1Sparse Kernel Locality Preserving Projection and Its Application in Nonlinear Process Fault Detection显示文摘Locality preserving projection (LPP) is a newly emerging fault detection method which can discover local manifold structure of a data set to be analyzed, but its linear assumption may lead to monitoring performance degradation for complicated nonlinear industrial processes. In this paper, an improved LPP method, referred to as sparse kernel locality preserving projection (SKLPP) is proposed for nonlinear process fault detection. Based on the LPP model, kernel trick is applied to construct nonlinear kernel model. Furthermore, for reducing the computational complexity of kernel model, feature samples selection technique is adopted to make the kernel LPP model sparse. Lastly, two monitoring statistics of SKLPP model are built to detect process faults. 3Developing Hybrid cell-edge and cell-node Dissipative Compact Scheme for Complex Geometry Flows显示文摘Developing high resolution finite difference scheme and enabling the use of this scheme on complex geometry are the aims of this study.High resolution has been achieved by Dissipative Compact Schemes(DCS),however,according to the recent research,applications of DCS on complex geometry may have serious problem for that the Geometric Conservation Law(GCL)is not satisfied,and this may cause numerical instability.To cope with this problem,a new scheme named Hybrid cell-edge and cell-node Dissipative Compact Scheme(HDCS)has been formulated.The formulation of the HDCS contains two steps.First,a new central compact scheme is formulated for the purpose of conveniently fulfilling the GCL,and then dissipation is added on the central scheme by high-order dissipative interpolation of cell-edge variables.The solutions of Euler and Navier-Stokes equations show that the HDCS can be applied successfully on complex geometry,while the DCS may suffer numerical instabilities.Moreover,high resolution of the HDCS may be observed in the test of scattering of acoustic waves by multiple cylinders.DENG XiaoGang JIANG Yi MAO MeiLiang LIU HuaYong TU GuoHua 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,10:10
4Validation of a RANS transition model using a high-order weighted compact nonlinear scheme显示文摘A modified transition model is given based on the shear stress transport (SST) turbulence model and an intermittency transport equation. The energy gradient term in the original model is replaced by flow strain rate to saving computational costs. The model employs local variables only, and then it can be conveniently implemented in modern computational fluid dynamics codes. The fifth-order weighted compact nonlinear scheme and the fourth-order staggered scheme are applied to discrete the governing equations for the purpose of minimizing discretization errors, so as to mitigate the confusion between numerical errors and transition model errors. The high-order package is compared with a second-order TVD method on simulating the transitional flow of a flat plate. Numerical results indicate that the high-order package give better grid convergence property than that of the second-order method. 5Stratigraphy of the Triassic-Jurassic Boundary Successions of the Southern Margin of the Junggar Basin,Northwestern China显示文摘The Triassic-Jurassic(Tr-J) boundary marks a major extinction event,which(~200 Ma) resulted in global extinctions of fauna and flora both in the marine and terrestrial realms.There prevail great challenges in determining the exact location of the terrestrial Tr-J boundary,because of endemism of taxa and the scarcity of fossils in terrestrial settings leading to difficulties in linking marine and terrestrial sedimentary successions.Investigation based on palynology and bivalves has been carried out over a 1113 m thick section,which is subdivided into 132 beds,along the Haojiagou valley on the southern margin of the Junggar Basin of the northern Xinjiang,northwestern China.The terrestrial Lower Jurassic is conformably resting on the Upper Triassic strata.The Upper Triassic covers the Huangshanjie Formation overlaid by the Haojiagou Formation,while the Lower Jurassic comprises the Badaowan Formation followed by the Sangonghe Formation.Fifty six pollen and spore taxa and one algal taxon were identified from the sediments.Based on the key-species and abundance of spores and pollen,three zones were erected:the Late Triassic(Rhaetian) Aratrisporites-Alisporites Assemblage,the Early Jurassic(Hettangian) Perinopollenites-Pinuspollenites Assemblage,and the Sinemurian Perinopollenites-Cycadopites Assemblage.The Tr-J boundary is placed between bed 44 and 45 coincident with the boundary between the Haojiagou and Badaowan formations.Beds with Ferganoconcha(?),Unio-Ferganoconcha and Waagenoperna-Yananoconcha bivalve assemblages are recognized.The Ferganoconcha(?) bed is limited to the upper Haojiagou Formation, Unio-Ferganoconcha and Waagenoperna-Yananoconcha assemblages are present in the middle and upper members of the Badaowan Formation.The sedimentary succession is interpreted as terrestrial with two mainly lake deposit intervals within Haojiagou and Badaowan formations,yielding fresh water algae and bivalves.However,the presence of brackish water algae Tasmanites and the marine-littoral facies bivalve Waagenoperna from the Badaowan Formation indicate that the Junggar Basin was influenced by sea water caused by transgressions from the northern Tethys,during the Sinemurian.SHA Jingeng Vivi VAJDA PAN Yanhong Linda LARSSON YAO Xiaogang ZHANG Xiaolin WANG Yaqiong CHENG Xiansheng JIANG Baoyu DENG Shenghui CHEN Siwei PENG Bo 2011Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2011,85,2:7
6High-Order and High Accurate CFD Methods and Their Applications for Complex Grid Problems显示文摘The purpose of this article is to summarize our recent progress in high-order and high accurate CFD methods for flow problems with complex grids as well as to discuss the engineering prospects in using these methods.Despite the rapid development of high-order algorithms in CFD,the applications of high-order and high accurate methods on complex configurations are still limited.One of the main reasons which hinder the widely applications of thesemethods is the complexity of grids.Many aspects which can be neglected for low-order schemes must be treated carefully for high-order ones when the configurations are complex.In order to implement highorder finite difference schemes on complex multi-block grids,the geometric conservation lawand block-interface conditions are discussed.A conservativemetricmethod is applied to calculate the grid derivatives,and a characteristic-based interface condition is employed to fulfil high-order multi-block computing.The fifth-order WCNS-E-5 proposed by Deng[9,10]is applied to simulate flows with complex grids,including a double-delta wing,a transonic airplane configuration,and a hypersonic X-38 configuration.The results in this paper and the references show pleasant prospects in engineering-oriented applications of high-order schemes.Xiaogang Deng Meiliang Mao Guohua Tu Hanxin Zhang Yifeng Zhang 2012Communications in Computational Physics2012,11,4:6

