| 1 | The 600-mm precipitation isoline distinguishes tree-ring-width responses to climate in China显示文摘The numerous temperature and precipitation reconstructions in China based on tree-ring-width data have played significant roles in furthering the understanding of past climate changes. However, the geographical variability in the responses of trees to climate variations in China remains largely undetermined. Here, we describe an important spatial boundary in the response of trees to climate variations, namely the 600-mm annual precipitation isoline. We found that, to the north of this line, tree-ring widths are usually positively correlated with precipitation and negatively correlated with growing-season temperature. To the south of this line, the tree-ring widths respond positively to temperature, and winter half-year temperatures are the main reconstructed parameters, especially on the third topographical step of China. We also found that precipitation reconstructions based on tree-ring data and the Palmer Drought Severity Index almost exclusively fall in the region of the 200- to 600-mm annual precipitation isolines, not other regions. | 3 | Aligned fibrin/functionalized self-assembling peptide interpenetrating nanofiber hydrogel presenting multi-cues promotes peripheral nerve functional recovery显示文摘Nerve guidance conduits with hollow lumen fail to regenerate critical-sized peripheral nerve defects(15 mm in rats and 25 mm in humans),which can be improved by a beneficial intraluminal microenvironment.However,individual cues provided by intraluminal filling materials are inadequate to eliminate the functional gap between regenerated nerves and normal nerves.Herein,an aligned fibrin/functionalized self-assembling peptide(AFG/fSAP)interpenetrating nanofiber hydrogel that exerting synergistic topographical and biochemical cues for peripheral nerve regeneration is constructed via electrospinning and molecular self-assembly.The hydrogel possesses an aligned structure,high water content,appropriate mechanical properties and suitable biodegradation capabilities for nerve repair,which enhances the alignment and neurotrophin secretion of primary Schwann cells(SCs)in vitro,and successfully bridges a 15-mm sciatic nerve gap in rats in vivo.The rats transplanted with the AFG/fSAP hydrogel exhibit satisfactory morphological and functional recovery in myelinated nerve fibers and innervated muscles.The motor function recovery facilitated by the AFG/fSAP hydrogel is comparable with that of autografts.Moreover,the AFG/fSAP hydrogel upregulates the regeneration-associated gene expression and activates the PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling pathways in the regenerated nerve.Altogether,the AFG/fSAP hydrogel represents a promising approach for peripheral nerve repair through an integration of structural guidance and biochemical stimulation. | Shuhui Yang Jinjin Zhu Changfeng Lu Yi Chai Zheng Cao Jiaju Lu Zhe Zhang He Zhao Yin-Yuan Huang Shenglian Yao Xiangdong Kong Peixun Zhang Xiumei Wang | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,2: | 3 |

| 17 | Geochemistry of the Mesoproterozoic Intrusions, Geochronology and Isotopic Constraints on the Xiaonanshan Cu-Ni Deposit along the Northern Margin of the North China Craton显示文摘Mesoproterozoic magma events in the Bayan Obo rift belt have remained poorly constrained and as a result, the Late Paleoproterozoic–Mesoproterozoic tectonic evolution of the rift belt has remained unclear. By a multiple-facetted regional geological investigation of this belt, we have resolved the stratigraphic sequence and geochronology of the Bayan Obo Group and made new discoveries including a three-stage mantle-derived magmatic sequence. Zircon and baddeleyite dating of Xiaonanshan hornblende pyroxenite emplaced into the Bayan Obo Group yields 207Pb/206Pb ages of ca. 1.34 and 1.33 Ga. The geochronological, geochemistry, Hf isotopic analyses place an important constraint on ages of the Late Paleoproterozoic–Mesoproterozoic strata and the evolution of the rift belt. Our field observations and U-Pb dating results suggest that mineralization is genetically related to Mesoproterozoic magmatism in North China Craton, i.e., 1.33–1.34 Ga. The δ34SV-CDT values of sulphide from the ore-bearing ultra-/mafic samples are about 6.2‰, whereas the 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb, and 208Pb/204Pb values vary in the ranges of 17.598–18.115, 15.496–15.501, and 37.478–37.952, respectively. | 18 | Microwave Assisted Preparation of Monodisperse Polymeric Microspheres and Its Morphologies and Kinetics显示文摘The emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide (NMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (St) was successfully carried out under microwave irradiation, and monodisperse polymeric microspheres were prepared. The experimental results show that the emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization under microwave irradiation has more rapid reaction rate, higher conversion and shorter induction time than the copolymerization with conventional heating.
