1Rational cutting height for large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving显示文摘Large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving is a new mining method that improves recovery ratio and single-pass production. It also allows safe and efficient mining. A rational cutting height is one key parameter of this technique. Numerical simulation and a granular-media model experiment were used to analyze the effect of cutting height on the rock pressure of a fully mechanized top-coal caving work face. The recovery ratio was also studied. As the cutting height increases the top-coal thickness is reduced. Changing the ratio of cutting to drawing height intensifies the face pressure and the top-coal shattering. A maximum cutting height exists under a given set of conditions due to issues with surrounding rock-mass control. An increase in cutting height makes the top-coal cave better and the recovery ratio when drawing top-coal is then improved. A method of adjusting the face rock pressure is presented. Changing the cutting to drawing height ratio is the technique used to control face rock pressure. The recovery ratio when cutting coal exceeds that when caving top-coal so the face recovery ratio may be improved by over sizing the cutting height and increasing the top-coal drawing ratio. An optimum ratio of cutting to drawing height exists that maximizes the face recovery ratio. A rational cutting height is determined by comprehensively considering the surrounding rock-mass control and the recovery ratio. 2SDICN: A Software Defined Deployable Framework of Information Centric Networking显示文摘the Information-Centric Networking(ICN) paradigm is proved to have the advantages of decreasing data delivery latency, enhancing user mobility, etc. However, current implementations of ICN require changing the infrastructure of Internet, which hinders its deployment and development. Meanwhile, Software Defined Networking(SDN) emerges as a viable solution to facilitate the deployment of new network paradigm without disrupting production traffic by decoupling the control plane from data forwarding plane. In this paper, the essential properties which reflect ICN working principles are summarized, and a framework called SDICN is designed in accordance to the SDN philosophy. The algorithmic frameworks of SDICN which can satisfy the essential properties are designed based on the programmability and virtualization functions of SDN. Based on Open Flow and data center technology, a prototype of SDICN is implemented. 3Towards Incremental Deployment of Diverse Network Architectures on the Internet显示文摘In the past decades, many cleanslate future network architectures have gained limited deployment in current Internet, due to the stability and rigidity of TCP/IP, the narrow waist of the Internet. We first propose three principles that the future Internet architecture should obey to be well-defined network architecture, i.e. supporting service innovation and enabling evolvability. By abstracting different modes from TCP/IP network and SDN technology, we argue that the centric-distributed-centric(CDC) mode has great potential for the well-defined future network architecture in which diverse network architectures could be incrementally deployed and coexist with each other. Prototype system regulated by CDC mode was developed. 5Antiviral function of peptidoglycan recognition protein in Spodoptera exigua(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae)显示文摘Peptidoglycan recognition proteins(PGRPs)are a class of molecules that play a critical role in insect immunity.Understanding the function of PGRPs is important to improve the efficiency of microbial insecticides.In this study,we investigated the role of PGRP-LB(a long type PGRP)in insect immunity against viruses using Spodoptera exigua and Spodoptera exigua multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus(SeMNPV)as an insect-virus model.We cloned and identified a PGRP-LB gene from S.exigua;the gene consisted of 7 exons that encoded a polypeptide of 234 amino acids with a signal peptide and a typical amidase domain.Expression analysis revealed that the abundance of SePGRP-LB transcripts in the fat body was greater than in other tissues.Overexpression of SePGRP-LB resulted in a significant decrease of 49%in the rate of SeMNPV-infected cells.In addition,the multiplication of SeMNPV was significantly decreased:a decrease of 79%in the production of occlusion-derived virion(ODV),and a maximum decrease of 50%in the production of budded virion(BV).In contrast,silencing of SePGRP-LB expression by RNA interference resulted in a significant 1.65-fold increase in the rate of SeMNPV-infected cells,a significant 0.54-fold increase in ODV production,a maximum 1.57-fold increase in BV production,and the larval survival dropped to 21%.Our findings show that SePGRP-LB has an antiviral function against SeMNPV,and therefore this gene may provide a target for lepidopteran pest control using virus insecticides.Jie Li Jie Li Zhaohao Jing Qianlong Yu Guiling Zheng Bin Zhang Longsheng Xing Huan Zhang Fanghao Wan Changyou Li 2023Insect Science2023,30,4:0
6A porous poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) scaffold induces innervation in a rabbit model of disc degeneration following annular injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:A degradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA) scaffold has been used to construct a degradable porous scaffold.This template can simulate the in vivo microenvironment and promote tissue formation. OBJECTIVE:To observe the histopathological changes during degeneration and regeneration of the intervertebral disc,and to analyze the effects of a PLGA scaffold on nerve fiber ingrowth into the lesion in vivo. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled animal experiment was performed at the Orthopaedic Laboratory,Clinic Medical Research Institution,Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital,Zhejiang University,from December 2007 to July 2008. MATERIALS:PLGA(China Textile Academy);growth-associated protein-43(Life-span,USA);and protein gene product 9.5 antibody(AbD,United Kingdom) were used in this study. METHODS:Three consecutive segments of the intervertebral disc of thirty-two healthy adult male New Zealand rabbits were exposed,comprising L_(3-4),L_(4-5) and L_(5-6).Experimental intervertebral disc (L_(4-5) and L_(5-6)) models were established by two different methods.In the test(trephine+scaffold) group,a 5-mm deep hole was drilled into the annulus fibrosus using a 3-mm diameter trephine,and the PLGA scaffold was implanted into the hole.In the acupuncture group,the remaining experimental intervertebral disc annulus fibrosus was damaged using a 16G needle at a depth of 5 mm.The L_(3-4) disc served as a control. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Intervertebral disc degeneration was assessed using radiography, magnetic resonance imaging,and histological examination at various time points post-surgery. Nerve fiber ingrowth into the degenerated intervertebral disc was observed using immunohistochemical staining for growth-associated protein-43 and protein gene product 9.5. RESULTS:Compared with the normal controls,the heights of the damaged intervertebral discs were decreased,and T2 signal intensity was decreased in the test and acupuncture groups 2 weeks post-surgery.Intervertebral disc degeneration was faster in the test group than in the acupuncture group.PLGA was coated with newly formed tissue,gradually degraded,and absorbed,and could induce tissue ingrowth deep into the annulus fibrosus.Results of immunohistochemical staining showed that nerve fibers were distributed in newly formed tissue in the test group,and in the superficial layer or surrounding scar tissue in the acupu.cture group.
