| 1 | Horizontal Normal Force on Buried Rigid Pipelines in Fluctuant Liquefied Silty Soil显示文摘The submarine pipelines that are buried in the Yellow River subaqueous delta can be subject to fluctuant local-liquefied soil caused by storm wave action, possibly causing pipeline damage. An experimental investigation was carried out in a wave flume to study the horizontal normal force on buried rigid pipelines in fluctuant liquefied soil. In this experiment, the soil bed was made of silt from the Yellow River Delta, whereas a steel pipe served as pipeline. Under the experimental conditions, the normal force range on the pipeline in fluctuant liquefied soil was several times higher than that in stable soil, specifically on the side of the pipeline exposed to the wave direction. The resultant force of the horizontal normal forces on the buried pipeline grew by about one order of magnitude after soil liquefaction. | XU Xingbei XU Guohui REN Yupeng LIU Zhiqin CHEN Changyun | 2019 | Journal of Ocean University of China2019,18,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Effects of Different Row Ratios of Male and Female Parents and Application Amount of Nitrogen Fertilizer on Hybrid Wheat Seed Production and Its Component Factors显示文摘In order to screen suitable high hybrid wheat seed production technology, the split-plot experiment design was adopted and study was carried out about the effects of the different row ratios of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer on hybrid wheat seed production and its component factors. The results showed that the seed production increased with the increase in the number of female parent row. When the row ratio of male and female parents was 2 ∶ 6,the seed production was 3 683. 8 kg/ha; when the application amount of nitrogen fertilization was 50 kg/ha,the seed production was 3 649. 4 kg/ha; the interaction between the row ratio of male and female parents and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer indicated that when the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 6 and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 300 kg/ha,the seed production reached the highest( 4160. 6 kg/ha). The row ratio of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer had significant effect on the component factors of seed production, including the number of grains per spike, spike weight and setting percentage. When the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 5,the number of grains per spike, spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 26. 7 grains,1. 12 g,and 62. 6% respectively; when application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 450 kg/ha,the number of grains per spike, spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 26. 0 grains,1. 08 g,and59. 2% respectively; the interaction of row ratio of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer had significant effect on the number of grains per spike, spike weight and setting percentage; when the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 5 and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 300 kg/ha,the number of grains per spike, spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 29. 6grains,1. 24 g,and 71. 6% respectively. The number of grains per spike is the largest component factor for seed production. Increasing the number of grains per spike can increase the seed production. According to the effects of row ratio of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer on the component factors of seed production, the optimal condition was 2∶ 5-2∶ 6 for row ratio of male and female parents and 300-450 kg/ha for application amount of nitrogen fertilizer. | Can SUN Renwu RUAN Lili YAN Dan HU Xingbei LIU Hengzhi SHE Manman XU Zhongan LI Zelin YI Yuheng YANG | 2017 | Asian Agricultural Research2017,9,3: | 1 |
| 3 | The failure propagation of weakly stable sediment:A reason for the formation of high-velocity turbidity currents in submarine canyons显示文摘The long-distance movement of turbidity currents in submarine canyons can transport large amounts of sediment to deep-sea plains.Previous studies show obvious differences in the turbidity current velocities derived from the multiple cables damage events ranging from 5.9 to 28.0 m/s and those of field observations between 0.15 and 7.2 m/s.Therefore,questions remain regarding whether a turbid fluid in an undersea environment can flow through a submarine canyon for a long distance at a high speed.A new model based on weakly stable sediment is proposed(proposed failure propagation model for weakly stable sediments,WS S-PFP model for short)to explain the high-speed and long-range motion of turbidity currents in submarine canyons through the combination of laboratory tests and numerical analogs. The model is based on two mechanisms:1)the original turbidity current triggers the destabilization of the weakly stable sediment bed and promotes the destabilization and transport of the soft sediment in the downstream direction and 2)the excitation wave that forms when the original turbidity current moves into the canyon leads to the destabilization and transport of the weakly stable sediment in the downstream direction. The proposed model will provide dynamic process interpretation for the study of deep-sea deposition, pollutant transport, and optical cable damage. | Yupeng REN Yi ZHANG Guohui XU Xingbei XU Houjie WANG Zhiyuan CHEN | 2023 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,1: | 0 |
| 4 | Sedimentary Changes of a Sand Layer in Liquefied Silts显示文摘A flume experiment was conducted to investigate the restratification of liquefied sediment strata under a wave load with the focus on the interbedded strata of coarse and fine sediments formed in estuarine and coastal areas. The aim of this research was to study the characteristics and processes of liquefied sediment strata in terms of wave-induced liquefaction. In the experiment, the bottom bed liquefied under the wave action and the liquefied soil moved in the same period with the overlying waves, and the track of the soil particles in the liquefied soil was an ellipse. The sand layer consisting of coarse particles in the upper part, settled into the lower silt layer. The sinking of coarse particles and upward migration of the fine particles of the lower layer induced by liquefied sediment fluctuations are the likely reasons for sedimentation of the sand layer in liquefied silt. | REN Yupeng ZENG Yu XU Xingbei XU Guohui | 2021 | Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5: | 0 |
