2Strongly peraluminous granites of Mesozoic in Eastern Nanling Range, southern China: Petrogenesis and implications for tectonics显示文摘The strongly peraluminous granites (SPGs) of Eastern Nanling Range (ENR) are a characteristic of all bearing highly aluminous minerals, such as muscovite±Al-rich biotite±tourmaline±garnet, and lack of cordierite. In respect of petrography, geochemistry, Nd isotope, and single grain zircon U-Pb dating, the representative granite bodies of them are studied. The research shows that these granites were emplaced in two stages, namely 228-225 Ma BP and J2-3 159-156 Ma BP, belonging to Indosinian and early Yanshanian periods, respectively, and they have low εNd(t) values (-10.6--11.1), high A/CNK, Rb/Sr ratios and tDM values (1887-1817 Ma), and REE's tetrad effect (TE1, 3=1.13-1.34). In comparison with related geology, petrology and chronology of granites in adjacent regions, it is suggested that Indosinian SPGs of ENR formed in the circumstance of post-collisional extension 20 Ma after the major collision of Indosinian Movement (258-243 Ma BP) in Indo-China Peninsula, and early Yanshanian SPGs formed in the background of back-arc extension setting controlled by paleo-Pacific tectonic domain, and J1, the interval of two stages, is the interim from Tethyan to Pacific tectonic domains in South China. 3SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages and tectonic implications for Indosinian granitoids of southern Zhuguangshan granitic composite, South China显示文摘The large southern Zhuguangshan granitic batholith composite consists of granites with ages varying from the Caledonian through Indosinian to Yanshanian. Based on K-Ar dating data, the ages of the major parts of this composite were previously regarded as Yanshanian. In this study, the SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating method has been adopted for six plutons, Ledong, Longhuashan, Dawozi, Zhaidi, Baiyun and Jiangnan, in the southern Zhuguangshan composite, in which the four plutons other than Baiyun and Jiangnan were previously regarded as Yanshanian granites. Magmatic zircons from these six plutons, dated by this study, have yielded ages of 239±5 Ma (MSWD = 2.5), 239±5 Ma (MSWD = 2.5), 239±2 Ma (MSWD = 1.7), 239±4 Ma (MSWD = 3.2), 231±2 Ma (MSWD = 0.81) and 231±3 Ma (MSWD = 1.8), respectively. The results indicate that these plutons were formed by early Indosinian magmatism. Geochemical characteristics suggest that these granites were formed in an extensional tectonic environment. 4Geochemical Characteristics and Genesis of the Luxi-Xianrenzhang Diabase Dikes in Xiazhuang Uranium Orefield, Northern Guangdong Province显示文摘The Luxi-Xianrenzhang diabase dikes were emplaced into the eastern part of the Guidong composite granitoids in northern Guangdong Province at the end of the Early Cretaceous. They show tholeiitic features, enrichment in large ion lithophile elements, slight enrichment in light rare earth elements, depletion in Zr and Hf, and basically no depletion in Nb and Ta and no Eu anomaly. They are similar to intraplate basalt in terms of trace element characteristics. They have high εNd(t) values (3.6–4.9), initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.70530–0.70641) and δ18O values and Dupal anomaly of Pb isotope compositions. Their Sr-Nd, Pb-Sr, Pb-Nd and Pb-Pb isotopes plot between DMM and EMII, with Pb similar to EMII, Nd relatively close to DMM and Sr in between. 5The thermal history of the miarolitic granite at Xincun, Fujian Province, China显示文摘The thermal history of the late Mesozoic miarolitic granite has been studied based on zircon U-Pb dating, whole rock Rb-Sr dating and K-Ar dating of muscovite, biotite and K-feldspar from the same rock sample. From the beginning of zircon crystallization to the closure of K-Ar system of biotite, the granite body had a slow cooling rate (11.0℃/Ma) and an ascending rate (0.07 mm/a). From the end of this stage to the closure of K-Ar system of K-feldspar, the granite body increased its cooling rate (45℃/Ma) and ascending rate (0.36 mm/a). 6Isotopic Geochronology of the Xianghongdian Alkaline Complex, Northern Margin of the Dabie Mountains, China显示文摘To the north of the Qinling-Dabie orogen there exists a Mesozoic (K1) granite-syenite belt called the Beihuaiyang granite-syenite belt, in which the Xianghongdian alkaline complex outcrops in the Devonian Foziling schist and also intruded into the slightly earlier volcanic rocks. This alkaline complex is composed of syenite, alkaline syenite and nepheline syenite, but the nepheline syenite occurs inside the alkaline syenite in the pod-like, irregular, lenticular or layered shape. Researches on the petrogenesis of the alkaline complex and the relationship between the alkaline syenite and the nepheline syenite must rely on precise isotopic ages. Previous researches have reported iso-topic dating results merely by the 40Ar/39Ar method on hornblende and biotite separated from the alkaline syenite and nepheline syenite. 