2Low and non-uniform illumination color image enhancement using weighted guided image filtering显示文摘In the state of the art,grayscale image enhancement algorithms are typically adopted for enhancement of RGB color images captured with low or non-uniform illumination.As these methods are applied to each RGB channel independently,imbalanced inter-channel enhancements(color distortion)can often be observed in the resulting images.On the other hand,images with non-uniform illumination enhanced by the retinex algorithm are prone to artifacts such as local blurring,halos,and over-enhancement.To address these problems,an improved RGB color image enhancement method is proposed for images captured under nonuniform illumination or in poor visibility,based on weighted guided image filtering(WGIF).Unlike the conventional retinex algorithm and its variants,WGIF uses a surround function instead of a Gaussian filter to estimate the illumination component;it avoids local blurring and halo artifacts due to its anisotropy and adaptive local regularization.To limit color distortion,RGB images are first converted to HSI(hue,saturation,intensity)color space,where only the intensity channel is enhanced,before being converted back to RGB space by a linear color restoration algorithm.Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective for both RGB color and grayscale images captured under low exposure and non-uniform illumination,with better visual quality and objective evaluation scores than from comparator algorithms.It is also efficient due to use of a linear color restoration algorithm.Qi Mu Xinyue Wang Yanyan Wei Zhanli Li 2021Computational Visual Media2021,7,4:4

4Sources of particulate organic matter in the Chukchi and Siberian shelves: clues from carbon and nitrogen isotopes显示文摘The stable isotopic composition(δ13C andδ15N)and carbon/nitrogen ratio(C/N)of particulate organic matter(POM)in the Chukchi and East Siberian shelves from July to September,2016 were measured to evaluate the spatial variability and origin of POM.Theδ13CPOC values were in the range of−29.5‰to−17.5‰with an average of−25.9‰±2.0‰,and theδ15NPN values ranged from 3.9‰to 13.1‰with an average of 8.0‰±1.6‰.The C/N ratios in the East Siberian shelf were generally higher than those in the Chukchi shelf,while theδ13C andδ15N values were just the opposite.Abnormally low C/N ratios(<4),lowδ13CPOC(almost−28‰)and highδ15NPN(>10‰)values were observed in the Wrangel Island polynya,which was attributed to the early bloom of small phytoplankton.The contributions of terrestrial POM,bloom-produced POM and non-bloom marine POM were estimated using a three end-member mixing model.The spatial distribution of terrestrial POM showed a high fraction in the East Siberian shelf and decreased eastward,indicating the influence of Russian rivers.The distribution of non-bloom marine POM showed a high fraction in the Chukchi shelf with the highest fraction occurring in the Bering Strait and decreased westward,suggesting the stimulation of biological production by the Pacific inflow in the Chukchi shelf.The fractions of bloom-produced POM were highest in the winter polynya and gradually decreased toward the periphery.A negative relationship between the bloom-produced POM and the sea ice meltwater inventory was observed,indicating that the net sea ice loss promotes early bloom in the polynya.Given the high fraction of bloom-produced POM,the early bloom of phytoplankton in the polynyas may play an important role on marine production and POM export in the Arctic shelves.Renming Jia Xinyue Mu Min Chen Jing Zhu Bo Wang Xiaopeng Li A S Astakhov Minfang Zheng Yusheng Qiu 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,9:2
5Nano silica aerogel-induced formation of an organic/alloy biphasic interfacial layer enables construction of stable high-energy lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium metal batteries represent promising candidates for high-energy-density batteries, however, many challenges must still be overcome,e.g., interface instability and dendrite growth. In this work, nano silica aerogel was employed to generate a hybrid film with high lithium ion conductivity(0.6 mS cm^(-1)at room temperature) via an in situ crosslinking reaction. TOF-SIMS profile analysis has revealed conversion mechanism of hybrid film to Li–Si alloy/Li F biphasic interface layer, suggesting that the Li–Si alloy and Li F-rich interface layer promoted rapid Li+transport and shielded the Li anodes from corrosive reactions with electrolyte-derived products. When coupled with nickel-cobalt-manganese-based cathodes, the batteries achieve outstanding capacity retention over 1000 cycles at 1 C. Additionally the developed film coated on Li enabled high coulombic efficiency(99.5%) after long-term cycling when coupled with S cathodes. 6Traffic light detection and recognition for autonomous vehicles显示文摘Traffic light detection and recognition is essential for autonomous driving in urban environments. A camera based algorithm for real-time robust traffic light detection and recognition was proposed, and especially designed for autonomous vehicles. Although the current reliable traffic light recognition algorithms operate well under way, most of them are mainly designed for detection at a fixed position and the effect on autonomous vehicles under real-world conditions is still limited. Some methods achieve high accuracy on autonomous vehicle, but they can't work normally without the aid of high-precision priori map. The authors presented a camera-based algorithm for the problem. The image processing flow can be divided into three steps, including pre-processing, detection and recognition. Firstly, red-green-blue(RGB) color space is converted to hue-saturation-value(HSV) as main content of pre-processing. In detection step, the transcendental color threshold method is used for initial filterings, meanwhile, the prior knowledge is performed to scan the scene in order to quickly establish candidate regions. For recognition, this article use histogram of oriented gradients(HOG) features and support vector machine(SVM) as well to recognize the state of traffic light. The proposed system on our autonomous vehicle was evaluated. 