1固溶原子、析出相和变形对Al-Sc-Zr合金组织和性能的定量影响(英文)显示文摘为了研究固溶原子、析出相粒子和冷变形对Al-Sc-Zr合金组织和性能的影响,对连续流变挤压制备的Al-Sc-Zr合金进行形变热处理,采用电导率、强度、显微硬度测试以及光学显微镜、TEM、STEM对合金在不同处理状态下的显微组织和性能进行研究。建立固溶原子、析出相粒子和冷变形对合金导电率定量贡献的数学模型。结果表明:固溶、时效和冷变形都能使合金的强度得到显著的提升,而固溶原子、沉淀粒子和冷变形对Al合金导电率影响值分别是10.5%(IACS)、2.3%(IACS)和0.5%(IACS)。时效和冷变形处理是获得高强高导铝合金导线的关键。管仁国 金红梅 Wensen JIANG 王祥 王宇翔 李征 张俭 Huinan LIU 2019Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China2019,29,5:7
2Nanomaterials for treating cardiovascular diseases:A review显示文摘Nanomaterials such as nanostructured surfaces,nanoparticles,and nanocomposites represent new viable sources for future therapeutics for cardiovascular diseases.The special properties of nanomaterials such as their intrinsic physiochemical properties,surface energy and surface topographies could actively enhance desirable cellular responses within the cardiovascular system,projecting a growing potential for clinical translation.Recent progress on nanomaterials opened up new opportunities for treating cardiovascular diseases.Successful translation of nanomaterials into cardiovascular applications requires a comprehensive understanding of both nanomaterials and biomedicine,and,thus,it is critical to stress current advancements on both sides.In this review,the authors introduced crucial fabrication techniques for promising nanomaterials for cardiovascular applications.This review highlighted the key elements to consider for their fabrication,properties and applications.The important concerns relevant to cardiovascular nanomaterials,such as cellular responses to nanomaterials and the toxicity of nanomaterials,are also discussed.This review provided an overview of necessary knowledge and key concerns on nanomaterials specific for treating cardiovascular diseases,from the perspectives of both material science and biomedicine.Wensen Jiang Dana Rutherford Tiffany Vuong Huinan Liu 2017Bioactive Materials2017,2,4:6
3Tree-ring δ^(15)N of Qinghai spruce in the central Qilian Mountains of China:Is pre-treatment of wood samples necessary?显示文摘A knowledge of the tree-ring stable nitrogen isotope ratio(δ^(15)N)can deepen our understanding of forest ecosystem dynamics by indicating the long-term availability,cycling and sources of nitrogen(N).However,the radial mobility of N blurs the interannual variations in the long-term N records.Previous studies of the chemical extraction of tree rings before analysis had produced inconsistent results and it is still unclear whether it is necessary to pre-treat wood samples from specific tree species to remove soluble N compounds before determining theδ^(15)N values.We compared the effects of pre-treatment with organic solvents and hot ultrapure water on the N concentration andδ^(15)N of tree rings from endemic Qinghai spruce(Picea crassifolia)growing in the interior of the central Qilian Mountains,China,during the last 60 a.We assessed the effects of different preparation protocols on the removal of the labile N compounds and investigated the need to pre-treat wood samples before determining theδ^(15)N values of tree rings.Increasing trends of the tree-ring N concentration were consistently observed in both the extracted and unextracted wood samples.The total N removed by extraction with organic solvents was about 17.60%,with a significantly higher amount in the sapwood section(P<0.01).Theδ^(15)N values of tree rings decreased consistently from 1960 to 2019 in both the extracted and unextracted wood samples.Extraction with organic solvents increased theδ^(15)N values markedly by about 5.2‰and reduced the variations in theδ^(15)N series.However,extraction with hot ultrapure water had little effect,with only a slight decrease in theδ^(15)N values of about 0.5‰.Our results showed that the radial pattern in the inter-ring movement of N in Qinghai spruce was not minimized by extraction with either organic solvents or hot ultrapure water.It is unnecessary to conduct hot ultrapure water extraction for the wood samples from Qinghai spruce because of its negligible effect on the removal of the labile N.Theδ^(15)N variation trend of tree rings in the unextracted wood samples was not influenced by the heartwood-sapwood transition zone.We suggest that theδ^(15)N values of the unextracted wood samples of the climate-sensitive Qinghai spruce could be used to explore the ecophysiological dynamics while focusing on the long-term variations.WANG Ziyi LIU Xiaohong WANG Keyi ZENG Xiaomin ZHANG Yu GE Wensen KANG Huhu LU Qiangqiang 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,6:1

