| 3 | Feed-Forward Active Noise Control System Using Microphone Array显示文摘Feedforward active noise control(ANC) system are widely used to reduce the wide-band noise in different application. In feedforward ANC systems, when the noise source is unknown, the misplacement of the reference microphone may violate the causality constraint. We present a performance analysis of the feedforward ANC system under a noncausal condition. The ANC system performance degrades when the degree of noncausality increases. This research applies the microphone array technique to feedforward ANC systems to solve the unknown noise source problem. The generalized cross-correlation(GCC) and steering response power(SRP) methods based on microphone array are used to estimate the noise source location.Then, the ANC system selects the proper reference microphone for a noise control algorithm. The simulation and experiment results show that the SRP method can estimate the noise source direction with 84% accuracy. | 6 | Prefrontal attention and multiple reference frames during working memory in primates显示文摘The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is responsible for executive functions, including planning, goal setting, problem solving, inhibitory control, monitoring, and action adjusting. Executive functions also include selective attention and the flexibility or switching of attention; therefore, attention is an executive function in which the PFC participates. Working memory (WM), which is the temporary maintenance and processing of particular information, is usually considered to be a basic neural mechanism underlying the executive functions. This review systematically discusses the relationship between the prefrontal WM and attention and empha- sizes two forms of prefrontal attention. The first form occurs in the dlPFC, which encodes the location of objects with respect to the position of the head, thereby providing a frame of reference from which the focus of attention can be centered. | 8 | Synthesis of yttrium iron garnet/bismuth quantum dot heterostructures with localized plasmon enhanced magneto-optical performance显示文摘Interactions between light and magnetic matter attracted great attention lately due to their potential applications in nanophotonics,spintronics,and high-accuracy sensing.Here,we grew bismuth quantum dots(Bi–QDs)with strong spin–orbit coupling on a magnetic insulator yttrium iron garnet(YIG)via molecular beam epitaxy.The YIG/Bi–QDs material shows an enhanced magneto-optical Kerr rotation up to 130%compared with that of a bare YIG film.The Bi–QDs were also introduced onto a lutetium–bismuth co-doped YIG film to form a hybrid system with remarkably enhanced Kerr rotation(from 1626 to 2341 mdeg).Ferromagnetic resonance measurements showed an increased effective magnetization as well as interfacial spin–orbit field in the YIG/Bi–QD heterostructures.Localized plasmons were mapped using electron energy loss spectroscopy with high spatial resolution,revealing enhanced plasmon intensity at both the Bi–QD surface and YIG/Bi–QD interface.Introducing Bi-QDs onto the YIG film enhanced Kerr rotation owing to the attenuated optical reflection and increased effective magnetization.The Bi–QDenhanced magneto-optical effect enables development of efficient nanoscale light switching,spintronics,and even plasmonic nano-antennas. | Lichuan Jin Caiyun Hong Dainan Zhang Peng Gao Yiheng Rao Gang Wang Qinghui Yang Zhiyong Zhong Huaiwu Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,16: | 0 |
| 9 | Electric field-driven folding of single molecules显示文摘Folding of molecules is an essential process in nature,and various molecular machines achieve their chemical and mechanical function via controlled folding of molecular conformations.The electric field offers a unique strategy to drive the folding of molecular conformation and to control charge transport through single molecules but remains unexplored.The single-molecule break junction technique provides access to detect the conformational changes via the monitoring of single-molecule conductance,and the electric field between two metal electrodes with nanoscale spacing can provide an extremely strong to achieve in-situ control and detection of molecular folding at the single-molecule level.Here,we use the electric field to control the single-molecule folding using the scanning tunneling microscope break junction(STM-BJ)technique.The electric fields induced folding could lead to a∼1400%conductance change of the single-molecule junctions,and the folding/unfolding process can be in-situ switched at the scale of milliseconds.DFT calculations suggest the conformational control originates from the electric fieldinduced charge injection,and the formation of homoconjugated conformation with the overlapped orbitals.This work provides the first demonstration of electric field-driven molecular folding,which is essential for the understanding of molecular machines in nature and for the design of artificial molecular machines. | Saisai Yuan Yu Zhou Tengyang Gao Lichuan Chen Wei Xu Ping Duan Juejun Wang Zhichao Pan Chun Tang Yang Yang Ruiyun Huang Zongyuan Xiao Wenjing Hong | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0 |
