1Electrical and thermal transport behaviours of high-entropy perovskite thermoelectric oxides显示文摘Oxide-based ceramics could be promising thermoelectric materials because of their thermal and chemical stability at high temperature.However,their mediocre electrical conductivity or high thermal conductivity is still a challenge for the use in commercial devices.Here,we report significantly suppressed thermal conductivity in SrTiO_(3)-based thermoelectric ceramics via high-entropy strategy for the first time,and optimized electrical conductivity by defect engineering.In high-entropy(Ca_(0.2)Sr_(0.2)Ba_(0.2)Pb_(0.2)La_(0.2))TiO_(3)bulks,the minimum thermal conductivity can be 1.17 W/(m·K)at 923 K,which should be ascribed to the large lattice distortion and the huge mass fluctuation effect.The power factor can reach about 295μW/(m·K^(2))by inducing oxygen vacancies.Finally,the ZT value of 0.2 can be realized at 873 K in this bulk sample.This approach proposed a new concept of high entropy into thermoelectric oxides,which could be generalized for designing high-performance thermoelectric oxides with low thermal conductivity.Yunpeng Zheng Mingchu Zou Wenyu Zhang Di Yi Jinle Lan Ce-Wen Nan Yuan-Hua Lin 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2:5

3Fluorene pendant-functionalization of poly(N-vinylcarbazole)as deep-blue fluorescent and host materials for polymer light-emitting diodes显示文摘π-Electron coupling of pendant conjugated segment inπ-stacked semiconducting polymers always causes the formation of defect trapped sites and further quenched high-band excitons,which is harmful to the performance and stability of deep-blue polymer light-emitting diodes(PLEDs).Herein,considerate of“defect”carbazole(Cz)electromers in poly(N-vinylcarbazole)(PVK),a series of fluorene units are introduced into pendant segments(PVCz-DMeF,PVCz-FMeNPh and PVCz-DFMeNPh)to suppress the strongπ-electron coupling of pendant Cz units and enhance radiative transition toward fabricating sable PLEDs.Compared to PVCz-FMeNPh and PVCz-DFMeNPh,PVCz-DMeF spin-coated films show a relatively efficient deep-blue emission,completely similar to its single pendant chromophore,confirmed an extremely weak charge-transfer and electron coupling between adjacent pendant segments.Therefore,PLEDs based on PVCz-DMeF present stable and deep-blue emission with a high color purity(0.17,0.08),associated with extremely weak defect emission at 600∼700nm(induced by carbazole electromers).Finally,PLEDs based on PVCz-DMeF/F8BT blended films(1:1)also present the high maximum luminance(Lmax)of 6261 cd/m2 and current efficiency(CE_(max))of 2.03 cd/A,confirmed slightly trapped sites formation.Therefore,precisely control the arrangement and packing model of pendant units inπ-stacked polymer is an essential prerequisite for building efficient and stable emitter for optoelectronic devices.Ning Sun Qin Zou Wenyu Chen Yingying Zheng Kai Sun Chunbin Li Yamin Han Lubing Bai Chuanxin Wei Jinyi Lin Chengrong Yin Jianguo Wang Wei Huang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8:0
4Voluntary wheel running ameliorated the deleterious effects of high-fat diet on glucose metabolism,gut microbiota and microbial-associated metabolites显示文摘Exercise training is critical for the early prevention and treatment of obesity and diabetes mellitus.However,the mechanism with gut microbiota and fecal metabolites underlying the effects of voluntary wheel running on high-fat diet induced abnormal glucose metabolism has not been fully elaborated.C57BL/6 male mice were randomly assigned to 4 groups according to diets(fed with normal chow diet or high-fat diet)and running paradigm(housed in static cage or with voluntary running wheel).An integrative 16S rDNA sequencing and metabolites profiling was synchronously performed to characterize the effects of voluntary wheel running on gut microbiota and metabolites.It showed that voluntary wheel running prevented the detrimental effects of high-fat feeding on glucose metabolism 16S rDNA sequencing showed remarkable changes in Rikenella and Marvinbryantia genera.Metabolic profiling indicated multiple altered metabolites,which were enriched in secondary bile acid biosynthesis signaling.In conclusion,our study indicated that voluntary wheel running significantly improved glucose metabolism and counteracted the deleterious effects of high-fat feeding on body weight and glucose intolerance.We further found that voluntary wheel running could integratively program gut microbiota composition and fecal metabolites changes,and may regulate muricholic acid metabolism and secondary bile acid biosynthesis in high-fat fed mice.Ling Zhang Wenyu Zou Yongyan Hu Honghua Wu Ying Gao Junqing Zhang Jia Zheng 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,3:0
5Simulation Evaluation of Outdoor Noise Environment in Buildings显示文摘Green campus design has become an essential strategy to enhance campus life and learning.However,noise pol-lution remains a troubling aspect that impacts teaching and learning processes,even causing harm to the health of students and teachers.Therefore,acoustic environment quality design is crucial.This article focuses on the expansion project of a school campus in Shenzhen.We simulated and analyzed the outdoor noise environment separately for the proposed teach-ing building,as well as the existing buildings like the dining hall,teaching building,and laboratory building.The results showed that the proposed teaching building was mainly affected by surrounding noise,with the worst outdoor noise being in classrooms adjacent to the teaching building in the south and the basketball court at the west of the classroom,with maximum noise values reaching 73 dB and 66 dB,respectively.In the future,these rooms should be renovated to achieve an excellent indoor soundproof environment.Cuicui Qin Qiliang Yu Wenyu Zou 2023Journal of Architectural Research and Development2023,7,6:0
