1Far-field super-resolution ghost imaging with a deep neural network constraint显示文摘Ghost imaging(GI)facilitates image acquisition under low-light conditions by single-pixel measurements and thus has great potential in applications in various fields ranging from biomedical imaging to remote sensing.However,GI usually requires a large amount of single-pixel samplings in order to reconstruct a high-resolution image,imposing a practical limit for its applications.Here we propose a far-field super-resolution GI technique that incorporates the physical model for GI image formation into a deep neural network.The resulting hybrid neural network does not need to pre-train on any dataset,and allows the reconstruction of a far-field image with the resolution beyond the diffraction limit.Furthermore,the physical model imposes a constraint to the network output,making it effectively interpretable.We experimentally demonstrate the proposed GI technique by imaging a flying drone,and show that it outperforms some other widespread GI techniques in terms of both spatial resolution and sampling ratio.We believe that this study provides a new framework for GI,and paves a way for its practical applications.Fei Wang Chenglong Wang Mingliang Chen Wenlin Gong Yu Zhang Shensheng Han Guohai Situ 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,1:6
2Assessing the benthic habitat quality in the Huanghe(Yellow River) Estuary and its adjacent areas using AMBI and M-AMBI显示文摘The protection of the biological diversity and the maintenance of the regional ecological integrity for the Huanghe(Yellow River) Estuary and its adjacent areas are practically significant and valuable. However, frequent human activities and natural climate changes have caused vigorous disturbances on the ecosystem in these sea areas. An objective assessment on the benthic habitat quality(BHQ) of the Huanghe Estuary and its adjacent areas is conducted, using AZTI's Marine Biotic Index(AMBI) and multivariate AMBI(M-AMBI) based on the data of macrobenthos in May and August 2011. The results show that both the indices do not correlate significantly, and their assessment results are greatly different. All of the samples assessed using the AMBI were 'high' or 'good', because the ecological group I(EGI) and the ecological group II(EGII) were dominant macrobenthic ecological groups in the research area. Owing to a low species' richness and a high individual abundance in some samples, the BHQ levels using the M-AMBI were worse than those of the AMBI. Significant correlations are observed between the M-AMBI, water depth, bottom water salinity and dissolved inorganic nitrogen, thus the M-AMBI could sensitively respond to environmental changes and distinguish influences from uninfluenced stations, but the AMBI could not. The consistent results between the AMBI and the M-AMBI mainly appeared in the uninfluenced(undisturbed or slightly disturbed) stations. Therefore, the M-AMBI is more effective than the AMBI in assessing the benthic habitat quality in the Huanghe Estuary and its adjacent areas. Using the M-AMBI to assess the BHQ of the Huanghe Estuary and its adjacent areas, the results show that 3% of the stations are undisturbed and the BHQs are 'high', and 61% of the stations are slightly disturbed and those of the BHQ are 'good', and the rest are meanly disturbed and those of the BHQ are 'moderate'.LUO Xianxiang ZHANG Juan YANG Jianqiang SONG Wenpeng CUI Wenlin 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,9:6
3Draft genome sequence of cauliflower(Brassica oleracea L.var.botrytis)provides new insights into the C genome in Brassica species显示文摘Cauliflower is an important variety of Brassica oleracea and is planted worldwide.Here,the high-quality genome sequence of cauliflower was reported.The assembled cauliflower genome was 584.60 Mb in size,with a contig N50 of 2.11 Mb,and contained 47,772 genes;56.65%of the genome was composed of repetitive sequences.Among these sequences,long terminal repeats(LTRs)were the most abundant(32.71%of the genome),followed by transposable elements(TEs)(12.62%).Comparative genomic analysis confirmed that after an ancient paleohexaploidy(γ)event,cauliflower underwent two whole-genome duplication(WGD)events shared with Arabidopsis and an additional whole-genome triplication(WGT)event shared with other Brassica species.The present cultivated cauliflower diverged from the ancestral B.oleracea species~3.0 million years ago(Mya).The speciation of cauliflower(~2.0 Mya)was later than that of B.oleracea L.var.capitata(approximately 2.6 Mya)and other Brassica species(over 2.0 Mya).Chromosome no.03 of cauliflower shared the most syntenic blocks with the A,B,and C genomes of Brassica species and its eight other chromosomes,implying that chromosome no.03 might be the most ancient one in the cauliflower genome,which was consistent with the chromosome being inherited from the common ancestor of Brassica species.In addition,2,718 specific genes,228 expanded genes,2 contracted genes,and 1,065 positively selected genes in cauliflower were identified and functionally annotated.These findings provide new insights into the genomic diversity of Brassica species and serve as a valuable reference for molecular breeding of cauliflower.Deling Sun Chunguo Wang Xiaoli Zhang Wenlin Zhang Hanmin Jiang Xingwei Yao Lili Liu Zhenghua Wen Guobao Niu Xiaozheng Shan 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:6
