| 1 | Ultra-small nanodots coated with oligopeptides providing highly negative charges to enhance osteogenic differentiation of hBMSCs better than osteogenic induction medium显示文摘For bone regenerative engineering,it is a promising method to form skeletal tissues differentiating from human bone morrow mesenchyme stem cells(hBMSCs).However,it is still a critical challenge to efficiently control ostogenesis and clearly reveal the influence factor.To this end,the fluorescent gold nanodots(Au NDs) with highly negative charges as osteogenic induction reagent are successfully synthesized,which display better than commercial osteogenic induction medium through the investigations of ALP activity(2.5 folds) and cytoskeleton staining(1.5 folds).Two kinds of oligopeptides with different bio-structures(cysteine,Cys and glutathione,GSH) are selected for providing surficial charges on Au NDs.It is revealed that Au-Cys with more negative charges(-51 mV) play better role than Au-GSH(-19 mV) in osteogenic differentiation,when both of them have same size(~2 nm),sphere shape and show similar cell uptake amount.To explore deeply,osteogenesis related signaling pathways are monitored,revealing that the enhancement of osteogenic differentiation was through autophagy signaling pathway triggered by Au-Cys.And the promotion of highly negative charges in osteogenic diffe rentiation was further proved via sliver nanodots(Ag NDs,Ag-Cys and Ag-GSH) and carbon nanodots(CDs,Cys-CDs and GSH-CDs).This work indicates part of insights during hBMSCs differentiation and provides a novel strategy in osteogenic differentiation process. | Yueqi Zhao Lin Meng Kai Zhang Yuanqing Sun Yue Zhao Zhe Yang Yangliu Lin Xinrui Liu Hongchen Sun Bai Yang Quan Lin | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Evaluating R&D efficiency of China's listed lithium battery enterprises显示文摘Promoting the growth of the lithium battery sector has been a critical aspect of China's energy policy in terms of achieving carbon neutrality.However,despite significant support on research and development(R&D)investments that have resulted in increasing size,the sector seems to be falling behind in technological areas.To guide future policies and understand proper ways of promoting R&D efficiency,we looked into the lithium battery industry of China.Specifically,data envelopment analysis(DEA)was used as the primary approach based on evidence from 22 listed lithium battery enterprises.The performance of the five leading players was compared with that of the industry as a whole.Results revealed little indication of a meaningful improvement in R&D efficiency throughout our sample from 2010 to 2019.However,during this period,a significant increase in R&D expenditure was witnessed.This finding was supported,as the results showed that the average technical efficiency of the 22 enterprises was 0.442,whereas the average pure technical efficiency was at 0.503,thus suggesting that they were suffering from decreasing returns to scale(DRS).In contrast,the performance of the five leading players seemed superior because their average efficiency scores were higher than the industry's average.Moreover,they were experiencing increasing scale efficiency(IRS).We draw on these findings to suggest to policymakers that supporting technologically intensive sectors should be more than simply increasing investment scale;rather,it should also encompass assisting businesses in developing efficient managerial processes for R&D. | Shizhen BAI Xinrui BI Chunjia HAN Qijun ZHOU Wen-Long SHANG Mu YANG Lin WANG Petros IEROMONACHOU Hao HE | 2022 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2022,9,3: | 0 |

| 5 | Rice sl-MH-1 mutant induces cell death and confers blast resistance via the synergistic roles of signaling systems显示文摘Serotonin is ubiquitous across all forms of life and functions in responses to biotic and abiotic stresses.In rice,the conversion of tryptamine to serotonin is catalyzed by Sekiguchi lesion(SL).Previous studies have identified an sl mutation(a null mutation of SL)in several rice varieties and confirmed its increase of resistance and cell death.However,a systematic understanding of the reprogrammed cellular processes causing cell death and resistance is lacking.We performed a multi-omics analysis to clarify the fundamental mechanisms at the protein,gene transcript,and metabolite levels.We found that cell death and Magnaporthe oryzae(M.oryzae)infection of the sl-MH-1 mutant activated plant hormone signal transduction involving salicylic acid(SA),jasmonic acid(JA),and abscisic acid(ABA)in multiple regulatory layers.We characterized the dynamic changes of several key hormone levels during disease progression and under the cell death conditions and showed that SA and JA positively regulated rice cell death and disease resistance.SL-overexpressing lines confirmed that the sl-MH-1 mutant positively regulated rice resistance to M.oryzae.Our studies shed light on cell death and facilitate further mechanistic dissection of programmed cell death in rice. | Dagang Tian Yan Lin Shengping Li Yiyang Cao Gang Li Xinrui Guo Ziqiang Chen Zaijie Chen Feng Wang Zonghua Wang | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 0 |

