1Method of accurate grinding for single enveloping TI worm显示文摘TI worm drive consists of involute helical gear and its enveloping Hourglass worm. Accurate grinding for TI worm is the key manufacture technology for TI worm gearing being popularized and applied.According to the theory of gear mesh, the equations of tooth surface of worm drive are gained, and the equation of the axial section profile of grinding wheel that can accurately grind TI worm is extracted. Simultaneously, the relation of position and motion between TI worm and grinding wheel are expounded. 2Thermally enhanced responsivity in an all-silicon optical power monitor based on defect-mediated absorption显示文摘We demonstrate a high responsivity all-silicon in-line optical power monitor by using the thermal effect to enhance the quantum efficiency of defect-mediated absorption at 1550 nm.The doping compensation technique is utilized to increase the density of lattice defects responsible for the sub-bandgap absorption and suppress the detrimental free carrier absorption.The 200-μm-long device presents a propagation loss as low as 2.9 d B/cm.Its responsivity is enhanced from 12.1 m A/W to 112 m A/W at-9 V bias by heating the optical absorption region.With this device,we build an optical power monitoring system that operates in the sampling mode.The minimal detectable optical power of the system is below-22.8 d Bm,while the average power consumption is less than1 m W at a sampling frequency of 10 Hz.Advantages of this scheme in terms of high responsivity,low insertion loss,and low power consumption lend itself to implement the feedback control of advanced large-scale silicon photonic integrated circuits.QIKAI HUANG HUI YU QIANG ZHANG YAN LI WEIWEI CHEN YUEHAI WANG JIANYI YANG 2021Photonics Research2021,9,11:1

5Intervention and treatment of upper limb lymphedema with traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor in women. Because of the clearing of axillary lymph nodes and the radiotherapy of lymph node region, lymphatic dysfunction occurs and lymphatic fluid retards in the interstitial space. These will lead to a series of pathological changes, such as tissue edema, chronic inflammation, tissue fibrosis and fatty fibrosis. Lymphedema is a chronic disease with the feature of slow progression and is currently incurable. The timely treatment and proper care can alleviate the symptoms and improve the quality of life. 6Highly efficient enzymolysis and fermentation of corn stalk into L-lactic acid by enzyme-bacteria friendly ionic liquid pretreatment显示文摘Ionic liquids(ILs)have been widely used in the pretreatment of biomass.However,the effects of residual ILs on the enzymolysis and fermentation of biomass are still unknown.Therefore,a large quantity of water-washing is usually followed after biomass pretreatment to eliminate the inhibition of residual ILs on subsequent hydrolysis and fermentation steps.In this work,the effect of choline glycine([Ch][Gly])concentration on the activity of cellulase and Bacillus sp.strain P38 was systematically investigated to explore the impacts of residual ILs on enzymolysis and fermentation.The results confirmed that the activities of them were almost not inhibited in low concentrations(less than 0.5 wt%)of[Ch][Gly].Under optimal pretreatment conditions,the maximum cellulose digestibility was 99.23%.Enzymatic hydrolysate was suitable for L-lactic acid fermentation without appreciable inhibition,and the highest sugar-acid conversion rate of 96.33%was obtained by simplified detoxification.This work provides an economic route to produce fermentable sugar and L-lactic acid,which shows an industrial application prospect in lignocellulosic biorefinery.Yongqing Yang Yuehai Wang Xingmei Lu Xu Zheng Dongxia Yan Jiayu Xin Ibrahim El-Tantawy El-Sayed Ying Kang Jiming Yang 2022Green Chemical Engineering2022,3,4:0
7Differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells in adult versus neonatal rats after brachial plexus root avulsion injury显示文摘An experimental model of brachial plexus root avulsion injury of cervical dorsal C5-6 was established in adult and neonatal rats.Real-time PCR showed that the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor,nerve growth factor and neurotrophin-3 in adult rats increased rapidly 1 day after brachial plexus root avulsion injury,and then gradually decreased to normal levels by 21 days.In neonatal rats,levels of the three neurotrophic factors were decreased on the first day after injury,and then gradually increased from the seventh day and remained at high levels for an extended period of time.We observed that greater neural plasticity contributed to better functional recovery in neonatal rats after brachial plexus root avulsion injury compared with adult rats.Moreover, immunohistochemical staining showed that the number of bromodeoxyuridine/nestin-positive cells increased significantly in the spinal cords of the adult rats compared with neonatal rats after brachial plexus root avulsion injury.In addition,the number of bromodeoxyuridine/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells in adult rats was significantly higher than in neonatal rats 14 and 35 days after brachial plexus injury.Bromodeoxyuridine/β-tubulin-positive cells were not found in either adult or neonatal rats.These results indicate that neural stem cells differentiate mainly into astrocytes after brachial plexus root avulsion injury.Furthermore,the degree of neural stem cell differentiation in neonatal rats was lower than in adult rats.Bingqi Wang Lei Chen Bin Liu Zhigang Liu Zhixin Zhang Yuehai Pan Liangsong Song Laijin Lu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,23:0