9Sm-Nd dating and Nd-Sr isotopic characteristics of the Shimian ophiolite suiten,Sichuan Province显示文摘By mcasuring the Sm-Nd and Rb-Sr isotopiccompositions of harzburgite and gabbro from Shimianophiolite suite, we got the whole rock Sm-Nd isochron age of(938 ± 30) Ma (2σ), and the e Nd of 7.6 ± 0.8 (2σ), which showsthat the ophiolite was formed at the Early Neoproterozoic.The obvious change (0.70209-0.70708) of Isr values of theophiolite is caused by the meteoric hydrothermal alteration.The high εNd values indicate that the primitive magma wasderived from the intense depleted mantle rescrvoir. 10Sm-Nd isotopic compositions of Cambrian-Ordovician strata at the Jinggangshan area in Jiangxi Province: Tectonic implications显示文摘Whole-rock Sm-Nd isotopes were investigated for Cambrian-Ordovician strata from the Jinggangshan area between the Yangtze Block and Cathysia Block in South China. These strata were deposited as a greatly thick unit of muddy-sandy laminas with intercalated carbonate and organic carbon-bearing layers. They have low εNd(t) values of –13.9 to –7.9 and old Nd model ages of 1842 to 2375 Ma. In tDM-tStr diagram, they are far away from the concordant line but fall within the evolution zone of the Proterozoic crust of South China. This indicates that the Cambrian-Ordovician strata are mainly composed of mat- ters eroded from ancient Paleoproterozoic crust that may mainly consist of continental-derived detrital sediments with high maturity in the Cathysia Block. However, the Ordovician Jueshangou Formation and Dui’ershi Formation have εNd(t) values of –10.5 and –7.9 at the higher end of the above range and Nd model ages of 1842 to 2059 Ma at the lower end of the above range. This suggests involvement of more detritus that were eroded from the relatively juvenile crust from Late Paleoproterozoic to the Early Neoproterozoic. 11Classification and Source Materials of Continental Crust Transformation Series Granitoids in South China显示文摘The granitoids of the continental crust transformation series in South China may be divided into threetypes: (1) synorogenic migmatic and magmatic type. (2) anorogenic continental crust anatexis type, and (3)syncollision type. Based on the results of Sr and Nd isotopic determinations, the source material compositionof the three types of granitoids is calculated with crust-mantle binary mixing simulation. The calculations indi-cate that the granitoids of the first type consist of 78.6-89.7% upper crust endmember materials and15.0-10.3% depleted mantle endmember materials, the granitoids of the second type are composed of 63.7%upper crust endmember materials and 36.3% depleted mantle endmember materials, and those of the third type100% upper crust endmember materials. 12Isotope Geochemical Characteristics and Material Sources of Tin--Bearing Porphyries in South China显示文摘Tin-bearing porphyries in South China can be divided into the F-rich and F-poorsubtypes. They are high-silica (SiO2>71%), peraluminous (A/NKC>1.0) and rich inincompatible elements (Rb, Zr, U, W, Sn) and have weak Ce (δCe=0.68-0.82) and strong Eu(δEu=0.01-0.38) negative anomalies. Meantime, they also have low δNd(-6.3- -8.4), high207Pb/204Pb (15.588-15.790), medium to high (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.7084-0.7287) and relatively highδ18O(9.1-10.3‰). These characteristics clearly suggest that the two subtypes of tin-bearingporphyries were derived from the crustal materials. Their differences lie only in the existence ofcertain different components in their source materials. 14Petrogenesis of Early Cretaceous adakitic granodiorite: Implication for a crust thickening event within the Cathaysia Block, South China显示文摘Adakitic rocks in continental settings are commonly considered to be formed by partial melting of thickened or delaminated lower crust. Investigations on this kind of rocks can provide important information about crustal evolution complementary to information from other rocks. This paper reports adakitic granodiorite of the Lingxi pluton in the interior of the Cathayisa Block. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating shows that it was formed in the late Early Cretaceous(100±1 Ma). The granodiorite has geochemical features of adakitic rocks derived from partial melting of the thickened lower crust, e.g., high SiO2(mainly ranging from 64.4 to 68.9 wt.