4Phase I study of chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody in Chinese patients with CD20-positive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘Objective: This study was designed to determine the safety, pharmacokinetics and biologic effects of a humanmouse chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody(SCT400) in Chinese patients with CD20-positive B-cell nonHodgkin's lymphoma(CD20+ B-cell NHL). SCT400 has an identical amino acid sequence as rituximab, with the exception of one amino acid in the CH1 domain of the heavy chain, which is common in Asians.Methods: Fifteen patients with CD20+ B-cell NHL received dose-escalating SCT400 infusions(250 mg/m^2: n=3; 375 mg/m^2: n=9; 500 mg/m^2: n=3) once weekly for 4 consecutive weeks with a 24-week follow-up period. The data of all patients were collected for pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics analyses.Results: No dose-limiting toxicities were observed. Most drug-related adverse events were grade 1 or 2. Two patients had grade 3 or 4 neutropenia. Under premedication, the drug-related infusion reaction was mild. A rapid, profound and durable depletion of circulating B cells was observed in all dose groups without significant effects on T cell count, natural killer(NK) cell count or immunoglobulin levels. No patient developed antiSCT400 antibodies during the course of the study. SCT400 serum half-life(T1/2), maximum concentration(Cmax) and area under the curve(AUC) generally increased between the first and fourth infusions(P<0.05). At the 375 mg/m^2 dose, the T1/2 was 122.5±46.7 h vs. 197.0±75.0 h, respectively, and the Cmax was 200.6±20.2 μg/m L vs. 339.1±71.0 μg/m L, respectively. From 250 mg/m^2 to 500 mg/m^2, the Cmax and AUC increased significantly in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05). Patients with a high tumor burden had markedly lower serum SCT400 concentrations compared with those without or with a low tumor burden. 5Scalar-matrix-structured ghost imaging显示文摘The features of the characteristic matrix used in linear intensity correlation reconstruction methods are directly related to the quality of ghost imaging. In order to suppress the noise caused by the off-diagonal elements in the characteristic matrix, we propose a reconstruction method for ghost imaging called scalar-matrix-structured ghost imaging(SMGI). The characteristic matrix is made to approximate a scalar matrix by modifying the measurement matrix. 7Pan-genome of Raphanus highlights genetic variation and introgression among domesticated,wild,and weedy radishes显示文摘Post-polyploid diploidization associated with descending dysploidy and interspecific introgression drives plant genome evolution by unclear mechanisms.Raphanus is an economically and ecologically important Brassiceae genus and model system for studying post-polyploidization genome evolution and introgres-sion.Here,we report the de novo sequence assemblies for 11 genomes covering most of the typical sub-species and varieties of domesticated,wild and weedy radishes from East Asia,South Asia,Europe,and America.Divergence among the species,sub-species,and South/East Asian types coincided with Quaternary glaciations.A genus-level pan-genome was constructed with family-based,locus-based,and graph-based methods,and whole-genome comparisons revealed genetic variations ranging from single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)to inversions and translocations of whole ancestral karyotype(AK)blocks.Extensive gene flow occurred between wild,weedy,and domesticated radishes.High fre-quencies of genome reshuffling,biased retention,and large-fragment translocation have shaped the genomic diversity.Most variety-specific gene-rich blocks showed large structural variations.Extensive translocation and tandem duplication of dispensable genes were revealed in two large rearrangement-rich islands.Disease resistance genes mostly resided on specific and dispensable loci.Variations causing the loss of function of enzymes modulating gibberellin deactivation were identified and could play an important role in phenotype divergence and adaptive evolution.This study provides new insights into the genomic evolution underlying post-polyploid diploidization and lays the foundation for genetic improve-ment of radish crops,biological control of weeds,and protection of wild species'germplasms.Xiaohui Zhang Tongjin Liu Jinglei Wang Peng Wang Yang Qiu Wei Zhao Shuai Pang Xiaoman Li Haiping Wang Jiangping Song Wenlin Zhang Wenlong Yang Yuyan Sun Xixiang Li 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,12:3