7In-vitro experimental study on the fluid-structure interaction in an image-based flexible model with a lateral cerebral aneurysm显示文摘Aiming to experimentally investigate the effect of aspect ratio(AR)of image-based aneurysm on wall deformation oscillation under different pulsatile flow conditions with considering the fluid-structure interaction.In this study,three silicon aneurysm models with different AR(0.8,1.0,and 1.2)were constructed.It was found that the detected wall deformation oscillation of patient-specific aneurysm increased with pulsatile inflow frequency increases,which was greater and more obvious oscillation than that in the ideal lateral aneurysm.In addition,the maximum amplitude of wall deformations oscillation of the aneurysm at the dome during the systolic phase decrease and the oscillation of wall deformation become obvious as AR increases.These results could provide more knowledge about the effect of AR and pulsatile flow on the wall deformation of aneurysm and will be helpful for understanding the aneurysm rupture risk.Qingzhuo Chi Xinyu Li Sheng Chang Lizhong Mu Ying He Ge Gao 2019Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2019,,3:0
8Proteomics analysis of the hypothalamus of high-fat diet fed mice after Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Y44 administration显示文摘Probiotics could regulate human health via changing gut microbiota.Our previous studies found that Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Y44 (L.plantarum Y44) was shown to reverse obesity-related symptoms of high-fat diet fed mice by influencing gut microbiota,which ameliorated lipid metabolism disorders and intestinal inflammation.In this study,the effects of L.plantarum Y44 on high-fat fed mice and the involved mechanisms were investigated through hypothalamus proteomics analysis,which revealed 22 downregulated and 21 upregulated proteins.Differentially expressed proteins between L.plantarum Y44 intervention group and high-fat fed group in hypothalamus of mice involved in metabolic pathways were concentrated in endocrine regulation of carbohydrate,amino acid and energy generation pathways.The hypothalamus proteomics results about the influences on most of differentially expressed proteins of L.plantarum Y44 administering high-fat fed mice has been verified.Therefore,L.plantarum Y44 would be a potential functional strain for the amelioration of high-fat diet associated health problems.Xiaomeng Wu Yajuan Wang Xinyu Du Yujun Liu Yuan Gao Yanfeng Tuo Guangqing Mu 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
9Stable cycling of LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)/lithium metal batteries enabled by synergistic tuning the surface stability of cathode/anode显示文摘Ni-rich layered oxides(LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2))show great potential in long-range and low-cost lithiumion batteries.However,due to the high surface sensitivity,their practical application is hindered by interfacial instability with electrolytes under high voltage for long cyclic life.Herein,by combining both firstprinciple calculations and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(TOF-SIMS),a novel surface fluorinated reconstruction(SFR)mechanism is proposed to improve the interfacial stability under high voltage,which could effectively regulate the surface fluoride species to desensitize the LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)interface.We demonstrate here that by tuning the ratio of fluoride species,the LiNi_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)/Li battery could achieve excellent long-term and high voltage performance(163.5 mA h g^(-1)at 0.5 C for 300 cycles under 4.4 V),while the controlled sample decayed to 125.4 mA h g^(-1)after 300 cycles.Moreover,the favorable cross-talk effect induced by SFR further facilitates the incorporation of suitable amounts of Ni ions into the construction of stable solid electrolyte interface(SEI)layer for anode surface.Therefore,the ultra-long cycling stability under high voltage can be achieved by the robust cathode/electrolyte and Li/electrolyte interfaces,which results in excellent interfacial stability after long cycling.This work provides new insights into the surface design of cathode materials and improves the stability of the electrode-electrode interface under high voltage.Chunli Li Xinyu Zhang Zhuolin Yang Haijian Lv Tinglu Song Shijie Lu Yuxiang Zhang Tianwen Yang Fan Xu Feng Wu Daobin Mu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,12:0