%) and Sr(624–894 ppm) contents, Sr/Y(49.9–60.8) and La/Yb(23.4–42.8) values, low Y(10.3–17.1 ppm), Ni(5.62–11.8 ppm) and MgO(mostly from 0.86 wt.% to 1.57 wt.%) contents and weak Eu anomaly. It has initial 87Sr/86 Sr ratios of 0.7086–0.7091, εNd(t) values of.6.2 to.5.9 and zircon εHf(t) values mostly of.10.1 to.7.6. Based on the geochemical characteristics and simple modelling, it is suggested that the most likely generation mechanism of the Lingxi granodiorite is partial melting of a thickened Proterozoic lower continental crust at a pressure ≥12 kbar(or crust thickness ≥40km), leaving a garnet-bearing amphibolite residue. Combining our results and previous studies of the tectonic evolution of the Cathaysia Block, we propose that the crust was thickened to over 40 km by a compressive event occurring during the late Early Cretaceous, which is supported by the observation that there is an angular unconformity between the Upper Cretaceous Series and the early Lower Cretaceous or the Jurassic rocks. After this event, the Cathaysia Block experienced a lithospheric extension and thinning probably driven by the high-angle paleo-Pacific subduction. With the attenuation of lithosphere, the lower crust was heated to partial melting by upwelling asthenospheric materials, resulting in generation of the Lingxi granodiorite and other coeval granitoids in the Cathaysia Block. 15The Nd-Sr isotope study of Mesozoic granitoids in Jiangxi Province显示文摘Nd-Sr isotopic compositions of 12 Mesozoic granitoids from Jiangxi Province have been reported. They show loe-εND(-13.8—- 8.3), high-lsr(0.71069—0.73981) and old tDM (2087—1635 Ma). Comparison between the Sm-Nd isotopic compositions of the granitoids and those of the basement metamorphic rocks suggests that these granitoids were mainly derived from the metasedimentary rocks. There is an east-west trend Mesozoic granitoid zone with lowtDM from S. Jiangxi to S. Fujian. 16The Characteristics and Genetic Mechanism of Igneous Topazites in South China显示文摘Igneous topazites found recently in South China are closely associated with F-rich granites in time and space. They have a typical igneous porphyritic texture. The phenocrysts are topaz and quartz, while the groundmass consists mainly of prismatic or acicular topaz microlites and anhedral quartz. Compared with granites, topazites are rich in SiO2 (65.06%-81.12% ) and Al2O3 (13.01%-18.09%) but poor in MgO and Na2O and strongly peraluminous with A/NKC = 3.204-37.313. Geochemically, the rocks are evidently depleted in Sr and Ba, but enriched in Sn, W, Nb and F. The concentrations of Sn and partial W in the topazites are 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than the average of acid rocks. The F-riched granites related to the topazites in the area usually have much higher ISr (0.7103-0.7460) and δ18OQ‰ (9.5-14.24), but lower INdCT) (-4.8- 9.4). It suggests that the topazite is similar to S-type granites in genesis. 17Microwave Synthesis of CdTe/TGA Quantum Dots and Their Thermodynamic Interaction with Bovine Serum Albumin显示文摘The thioglycollic acid(TGA) as a capping agent, CdTe/TGA quantum dots(QDs) with excellent properties were synthesized under microwave irradiation. The TGA/Cd/Te molar ratios, reaction time, temperature and p H are the crucial factors for properties of QDs. The QDs were characterized by UVvis absorption and fluorescence spectra, transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The experimental results show that when the p H value is 11.5 and molar ratio of TGA:Cd:Te is 1.2:1:0.4 at 100 ℃ heating for 15 min, the resulted QDs exhibit a high fluorescence quantum yield of 78%. The fluorescence full width at half maximum(FHMW) of QDs is around 23 nm. The products are spherical with average size of 3-5 nm. There is a strong coordination effect between TGA and Cd2+. Moreover, the results of interaction between as-made QDs and bovine serum albumin(BSA) suggest that the QDs-BSA binding reaction is a static quenching. 19Nd, Sr and O Isotopic Study on Spilite-Keratophyre in Xiqiu,,Zhejiang Province, China显示文摘Nd, Sr and O isotopic study on the spilite-keratophyre sequence in Xiqiu shows that its ∈Nd values are inthe range of 4.02-5.26, and its ∈Sr values, +1.4-2.6. According to the points of these data in the ∈Nd-T,∈Sr-T and ∈Nd-∈Sr diagrams, the spilite-keratophyre is interpreted as being slightly contaminated by crustalmaterials. Its δ18O values are 3.9-5.0‰. The depletion of 18O in the rocks resulted from the influence ofseawater hydrothermal alteration during or soon after the rock formation.