8A convergence analysis for a class of practical variance-reduction stochastic gradient MCMC显示文摘Stochastic gradient Markov chain Monte Carlo(SG-MCMC) has been developed as a flexible family of scalable Bayesian sampling algorithms. However, there has been little theoretical analysis of the impact of minibatch size to the algorithm's convergence rate. In this paper, we prove that at the beginning of an SG-MCMC algorithm, i.e., under limited computational budget/time, a larger minibatch size leads to a faster decrease of the mean squared error bound. The reason for this is due to the prominent noise in small minibatches when calculating stochastic gradients, motivating the necessity of variance reduction in SG-MCMC for practical use. By borrowing ideas from stochastic optimization, we propose a simple and practical variance-reduction technique for SG-MCMC, that is efficient in both computation and storage.More importantly, we develop the theory to prove that our algorithm induces a faster convergence rate than standard SG-MCMC. 9Performance improvement approaches for optical fiber SPR sensors and their sensing applications显示文摘Optical fiber surface plasmon resonance(SPR) sensors point toward promising application potential in the fields of biomarker detection,food allergen screening,and environmental monitoring due to their unique advantages.This review outlines approaches in improving the fiber SPR sensing performance,e.g.,sensitivity,detection accuracy,reliability,cross-sensitivity,selectivity,convenience and efficiency,and corresponding sensing applications.The sensing principles of SPR sensors,especially the performance indicators and their influencing factors,have been introduced.Current technologies for improving the fiber SPR performance and their application scenarios are then reviewed from the aspects of fiber substrate,intrinsic layer(metal layer),and surface nanomaterial modification.Reasonable design of the substrate can strengthen the evanescent electromagnetic field and realize the multi-parameter sensing,and can introduce the in situ sensing self-compensation,which allows corrections for errors induced by temperature fluctuation,non-specific binding,and external disturbances.The change of the intrinsic layer can adjust the column number,the penetration depth,and the propagation distance of surface plasmon polaritons.This can thereby promote the capability of sensors to detect the large-size analytes and can reduce the full width at half-maximum of SPR curves.The modification of various-dimensionality nanomaterials on the sensor surfaces can heighten the overlap integral of the electromagnetic field intensity in the analyte region and can strengthen interactions between plasmons and excitons as well as interactions between analyte molecules and metal surfaces.Moreover,future directions of fiber SPR sensors are prospected based on the important and challenging problems in the development of fiber SPR sensors.JIANYING JING KUN LIU JUNFENG JIANG TIANHUA XU SHUANG WANG JINYING MA ZHAO ZHANG WENLIN ZHANG TIEGEN LIU 2022Photonics Research2022,10,1:3
10Chromosomal-level genome of macadamia(Macadamia integrifolia)显示文摘Macadamia from the family Proteaceae is a plant native to Australia and has long been favoured by people for its crispy and high nutritional and medicinal value.Here,the genome of GUIRE 1(GR1),a highly heterozygous superior cultivar of macadamia nut,was sequenced and assembled using nanopore sequencing,and a 807-Mb genome(contig N50,1.9 Mb;scaffold N50,54.70 Mb)and 14 chromosomes were obtained.A total of 453 Mb(about 55.95%)repetitive sequences and 37,657 protein-coding genes were obtained by gene annotation and homologous protein comparison.Proteaceae diverged from Nelumbonaceae nearly 115.37 million years ago and from Rubiaceae about 140 million years ago.A genome-wide duplication(WGD)event occurred in macadamia 41 million years ago based on the WGD analysis.The functional enrichment analysis of M.integrifolia-specific gene families revealed their roles in signal transduction,protein phosphorylation,protein binding,and defense response.Here,a highly heterozygous genome of M.integrifolia was unlocked to provide a database for breeding and molecular mechanism research.Chengcai Xia Sirong Jiang Qiujin Tan Wenquan Wang Long Zhao Chenji Zhang Yuting Bao Qi Liu Jianjia Xiao Ke Deng Miaohua He Pengliang An Wenlin Wang Meiling Zou Zhiqiang Xia 2022Tropical Plants2022,1,1:3

