| 2 | An ATF24 peptide-functionalized β-elemene-nanostructured lipid carrier combined with cisplatin for bladder cancer treatment显示文摘Objective:In this study,we aimed to develop an amino-terminal fragment(ATF)peptide-targeted liposome carryingβ-elemene(ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E)for targeted delivery into urokinase plasminogen activator receptor-overexpressing bladder cancer cells combined with cisplatin(DDP)for bladder cancer treatment.Methods:The liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection and high-pressure microjet homogenization.The liposomes were characterized,and the drug content,entrapment efficiency,andin vitro release were studied.The targeting efficiency was investigated using confocal microscopy,ultra-fast liquid chromatography,and an orthotopic bladder cancer model.The effects of ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E combined with DDP on cell viability and proliferation were evaluated by a Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay,a colony formation assay,and cell apoptosis and cell cycle analyses.The anticancer effects were evaluated in a KU-19-19 bladder cancer xenograft model.Results:ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had small and uniform sizes(~79 nm),high drug loading capacity(~5.24 mg/mL),high entrapment efficiency(98.37±0.95%),and exhibited sustained drug release behavior.ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had better targeting efficiency and higher cytotoxicity than polyethylene glycol(PEG)ylatedβ-elemene liposomes(PEG-Lipo-β-E).DDP,combined with ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E,exerted a synergistic effect on cellular apoptosis and cell arrest at the G2/M phase,and these effects were dependent on the caspase-dependent pathway and Cdc25C/Cdc2/cyclin B1 pathways.Furthermore,thein vivo antitumor activity showed that the targeted liposomes effectively inhibited the growth of tumors,using the combined strategy.Conclusions:The present study provided an effective strategy for the targeted delivery ofβ-elemene(β-E)to bladder cancer,and a combined strategy for bladder cancer treatment. | Bingtao Zhai Peng Chen Wengang Wang Shuiping Liu Jiao Feng Ting Duan Yu Xiang Ruonan Zhang Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Xiaying Chen Qiujie Li Guohua Li Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Wenzheng Zhang Ting Pan Lili Yan Ting Jin Tian Xie Xinbing Sui | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3: | 5 |

| 4 | Giant nonlinear Hall effect in twisted bilayer WSe_(2)显示文摘The recently discovered nonlinear Hall effect(NHE)in a few non-interacting systems provides a novel mechanism for generating second-harmonic electrical Hall signals under time-reversal-symmetric conditions.Here,we introduce a new approach to engineering an NHE by using twisted moiréstructures.We found that the twisted WSe_(2)bilayer exhibited an NHE when the Fermi level was tuned to the moiréflat bands.When the first moiréband was half-filled,the nonlinear Hall signal exhibited a sharp peak with a generation efficiency that was at least two orders of magnitude greater than those obtained in previous experiments.We discuss the possible origins of the diverging generation efficiency in twisted WSe_(2)based on resistivity measurements,such as moiré-interface-induced correlation effects and mass-diverging-type continuous Mot transition.This study demonstrates not only how interaction effects can combine with Berry curvature dipoles to produce novel quantum phenomena,but also the potential of NHE measurements as a new tool for studying quantum criticality. | Meizhen Huang Zefei Wu Jinxin Hu Xiangbin Cai En Li Liheng An Xuemeng Feng Ziqing Ye Nian Lin Kam Tuen Law Ning Wang | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,4: | 0 |
| 5 | LessNet:Lightweight and efficient semantic segmentation for large‐scale point clouds显示文摘With a wide range of applications in autonomous driving and robotics,semantic seg-mentation for large‐scale outdoor point clouds is a critical and challenging issue.Due to the large number and irregular arrangement of point clouds,it is difficult to balance the efficiency and effectiveness.In this paper,we propose LessNet,a lightweight and efficient voxel‐based method for LiDAR‐only semantic segmentation,taking advantage of cylin-drical partition and intra‐voxel feature fusion.Specifically,we use a cylindrical partition method to distribute the outdoor point clouds more evenly in voxels.To better encode the voxel features,we adopt an intra‐voxel aggregation method without querying neighbours.The voxel features are further input into a lightweight and effective 3D U‐net to aggregate local features and dilate the receptive field.Extensive experiments prove the satisfied semantic segmentation performance and the improvement of each component in our proposed framework.Our method is capable of processing more than one million point clouds at a time while retaining low latency and few parameters.Moreover,our method achieves comparable performance with state‐of‐the‐art approaches and out-performs all projection‐based methods on the SemanticKITTI benchmark. | Guoqiang Feng Weilong Li Xiaolin Zhao Xuemeng Yang Xin Kong TianXin Huang Jinhao Cui | 2022 | IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,2: | 0 |