| 7 | Temporal and spatial variation of cloud cover in arid regions of Central Asia in the last 40 years显示文摘Water resources are one of the key factors restricting the development of arid areas,and cloud water resources is an important part of water resources.The arid region of central Asia is the core region of the current national green silk road construction,and is the largest arid region in the world.Based on cloud cover data of ECMWF,the current study analyzed temporal and spatial characteristics of cloud properties in arid regions of Central Asia between 1980 and 2019.Our findings show that:(1)From the point of view of spatial distribution,total cloudiness in arid regions of Central Asia was low in the south and high in the north.The distribution of high cloud frequency and medium cloud frequency was higher in the south and lower in the north,while low cloud frequency distribution was low in the south and high in the north.(2)In terms of time,the variation of cloud cover and cloud type frequency had obvious seasonal characteristics.From winter to spring,cloud cover increased,and the change of cloud type frequency increased.From spring to summer,cloud cover continued to increase and the change of cloud type frequency increased further.Cloud cover began to decrease from summer to autumn,and the change of cloud type frequency also decreased.(3)Generally,average total cloud cover decreased in most of central Asia,and high and medium cloud cover increased while low cloud cover decreased.This study provides a reference for the rational development of cloud resources in the region. | KaiLiang Zhao GuoFeng Zhu LiYuan Sang JiaWei Liu Lei Wang YuWei Liu YuanXiao Xu XinRui Lin WenHao Zhang LinLin Ye | 2023 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2023,15,2: | 0 |

| 9 | Influence of climate change on hydrological process in the upper reaches of Shiyang River:A case study of the Xiying River,China显示文摘Climate change is the dominant factor affecting the hydrological process, it is of great significance to simulate and predict its influence on water resources management, socio-economic activities, and sustainable development in the future. In this paper, the Xiying River Basin was taken as the study area, China Atmospheric Assimilation Driven Data Set(CMADS) and observation data from the Jiutiaoling station were used to simulate runoff of the SWAT model and calibrate and verify model parameters. On this basis, runoff change of the basin under the future climate scenario of CMIP6 was predicted. Our research shows that:(1) The contribution rates of climate change and human activities to runoff increase of the Xiying River are 89.17% and 10.83%, respectively. Climate change is the most important factor affecting runoff change of the Xiying River.(2) In these three different emission scenarios of SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 in CMIP6 climate model, the average temperature increased by0.61, 1.09 and 1.74 C, respectively, in the Xiying River Basin from 2017 to 2050. | 11 | Conversion of polyethylene to gasoline:Influence of porosity and acidity of zeolites显示文摘Plastic waste is causing serious environmental problems. Developing efficient, cheap and stable catalytic routes to convert plastic waste into valuable products is of great importance for sustainable development, but remains to be a challenging task. Zeolites are cheap and stable, but they are usually not efficient for plastic conversion at a low temperature. Herein a series of microporous and mesoporous zeolites were used to study the influence of porosity and acidity of zeolite on catalytic activity for plastics conversion. It was observed that H-Beta zeolite was an efficient catalyst for cracking high-density polyethylene to gasoline at 240℃, and the products were almost C_(4)–C_(12) alkanes. The effect of porosity and acidity on catalytic performance of zeolites was evaluated, which clearly visualized the good performance of H-Beta due to high surface area, large channel system, large amount accessible acidic sites.
