1New Re-Os Isotopic Constrains on the Formation of the Metalliferous Deposits of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation显示文摘The Terreneuvian Epoch(541–521 Ma)is also an important period for metallogenesis in South China, as was represented by the widespread occurrences of Ni-Mo polymetallic layers on the antecedent shallow platform margin and the V-enriched black shales in deeper slope-basin settings. In this study, we have measured Re-Os isochron ages of Ni-Mo polymetallic layers(Songlin, Niuchang, Sancha, Chuanpengwan), V-rich black shales(Bahuang), and non-metalliferous black shales(Shuidong) in the basal Niutitang Formation in Guizhou and Hunan province, South China. The Ni-Mo polymetallic layers and V-enriched black shales have similar Re-Os isochron ages, suggesting concurrent deposition of these two types of metalliferous ores. This suggestion is consistent with the traditional stratigraphic correlation by using the nodular phosphorite bed directly underlying these metalliferous layers as a stratigraphic marker. Furthermore, the metalliferous ores and non-metalliferous black shales have similar initial ^(187)Os/^(188) Os ratios of 0.8–0.9, arguing for a dominant seawater origin with minor contribution of hydrothermal activity. Furthermore, Re-Os isotopic data also imply that Ni-Mo and V ore might have derived from the same source. We suggest that the spatial distribution of metalliferous ores can be explained by the development of non-sulfidic anoxic-suboxic wedge(NSASW) in the slope-basin and sulfidic wedge in the previous platform margin. Upwelling of deep water first transects the mildly reduced, organic rich NSASW, in which V(V) is reduced to V(IV), and is preferentially removed from seawater by organometallic complex formation. As a result, V-rich black shale deposits in the slope-basin of Yangtze Platform. 3Density functional theory investigation on selective adsorption of VOCs on borophene显示文摘In the field of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)pollution control,adsorption is one of the major control methods,and effective adsorbents are desired in this technology.In this work,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations are employed to investigate the adsorption of typical VOCs molecules on the two-dimensional material borophenes.The results demonstrate that both structure ofχBorophene;2D material;Volatile organic compounds(VOCs);Selective adsorption;Electronic structure andβ12 borophene can chemically adsorb ethylene and formaldehyde with forming chemical bonds and releasing large energy.However,other VOCs,including ethane,methanol,formic acid,methyl chloride,benzene and toluene,are physically adsorbed with weak interaction.The analysis of density of states(DOS)reveals that the chemical adsorption changes the conductivity of borophenes,while the physical adsorption has no distinct effect on the conductivity.Therefore,bothχ^(3)andβ_(12) borophene are appropriate adsorbents for selective adsorption of ethylene and formaldehyde,and they also have potential in gas sensor applications due to the obvious conductivity change during the adsorption.Wenlang Li Quanguo Jiang Didi Li Zhimin Ao Taicheng Ana 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:0
4Achieving Bright Mechanoluminescence in a Hydrogen-Bonded Organic Framework by Polar Molecular Rotor Incorporation显示文摘Luminescent hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs)have attracted increasing attention due to their corresponding luminescence that enables readily visualization of structural dynamics.HOFs with the mechanoluminescence(ML)property can emit light without photon excitation and are greatly attractive for advanced applications,but research in this area has been limiting.Herein,we report the first example of an ML-active flexible HOF with permanent porosity,named 8PCOM,assembled from polar molecular rotors with an aggregation-induced emission property.When responding to different solvent vapors,reversible structural transformations between ML-active and-inactive 8PCOM frameworks occur,including a single-crystal-to-single-crystal(SCSC)transformation.Thus,guest-induced breathing behaviors are mainly attributed to phenyl rotations of polar molecular rotors induced by external stimuli.During reversible structural transformations of various 8PCOM frameworks with different pores,the significant ML property is achieved successfully through supramolecular dipole moment regulation.Upon mechanical force,bright emission of the ML-active 8PCOM framework is observed without UV irradiation,and the ML-active crystals can be easily prepared and regenerated.This work not only provides a valuable strategy for engineering future multifunctional HOFs but also enriches the types and applications of existing luminescent porous materials.Qiuyi Huang Wenlang Li Zhan Yang Juan Zhao Yang Li Zhu Mao Zhiyong Yang Siwei Liu Yi Zhang Zhenguo Chi 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,5:0
