| 1 | The maize late embryogenesis abundant protein Zm DHN13 positively regulates copper tolerance in transgenic yeast and tobacco显示文摘Late embryogenesis abundant (LEA) proteins accumulate in the late stage of plant seed development, and are upregulated in most plants during drought, cold, heat, or salinity stress. LEA proteins can be classified by amino-acid sequence into seven groups. Dehydrins belong to LEA protein group Ⅱ. In previous studies, the maize KS type dehydrin ZmDHN13 increased the tolerance of transgenic tobacco to oxidative stress. In the present study, ZmDHN13 was identified under copper stress conditions, and the protein was then characterized using transgenic yeast and tobacco plants to investigate its functions. ZmDHN13 bound Cu2+. Its overexpression in transgenic tobacco conferred tolerance to copper stress by binding metals and reducing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). | 2 | Multiple-Stage Mineralization in the Huayangchuan U-REE-Mo-Cu-Fe Ore Belt of the Qinling Orogen,Central China:Geological and Re-Os Geochronological Constraints显示文摘The Huayangchuan ore belt is located in the western segment of Xiaoqinling Orogen in the southern margin of the North China Craton(NCC),and hosts voluminous magmatism and significant U-REE-Mo-Cu-Fe polymetallic mineralization.However,geochronological framework of the various mineralization phases in this region is poorly understood.Here,we present new Re-Os isochron ages on magnetite from the Caotan Fe deposit(2 675 ± 410 Ma,MSWD = 0.55),and on pyrite from the Jialu REE deposit(2 127 ± 280 Ma,MSWD = 1.9) and Yuejiawa Cu deposit(418 ± 23 Ma,MSWD =11.5),and Re-Os weighted average model age on pyrite from the Taoyuan Mo-U deposit(235 ± 14 Ma,MSWD = 0.17).These ages,combined with regional geology and mineralization ages from other deposits,suggest that mineralization in the Huayangchuan ore belt lasted from the Neoarchean to the Late Mesozoic.The mineralization corresponds to regional tectono-magmatic events,including the Neoarchean alkali magmatism(REE mineralization),Paleoproterozoic plagioclase-amphibolite emplacement(Fe mineralization),Paleoproterozoic pegmatite magmatism(U mineralization),Paleozoic Shangdan oceanic slab subduction-related arc magmatism(Cu mineralization),Early Mesozoic Paleo-Tethys Ocean subduction-related arc magmatism(Mo-U mineralization),and Late Mesozoic Paleo-Pacific oceanic plate subduction direction change-related Mo(-Pb) mineralization.We proposed that the Huayangchuan ore belt has undergone prolonged metallogenic evolution,and the magmatism and associated mineralization were controlled by regional geodynamic events. | Hongjun Jiang Chunsi Yang Dequan Wang Hui Zheng Jie Li Huayong Chen | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,1: | 2 |

| 12 | Lateral variation in Moho depth around the southern Tanlu fault zone and its adjacent area显示文摘We estimated Moho depth beneath the southern Tanlu fault zone and its adjacent area using common-conversion-point(CCP)stacking of receiver functions,which were computed from teleseismic records of the CEArray.Our estimated Moho depth matches well with 2-D profiles derived from active-source deep seismic reflection surveys,suggesting that the calculated the Moho depth map is likely accurate beyond the 2-D profiles.Overall,the estimated Moho depth map showed a high spatial correlation with tectonic provinces,i.e.,Moho topographic boundaries are in good agreement with geological boundaries.Beneath the Dabie orogenic belt and the mountainous areas in southern Anhui Province,the Moho lies relatively deep,and there is an obvious difference in Moho depth between the two sides of this segment of the Tanlu fault.We further selected four depth profiles with dense instrumentation to show Moho depth changes across different tectonic blocks in the study area.We saw two step-like changes in Moho depth beneath the Xiangfan-Guangji and Gushi-Feizhong,which run parallel along the WNW-ESE direction and delineate the southern and northern bounds of the northern Dabie orogenic belt,which is likely the suture zone between the North China Block and South China Block.Crust beneath the northeast corner of the study area is significantly thinner than other areas,which is consistent with the crustal detachment model proposed for suturing between the North and South China blocks in the region east to the Tanlu fault. | Dequan Hong Xianliang Huang Yun Yang Ziwen Bao Xiaoli Wang Xueying Wang | 2021 | Earthquake Science2021,34,1: | 1 |
