1In-situ observation of electrical tree evolution in epoxy dielectrics with internal cracks显示文摘Gas-filled internal crack might appear in thermoset materials like epoxy resin during the equipment manufacturing,which would become a vulnerable local region to initiate the electrical tree,thus prone to cause insulation failure.The withstand voltage test was carried on epoxy samples with artificial cracks based on a rod-plane electrode arrange-ment.Simultaneously,surface state variation and tree evolution with crack were observed by an optical microscope in conjunction with a charge-coupled device camera.The changes in morphology and chemical status of the crack surface were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,laser Raman spectrometer and energy dispersive spec-trometer,respectively.It was found that the erosion and tree started from the borderline of crack under a relatively low electric field strength;however,the area near the electrode had relatively little damage.The breaking of epoxy molecular chains coarsens the crack surface and further forms deep channels on a micro-level,which is the forerunner of the electrical tree inception.Based on these,the initiation mechanisms of the crack-induced electrical tree and the reasons for the erosion near the borderline have been revealed.This study provides a train thought for the polymer degradation opening up into the initial tree channel during tree evolution processes.Zehua Wu Huidong Tian Sijia Zhu He Li Qingyu Wang Zongliang Xie Peng Liu Zongren Peng 2021High Voltage2021,6,2:3

7Research on the dynamic characteristics of electric field distribution of the±1100 kV Ultra high voltage converter transformer valve‐side bushing using weakly ionised gas conductance model显示文摘Ultra high voltage(UHV)converter transformer valve‐side bushings are the key equipment indirect current(DC)transmission projects,and are subjected to high voltage and large current with large number of harmonics simultaneously.The electric field distribution of converter transformer valve‐side bushings is time‐dependent under DC voltage,polarity reversal voltage and actual voltage waveforms,and the electric and temperature field are coupling with each other in actual operation.The dynamic char-acteristics of the surface charges and the electric field distribution of China's first�1100 kV epoxy/paper-SF6 composite insulation converter trans former valve‐side bushing under 2 h DC withstand test voltage and polarity reversal voltage were analysed considering the natural ionisation,drifting,diffusion and recombination processes of positive and negative ions in SF6 gas and air.The time‐dependent electro‐thermal coupling field of the bushing under the actual voltage waveform in one cycle was ob-tained.The rationality of the simulation method adopted was verified through type tests of the UHV converter transformer valve‐side bushing.The simulation results of the paper can provide a theoretical foundation for the design of converter transformer valve‐side bushings and it is of great significance to ensure the safe operation of converter stations.Qingyu Wang Peng Liu Huidong Tian Gengsheng Xie Zongren Peng Xi Yang 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:0
8Seeking new,ultra-narrow-band blue emitting phosphors with high color purity for wide color gamut displays显示文摘Ultra-narrow-band phosphors have gained widespread applications in lighting and displays to enhance brightness and improve color saturation.Typical phosphor designs employ UCr_(4)C_(4)-type compounds and designing new narrow-band phosphors with high color purity is a major challenge.Here,we explored a Eu^(2+)-doped Ba_(5)GeO_(4)Br_(6)phosphor,showing a narrow-band blue emission(λ_(em)=436 nm) excitation at the near-ultraviolet light with a full width at half maximum of 30.7 nm and high color purity of 96.6%.In addition,attractive cathodoluminescence characteristics were systematically analyzed by varying filament current(30-70 mA) and accelerating voltage(3-7 eV).Robust anti-degradation behavior and color point stability under continuous electron beam bombardment were confirmed.Given its excellent performance in photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence,application in wide color gamut displays appears promising.Using commercial phosphors β-SiAlON:Eu^(2+)and K_(2)SiF6:Mn^(4+)as green and red light co nverte rs respectively,and the title phosphor as the blue light converters,the fabricated w-LED exhibits a wide color gamut of 82% NTSC.Zuobin Tang Feng Du Zhihua Leng Huidong Xie Yanyan Li Lei Zhao 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,12:0