6A portable device for studying the effects of fluid flow on degradation properties of biomaterials inside cell incubators显示文摘A portable device was designed and constructed for studying the properties of biomaterials in physiologically relevant fluids under controllable flow conditions that closely simulate fluid flow inside the body.The device can fit entirely inside a cell incubator;and,thus,it can be used directly under standard cell culture conditions.An impedance-driven pump was built in the sterile flow loop to control the flow rates of fluids,which made the device small and portable for easy deployment in the incubator.To demonstrate the device functions,magnesium(Mg)as a representative biodegradable material was tested in the flow device for immersion degradation under flow versus static conditions,while the flow module was placed inside a standard cell incubator.The flow rate was controlled at 0.1760.06 ml/s for this study;and,the flow rate is adjustable through the controller module outside of incubators for simulating the flow rates in the ranges of blood flow in human artery(0.050.43 ml/s)and vein(0.020.08 ml/s).Degradation of Mg under flow versus static conditions was characterized by measuring the changes of sample mass and thickness,and Mg2t ion concentrations in the immersion media.Surface chemistry and morphology of Mg after immersion under flow versus static conditions were compared.The portable impedance-driven flow device is easy to fit inside an incubator and much smaller than a peristaltic pump,providing a valuable solution for studying biomaterials and implants(e.g.vascular or ureteral stents)in body fluids under flow versus static conditions with or without cells.Wensen Jiang Jiajia Lin Alex H.Chen Jianwei Pan Huinan Liu 2019Regenerative Biomaterials2019,6,1:0
7Long-term mercury variations in tree rings of the permafrost forest,northeastern China显示文摘Permafrost is a potential mercury(Hg)pool released by thawing,which can raise the risk of Hg pollution under global warming.Tree rings are useful archives of environment-specific Hg exposure over long periods.We determined Hg concentrations in tree rings of two dominant tree species(Larix gmelinii Rupr.and Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica)at permafrost sites in northeastern China.The biweighted mean Hg concentrations ranged from 0.36 to 3.96 ng g^(-1) from 1840 to 2014.The tree-ring width had no significant influence on the Hg concentration.Larch Hg increased slightly before the 1970 s and peaked in the 1990 s.However,the pine Hg concentration increased continuously until the 1930 s,decreased rapidly until the 1970 s,then rose to a peak in the late 1980 s.The change of Hg concentrations in larch and pine revealed a time offset of 4 to 5 years,which implied possibly high mobility of Hg in pine tree rings.Higher Hg concentrations from 1920 to 1960 and subsequent decreases in isolated permafrost forests revealed the local geographical Hg cycling history.Lower Hg concentrations and faster increases in larch suggest the role of additional winter Hg loading for the evergreen pine and species-specific differences in root absorption in response to melting permafrost.Our results highlight possible geographical impacts on tree-ring Hg records,improve understanding of Hg cycles in permafrost forest,and suggest a need to sample additional species in a range of permafrost environments.Huhu KANG Xiaohong LIU Junming GUO Qiuliang ZHANG Yabo WANG Jie HUANG Guobao XU Guoju WU Wensen GE Shichang KANG 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,7:0
8INTERFEROGRAM NOISE REDUCTION ALGORITHM BASE ON MAXIMUM A POSTERIORI ESTIMATE显示文摘Interferogram noise reduction is a very important processing step in Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(InSAR) technique. The most difficulty for this step is to remove the noises and preserve the fringes simultaneously. To solve the dilemma, a new interferogram noise reduction algorithm based on the Maximum A Posteriori(MAP) estimate is introduced in this paper. The algorithm is solved under the Total Generalized Variation(TGV) minimization assumption, which exploits the phase characteristics up to the second order differentiation. The ideal noise-free phase consisting of piecewise smooth areas is involved in this assumption, which is coincident with the natural terrain. In order to overcome the phase wraparound effect, complex plane filter is utilized in this algorithm.