12A multi-center,open-label,randomized,parallel-controlled phase II study comparing pharmacokinetic,pharmacodynamics and safety of ripertamab(SCT400)to rituximab(Mab Thera?)in patients with CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Objective:This multi-center,open-label,randomized,parallel-controlled phaseⅡstudy aimed to compare the pharmacokinetics(PK),pharmacodynamics(PD)and safety profile of ripertamab(SCT400),a recombinant antiCD20 monoclonal antibody,to rituximab(MabThera^(■))in patients with CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).Methods:Patients with CD20-positive B-cell NHL who achieved complete remission or unconfirmed complete remission after standard treatment were randomly assigned at a 1:1 ratio to receive a single dose of ripertamab(375mg/m^(2))or rituximab(MabThera^(■),375 mg/m^(2)).PK was evaluated using area under the concentration-time curve(AUC)from time 0 to d 85(AUC_(0-85d)),AUC from time 0 to week 1(AUC0-1 w),AUC from time 0 to week 2(AUC_(0-2 w)),AUC from time 0 to week 3(AUC_(0-3 w)),AUC from time 0 to week 8(AUC_(0-8 w)),maximum serum concentration(C_(max)),terminal half-life(T_(1/2)),time to maximum serum concentration(T_(max))and clearance(CL).Bioequivalence was confirmed if the 90%confidence interval(90%CI)of the geometric mean ratio of ripertamab/rituximab was within the pre-defined bioequivalence range of 80.0%-125.0%.PD,immunogenicity,and safety were also evaluated.Results:From December 30,2014 to November 24,2015,a total of 84 patients were randomized(ripertamab,n=42;rituximab,n=42)and the PK analysis was performed on 76 patients(ripertamab,n=38;rituximab,n=38).The geometric mean ratios of ripertamab/rituximab for AUC_(0-85d),ATC_(0-inf),and Cmaxwere 96.1%(90%CI:87.6%-105.5%),95.9%(90%CI:86.5%-106.4%)and 97.4%(90%CI:91.6%-103.6%),respectively.All PK parameters met the pre-defined bioequivalence range of 80.0%-125.0%.For PD and safety evaluation,there was no statistical difference in peripheral CD 19-positive B-cell counts and CD20-positive B-cell counts at each visit,and no difference in the incidence of anti-drug antibodies was observed between the two groups.The incidences of treatment-emergent adverse events and treatment-related adverse events were also comparable between the two groups.Conclusions:In this study,the PK,PD,immunogenicity,and safety profile of ripertamab(SCT400)were similar to rituximab(MabThera^(■))in Chinese patients with CD20-positive B-cell NHL.Xiaohong Han Mingzhi Zhang Huaqing Wang Qingyuan Zhang Wei Li Miaowang Hao Yuhuan Gao Jie Jin Hanyun Ren Yun Tang Xiaonan Hong Xiaoyan Ke Hang Su Lin Gui Jianmin Luo Liangzhi Xie Wenlin Gai Yuankai Shi 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,6:1

18Conversion of mouse fibroblasts into oligodendrocyte progenitor-like cells through a chemical approach显示文摘Transplantation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OPCs) is a promising way for treating demyelinating diseases. However, generation of scalable and autologous sources of OPCs has proven difficult. We previously established a chemical condition M9 that could specifically initiate neural program in mouse embryonic fibroblasts. Here we found that M9 could induce the formation of colonies that undergo mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition at the early stage of reprogramming. These colonies may represent unstable and neural lineage-restricted intermediates that have not established a neural stem cell identity. By modulating the culture signaling recapitulating the principle of OPC development, these intermediate cells could be reprogrammed towards OPC fate. The chemical-induced OPC-like cells (ciOPLCs) resemble primary neural stem cell-derived OPCs in terms of their morphology, gene expression, and the ability of self-renewal. Upon differentiation, ciOPLCs could produce functional oligodendrocytes and myelinate the neuron axons in vitro, validating their OPC identity molecularly and functionally. 19Multidirection Update-Based Multiobjective Particle Swarm Optimization for Mixed No-Idle Flow-Shop Scheduling Problem显示文摘The Mixed No-Idle Flow-shop Scheduling Problem(MNIFSP)is an extension of flow-shop scheduling,which has practical significance and application prospects in production scheduling.To improve the efficacy of solving the complicated multiobjective MNIFSP,a MultiDirection Update(MDU)based Multiobjective Particle Swarm Optimization(MDU-MoPSO)is proposed in this study.For the biobjective optimization problem of the MNIFSP with minimization of makespan and total processing time,the MDU strategy divides particles into three subgroups according to a hybrid selection mechanism.Each subgroup prefers one convergence direction.Two subgroups are individually close to the two edge areas of the Pareto Front(PF)and serve two objectives,whereas the other one approaches the central area of the PF,preferring the two objectives at the same time.The MDU-MoPSO adopts a job sequence representation method and an exchange sequence-based particle update operation,which can better reflect the characteristics of sequence differences among particles.The MDU-MoPSO updates the particle in multiple directions and interacts in each direction,which speeds up the convergence while maintaining a good distribution performance.The experimental results and comparison of six classical evolutionary algorithms for various benchmark problems demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Wenqiang Zhang Wenlin Hou Chen Li Weidong Yang Mitsuo Gen 2021Complex System Modeling and Simulation2021,1,3:1
