optimization problems is proposed to overcome these defects. Simplex method (SM) is used to perform the local search in the neighborhood of the optimal solution. By using SM, the ideal searching direction of global optimal solution could be found as soon as possible and the convergence speed of the algorithm is improved. The hybrid algorithm presents some improvements, such as protecting the best individual, accepting immigrations, as well as employing adaptive crossover and Gaussian mutation operators. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by solving several dynamic optimization problems. | 7 | In situ generation of Li_(3)N concentration gradient in 3D carbon-based lithium anodes towards highly-stable lithium metal batteries显示文摘The uncontrolled dendrite growth of lithium metal anodes(LMAs)caused by unstable anode/electrolyte interface and uneven lithium deposition have impeded the practical applications of lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Constructing a robust artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)and regulating the lithium deposition behavior is an effective strategy to address these issues.Herein,a three-dimensional(3D)lithium anode with gradient Li_(3)N has been in-situ fabricated on carbon-based framework by thermal diffusion method(denoted as CC/Li/Li_(3)N).Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that Li_(3)N can effectively promote the transport of Li^(+)due to the low energy barrier of Li^(+)diffusion.As expected,the Li_(3)N-rich conformal artificial SEI film can not only effectively stabilize the interface and avoid parasitic reactions,but also facilitate fast Li^(+)transport across the SEI layer.The anode matrix with uniformly distributed Li3N can enable homogenous deposition of Li,thus preventing Li dendrite propagation.Benefiting from these merits,the CC/Li/Li_(3)N anode achieves ultralong-term cycling for>1000 h at a current density of 2 m A cm^(-2)and dendrite-free Li deposition at an ultrahigh rate of 20 m A cm^(-2).Moreover,the full cells coupled with LiFePO4cathodes show extraordinary cycling stability for>300 cycles in liquidelectrolyte-based batteries and display a high-capacity retention of 96.7%after 100 cycles in solid-state cells,demonstrating the promising prospects for the practical applications of LMBs. | Wenzhu Cao Weimin Chen Mi Lu Cheng Zhang Du Tian Liang Wang Faquan Yu | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1: | 4 |
| 8 | Mechanical and tribological performance of CoCrNiHf_(x)eutectic medium-entropy alloys显示文摘The excellent properties of the multi-principal element alloys(e.g.,the CoCrNi medium-entropy alloy)make them a perfect candidate for structure materials.Their low strength and poor wear-resistance,however,limit considerably their applications.In this study,a lamellar eutectic microstructure was introduced by addition of Hf into CoCrNi alloy to produce a series of CoCrNiHf_(x)(x=0.1,0.2,0.3 and 0.4)eutectic medium-entropy alloys.A homogeneous eutectic microstructure with an alternate array of the soft FCC solid-solution phase and the hard Laves phase was identified for the as-cast CoCrNiHf_(0.3)alloy.After an investigation of the microstructure,mechanical and tribological properties,it was found that the hardness(plasticity)increases(decreases)with the increasing volume fraction of the Laves phase and the CoCrNiHf_(0.3)eutectic alloy exhibits both good plasticity and high strength.The wear behavior is strongly dependent on the applied normal load.For a low normal load,its tribological behavior follows the Archard's equation and a higher hardness due to Hf addition can resist plastic deformation and abrasive wear.When the normal load is high enough,the hypoeutectic or hypereutectic alloy,which possessing either high strength or good ductility but not at the same time,exhibit a poor wear resistance.In comparison,the full eutectic CoCrNiHf_(0.3)alloy with a superior combination of strength and toughness shows the best wear performance,as it can significantly reduce fracture during wear. | Yin Du Xuhui Pei Zhaowu Tang Fan Zhang Qing Zhou Haifeng Wang Weimin Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31: | 4 |

| 11 | Colonization of endophyte Acremonium sp. D212 in Panax notoginseng and rice mediated by auxin and jasmonic acid显示文摘Endophytic fungi can be beneficial to plant growth. However, the molecular mechanisms under-lying colonization of Acremonium spp. remain unclear. In this study, a novel endophytic Acremonium strain was isolated from the buds of Panax notoginseng and named Acremonium sp. D212. The Acremonium sp. D212 could colonize the roots of P. notoginseng, enhance the resistance of P. notoginseng to root rot disease, and promote root growth and saponin bio-synthesis in P. notoginseng. Acremonium sp. D212 could secrete indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and jasmonic acid (JA), and inoculation with the fungus increased the endogenous levels of IAA and JA in P. noto-ginseng. Colonization of the Acremonium sp. D212 in the roots of the rice line Nipponbare was dependent on the concentration of methyl jasmonate (MeJA) (2–15μmol/L) and 1-naphthalenacetic acid (NAA) (10–20μmol/L). Moreover, the roots of the JA signaling-defective coi1-18 mutant were colonized by Acremonium sp. D212 to a lesser degree than those of the wild-type Nipponbare and miR393b-overexpressing lines, and the colonization was res-cued by MeJA but not by NAA. It suggests that the cross-talk between JA signaling and the auxin biosynthetic pathway plays a crucial role in the colonization of Acremonium sp. | 13 | Mode selection and high-quality upconversion lasing from perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates显示文摘In recent years,halide perovskite nanostructures have had great advances and have opened up a bright future for micro/nanolasers.However,upconversion lasing by two-photon excitation with mode selection and high quality factor in one device is still rarely reported.Herein,two lasing modes are demonstrated in the all-inorganic perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates with subwavelength thickness and uniform square shape.The net optical gain is quickly established in less than 1 ps and persists more than 30 ps,revealed by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.The temperature-dependent low-threshold amplified spontaneous emission confirms the net gain for stimulated emission with a high characteristic temperature of 403 K,far surpassing the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 semiconductor gain media.Remarkably,upconversion lasing based on two kinds of microcavity effects,Fabry–Pérot and whispering-gallery modes,from the microplates at room temperature is successfully achieved with a low threshold operating in multi-or single-mode,respectively.Surprisingly,the quality factor(~3551)is among the best values obtained from perovskite micro/nanoplate upconversion lasers without an external cavity.Moreover,the highly stable chromaticity with color drift only less than 0.1 nm also outbalances the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 ones.These superior performances of CsPb2Br5 microplate lasing with a facile solution synthesis procedure will offer a feasible structure to fabricate specific functionalities for high-performance frequency upconversion micro/nanoscale photonic integrated devices. | ZHENGZHENG LIU CHUNWEI WANG ZHIPING HU JUAN DU JIE YANG ZEYU ZHANG TONGCHAO SHI WEIMIN LIU XIAOSHENG TANG AND YUXIN LENG | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,9: | 2 |