10Targeting cAMP in D1-MSNs in the nucleus accumbens, a new rapid antidepressant strategy显示文摘Studies have suggested that the nucleus accumbens(NAc)is implicated in the pathophysiology of major depression;however,the regulatory strategy that targets the NAc to achieve an exclusive and outstanding anti-depression benefit has not been elucidated.Here,we identified a specific reduction of cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)in the subset of dopamine D1 receptor medium spiny neurons(D1-MSNs)in the NAc that promoted stress susceptibility,while the stimulation of cAMP production in NAc D1-MSNs efficiently rescued depression-like behaviors.Ketamine treatment enhanced cAMP both in D1-MSNs and dopamine D2 receptor medium spiny neurons(D2-MSNs)of depressed mice,however,the rapid antidepressant effect of ketamine solely depended on elevating cAMP in NAc D1-MSNs.We discovered that a higher dose of crocin markedly increased cAMP in the NAc and consistently relieved depression 24 h after oral administration,but not a lower dose.The fast onset property of crocin was verified through multicenter studies.Moreover,crocin specifically targeted at D1-MSN cAMP signaling in the NAc to relieve depression and had no effect on D2-MSN.These findings characterize a new strategy to achieve an exclusive and outstanding anti-depression benefit by elevating cAMP in D1-MSNs in the NAc,and provide a potential rapid antidepressant drug candidate,crocin.Yue Zhang Jingwen Gao Na Li Peng Xu Shimeng Qu Jinqian Cheng Mingrui Wang Xueru Li Yaheng Song Fan Xiao Xinyu Yang Jihong Liu Hao Hong Ronghao Mu Xiaotian Li Youmei Wang Hui Xu Yuan Xie Tianming Gao Guangji Wang Jiye Aa 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,2:0
11Value Assessment of Airport Billboards Based on Passenger Big Data显示文摘As an important element of the airport ecosystem,airport billboards are playing a crucial role in publicizing the city image and facilitating humanistic airport construction.At the same time,airport billboards have great commercial value and is a popular channel for enterprises to prompt their products and to build their brand image.Currently,most airports in China adopt a simple fixed pricing mechanism for airport billboards.Specifically,for any type of billboard,the advertising price is mainly determined by considering historical prices and the total passenger flow of the entire airport during a whole year.However,this seemingly crude pricing mechanism only considers macro-level data of passenger flow and fails in reflecting the real value of billboards in different locations effectively,since the value of a particular billboard depends not only on its media form,but also on the number of passengers flowing through and whether these passengers are the target customers of the advertising content.Based on big data on airport layout,flight information,and passenger attributes,this paper proposes a time-and location-based value assessment model for airport billboards.Using sample data collected from the Beijing Capital International Airport,the assessment model is adopted to evaluate the value of two real billboards in Terminal T3.Application of this model can reflect the difference in the value of airport billboards located in different spots during various periods.Furthermore,this model provides a solid foundation for airport executives to develop differentiated/dynamic pricing and flexible advertisement scheduling strategies,thereby improving the overall efficiency.Jianliang Mu Xinyue Cai Yongbo Xiao 2022Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2022,31,3:0
12KeEL: knowledge enhanced entity linking in automatic biography construction显示文摘Biography is a direct and extensive way to know the representation of well known peoples, however, for common people, there is poor knowledge for them to be recognized. In recent years, information extraction(IE) technologies have been used to automatically generate biography for any people with online information. One of the key challenges is the entity linking(EL) which can link biography sentence to corresponding entities. Currently the used general EL systems usually generate errors originated from entity name variation and ambiguity. Compared with general text, biography sentences possess unique yet rarely studied relational knowledge(RK) and temporal knowledge(TK), which could sufficiently distinguish entities. This article proposed a new statistical framework called the knowledge enhanced EL(KeEL) system for automated biography construction. It utilizes commonsense knowledge like PK and TK to enhance Entity Linking. The performance of Ke EL on Wikipedia data was evaluated. 13Self-adaptive hydrogel for breast cancer therapy via accurate tumor elimination and on-demand adipose tissue regeneration显示文摘The irregular defects and residual tumor tissue after surgery are challenges for effective breast cancer treatment.Herein,a smart hydrogel with self-adaptable size and dual responsive cargos release was fabricated to treat breast cancer via accurate tumor elimination,on-demand adipose tissue regeneration and effective infection inhibition.The hydrogel consisted of thiol groups ended polyethylene glycol(SH-PEG-SH)and doxorubicin encapsulated mesoporous silica nanocarriers(DOX@MSNs)double crosslinked hyaluronic acid(HA)after loading of antibacterial peptides(AP)and adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs).A pH-cleavable unsaturated amide bond was pre-introduced between MSNs and HA frame to perform the tumor-specific acidic environment dependent DOX@MSNs release,meanwhile an esterase degradable glyceryl dimethacrylate cap was grafted on MSNs,which contributed to the selective chemotherapy in tumor cells with over-expressed esterase.The bond cleavage between MSNs and HA would also cause the swelling of the hydrogel,which not only provide sufficient space for the growth of ADSCs,but allows the hydrogel to fully fill the irregular defects generated by surgery and residual tumor atrophy,resulting in the on-demand regeneration of adipose tissue.Moreover,the sustained release of AP could be simultaneously triggered along with the size change of hydrogel,which further avoided bacterial infection to promote tissue regeneration.Ran Tian Xinyu Qiu Wenyun Mu Bolei Cai Zhongning Liu Shiyu Liu Xin Chen 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1:0
