| 1 | Helium and neon isotopic compositions in the ophiolites from the Yarlung Zangbo River,Southwestern China:The information from deep mantle显示文摘The ophiolites from the Yarlung Zangbo River (Tibet),Southwestern China, were analysed for the con-tents of helium and neon and their isotopic compositions by stepwise heating. The serpentinites from Bainang showed a high 3He/4He value of 32.66Ra (Ra is referred to the 3He/4He ratio in the present air) in 700 ℃ fraction. At lower temperature, all of the dolerites displayed as very high 3He/4He ratios as ones investigated for hotspots. It was clear that the high 3He/4He ratio was one of immanent characterics in the magma source formed the dolerites, suggesting that there was a large amount of deep mantle fluids in these rocks. In the three-isotope diagram of neon, the data points from the ophiolites of the Yarlung Zangbo River were arranged along the Loihi Line. This is in agreement with the characteristics of he-lium isotopes, revealing that the high-3He plume from deep mantle had played an important role in the formation of the Neo-Tethyan Ocean. The helium isotopic compositions in the basalts were far higher than atomospheric value but lower than the average value of MORB,although there were various de-grees of alteration. | 2 | He-Ar isotope geochemistry of the Yaoling-Meiziwo tungsten deposit,North Guangdong Province:Constraints on Yanshanian crust-mantle interaction and metallogenesis in SE China显示文摘Isotopic abundances and ratios of He and Ar found in inclusion fluids in pyrites formed in the Yaoling-Meiziwo tungsten miner-alization epoch show that the concentration of 4He varies widely, from 1.54×10-7 cm3 STP/g to 2609×10-7 cm3 STP/g.3He is 0.759×10-12 cm3 STP/g-3.463×10-12 cm3 STP/g.3He/4He is 0.0043-4.362 Ra,varying from crustal to mantle values. The concen-tration of 40Ar ranges from 0.624×10-7 cm3 STP/g to 8.89×10-7 cm3 STP/g.The 40Ar/36Ar varies extensively, from 330 to 2952,between atmospheric and crustal or mantle radiogenic values.Mantle-derived He is present in ore-forming fluids and the calcu-lated average proportion of the mantle He is 22%;the maximum is 67%.Our research results show that mantle-derived fluids play a significant role in tungsten mineralization. The fractionation of He and Ar indicate that there was 4He-enriched air-saturated water(MSAW) in the ore-forming fluid. The ore-forming fluid was a mixture of mantle fluid, crustal magmatic fluid and MSAW.The occurrence of a mantle component in ore-forming fluid indicates the large-scale W and Sn mineralization, including Yaol-ing-Meiziwo,in southeastern China was the result of crust and mantle interaction. The underplating or intrusion of voluminous basaltic magma formed by partial melting of the upper mantle provided the necessary heat to cause partial melting of the crust and the generation of voluminous S-type granitic magmas.Crustal magmatic fluid and mantle fluid with high 3He/4He were released from magma crystallization and fractionation, mixed with the circulating modified air-saturated water, and filled the extensional tectonic fractures, leading to the formation of world-class W and Sn deposits in southeastern China. | ZHAI Wei SUN XiaoMing WU YunShan SUN YanYan HUA RenMin YE XianRen | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,10: | 16 |
| 3 | Noble Gas Isotopic Compositions of Cobalt-rich Ferromanganese Crusts from the Western Pacific Ocean and Their Geological Implications显示文摘Noble gas isotopic compositions of various layers in three-layered (outer, porous and compact layers) cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts and their basaltic and phosphorite substrates from the western Pacific Ocean were analyzed by using a high vacuum gas mass spectrum. The analytical results show that the noble gases in the Co-rich crusts have derived mainly from the ambient seawater, extraterrestrial grains such as interplanetary dust particles (IDPs) and wind-borne continental dust grains, and locally formation water in the submarine sediments, but different noble gases have different sources. He in the crusts derives predominantly from the extraterrestrial grains, with a negligible amount of radiogenic He from the eolian dust grains. Ar is sourced mainly from the dissolved air in the seawater and insignificantly from radiogenic Ar in the eolian continental dust grains or the formation water. Xe and Ne derive mainly from the seawater, with minor amounts of extraterrestrial Xe and Ne in the IDPs. Compared with the porous and outer layers, the compact layer has a relatively high 4He content and lower 3He/4He ratios, suggesting that marine phosphatization might have greatly modified the noble gas isotopic compositions of the crusts. Besides, the 3He/4He values of the basaltic substrates of the cobalt-rich crusts are very low and their R/Ra ratios are mostly <0.1 Ra, which are similar to that of phosphorite substrates (0.087 Ra), but much lower than that of fresh submarine MORB (8.75±2.14 Ra) or seamount basalts (3-43 Ra), implying that the basaltic substrates have suffered strong water/rock interaction and reacted with radiogenic 4He and P-rich upwelling marine currents during phosphatization. The trace elements released in the basalt/seawater interaction might favor the growth of cobalt-rich crusts. The relatively low 3He/4He values in the seamount basalts may be used as an important exploration criterion for the cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts. | SUN Xiaoming XUE Ting HE Gaowen YE Xianren ZHANG Mei LU Hongfeng WANG Shengwei | 2007 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2007,81,1: | 5 |
| 4 | Helium and argon isotopes of the Tertiary basic igneous rocks from Shandong Peninsula and implications for the magma origin显示文摘Helium (He) and Argon (Ar) isotopic compositions of the Tertiary basic igneous rocks were determined by the high temperature melting extraction method. The selected samples for the studies included al-kaline basalts and diabases from the Jiyang basin, and the surrounding Shanwang and Qixia outcrops in the Shandong Peninsula, eastern China. The results show that the Paleogene basalts and diabases from the Jiyang basin yielded a wide range of P4 PHe abundance of (73.70-804.16)×10 P-8 Pcm P3 P STP·g P-1 P,with P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios of 0.374-2.959 Ra,which was lower than the MORB but evidently higher than the con-tinental crust value. The Neogene alkaline basalts from the Jiyang basin,Shanwang and Qixia outcrops have variable P4 PHe abundances ((42.34-286.72)×10-8 Pcm P3 P STP·g-1 P),and 'continental crust-like' P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios (0.013-0.074 Ra). All of them contain atmospheric-like P40 PAr/ P36 PAr ratio (395.4-1312.7),reflecting the mantle sources with air components. Their low P3 PHe/ P4 PHe ratios are interpreted as the enrichment of the radiogenic P4 PHe mainly inherited from the mantle. He and Ar systematics show the mixing of MORB-type,air and a P4 PHe enriched member in the mantle source, suggesting that these igneous rocks originated from the depleted asthenospheric mantle mixed with an EMI component. Therefore, the present He and Ar isotopes do not support the viewpoints that the Cenozoic igneous rocks of Eastern North China were the products of mantle plume(s) activities. | TANG HuaYun ZHENG JianPing CHEN HongHan YE XianRen | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,7: | 3 |

| 7 | Many-body dissipative particle dynamics simulation of wetting phenomena显示文摘With the development of the simulation of particle dynamics, the traditional dissipative particle dynamics(DPD)method can not satisfy the needs of research in static or dynamic wetting phenomena. However, the Many-body DPD approach extends the ability of the traditional method to simulate the interface between solid and liquid or some other situation. In this paper,we propose a Many-body DPD program to simulate the solidliquid interface and get satisfactory results. | Ying ZHAO Ye YUE Xianren ZHANG Shuangyang LI Atul SAJJANHAR | 2010 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,3: | 0 |