8New optimized flux difference schemes for improving high-order weighted compact nonlinear scheme with applications显示文摘To improve the spectral characteristics of the high-order weighted compact nonlinear scheme(WCNS),optimized flux difference schemes are proposed.The disadvantages in previous optimization routines,i.e.,reducing formal orders,or extending stencil widths,are avoided in the new optimized schemes by utilizing fluxes from both cell-edges and cell-nodes.Optimizations are implemented with Fourier analysis for linear schemes and the approximate dispersion relation(ADR)for nonlinear schemes.Classical difference schemes are restored near discontinuities to suppress numerical oscillations with use of a shock sensor based on smoothness indicators.The results of several benchmark numerical tests indicate that the new optimized difference schemes outperform the classical schemes,in terms of accuracy and resolution for smooth wave and vortex,especially for long-time simulations.Using optimized schemes increases the total CPU time by less than 4%.Shichao ZHENG Xiaogang DENG Dongfang WANG 2021Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2021,42,3:2

10Numerical study on the gas-kinetic high-order schemes for solving Boltzmann model equation显示文摘The high-order compact finite difference technique is introduced to solve the Boltzmann model equation, and the gas-kinetic high-order schemes are developed to simulate the different kinetic model equations such as the BGK model, the Shakhov model and the Ellipsoidal Statistical (ES) model in this paper. The methods are tested for the one-dimensional unsteady shock-tube problems with various Knudsen numbers, the inner flows of normal shock wave for different Mach numbers, and the two-dimensional flows past a circular cylinder and a NACA 002 airfoil to verify the reliability of the present high-order algorithm and simulate gas transport phenomena covering various flow regimes. The computed results are found in good agreement both with the theoretical prediction from continuum to rarefied gas dynamics, the related DSMC solutions, and with the experimental results. The numerical effect of the schemes with the different precision and the different types of Boltzmann collision models on the computational efficiency and computed results is investigated and analyzed. 13Specific generation of nitric oxide in mitochondria of cancer cell for selective oncotherapy显示文摘Nitric oxide(NO)gas therapy,especially,L-arginine(L-Arg)-based NO treatment strategies have attracted extensive attention in the field of oncotherapy.However,current strategies are unable to differentiate well between normal cells and cancer cells,which may lead to unpredictable toxicity.Motivated by the fact that mitochondria of cancer cells can express excessive nitric oxide synthetase(NOS),herein,a nanozyme-based NO generator,cerium oxide(CeO_(2))-AT,is fabricated to specifically catalyze the production of NO in cancer cells for selective tumor treatment.In this system,after being endocytosed into cancer cells,the generator can produce a number of NO under the catalysis of NOS in mitochondria of cancer cells,which can disrupt the mitochondrial respiratory chain of tumor cells and further induce cell apoptosis.In addition,the generator with catalase(CAT)-like activity can catalyze H_(2)O_(2)to produce O_(2),which can promote the generation of NO and improve the performance of NO gas therapy.What is more,our system has no obvious impact on the viability of normal cells owing to the less production of NO.Our work paves a new way for the development of highly selective NO-based treatment particularly useful for the safe and specific cancer therapy.Mengyu Sun Yanjuan Sang Qingqing Deng Zhengwei Liu Jinsong Ren Xiaogang Qu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1

16Multiderivative Combined Dissipative Compact Scheme Satisfying Geometric Conservation Law III: Characteristic-Wise Hybrid Method显示文摘Based on newly developed weight-based smoothness detectors and non-linear interpolations designed to capture discontinuities for the multiderivative com-bined dissipative compact scheme(MDCS),hybrid linear and nonlinear interpolations are proposed to form hybrid MDCS.These detectors are derived from the weights used for the nonlinear interpolations and can provide suitable switches between the linear and the nonlinear schemes to realize the characteristics for the hybrid MDCS of capturing discontinuities and maintaining high resolution in the region without large discontinuities.To save computational cost,the nonlinear scheme with characteris-tic decomposition is only applied in the detected discontinuities region by specially designed hybrid strategy.Typical tests show that the hybrid MDCS is capable of cap-turing discontinuities and maintaining high resolution power for the smooth region at the same time.With the satisfaction of the geometric conservative law(GCL),the MDCS is further applied on curvilinear mesh to present its promising capability of handling pragmatic simulations.Yi Jiang Meiliang Mao Xiaogang Deng Huayong Liu 2022Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2022,14,2:1
